Exceptional service. The staff is really professional and supportive, they went the extra mile to make sure I could understand my pet's condition, identify symptoms and help. I am truly impressed how good everything was during my visit, phone calls and support.

It was my first time.it was a wonderful experience techs and doctors just excellent.

The staff was very friendly, the office was extremely clean and neat, the vet was great and explained everything to me, and answered all of my questions. The vet that saw my dog was Dr. Delgado. She is great!

Today 7/8/21 was the first visit of my dog, I was recommended by a friend, I was amazed with the treatment of the team, Dr. Cherlene is a sweet person, the girl Rebeca is very kind and sweet , you can see that she likes working with animals , I was impressed with everyone, they sent my pet a treatment and I was satisfied ???? I recommend them 100% ????????

Our dog received outstanding eye care. His chronic eye condition is now manageable. The doctors and staff are compassionate, kind and very professional.

How difficult could it be to write a review? Well... let's see how it goes. My "old lady" Sussie was referred to an ophthalmologist back in 2018 because she had an issue with one of her eyes and he wasn't sure what it was. The clinic was close to me and I took her. I was hesitant at first but after I met Dr. Delgado I knew my dog was in good hands. She is not only an amazing ophthalmologist, all the members of her team are excellent human beings, from the person who answers the phones, to the ones who bring you the bill to pay. Fast forward to May 2021my old lady passed away, I sent a message the doctor to let her know and received an email full of empathy that help me deal with the loss. Dr. Delgado called me too and continued to answer all my questions even when her patient was already gone. I received a condolence card with messages from all the staff which brought tears to my eyes. Today I received a letter from an institution they made a donation in my dog's name. If your dog needs an ophthalmologist choose this office, you will not regret them. It was a pleasure meeting all of them... words are not enough that's why writing this review wasn't easy.

My dog needed an entropion surgery, they did an amazing job and I love that they are on point with checking on their patients.Due to covid you arrive,check in by sending them a message on their number and they come pick up your pet.The only thing I didn’t like is that they went ahead and did a extra enhancement without consulting with me first because of the price getting higher.halfway surgery they call and say by the way we did this extra thing,should we proceed with the next eye?Honestly what do you want me to say at that point?No leave one eye closed and one open?

Animal Eye Guys Bird Road is the best place to bring your pet if they are having ocular health issues. My big American Bulldog, May, can be very rowdy and anxious when it comes to her eyes being handled because of her condition but Dr. Delgado, Dr. Bertram, and Nurse Victoria are amazing at handling her. Her condition has improved drastically since our first visit and Dr. Delgado and Dr. Bertram always do a great job at informing me of any issues going on or progress that is being made in her treatment. Not only that but Nurse Victoria is incredibly sweet with May which is evident by the way May runs off with her as soon as we open the car door for our drop off visit. The office staff has also been so accommodating with me in changing my appointments seeing as my work schedule sometimes causes me to have to change my next appointment. I do want to note that if you are considering WHICH animal eye guy to bring your pet to, THIS location is the one. We previously had a negative experience at the Miami Lakes animal eye guy and were hesitant about even giving another location a shot but trusting the Bird Road specialists with my May is the best decision I ever made for her ocular and overall health!

I really am so grateful. The whole staff was reassuring and accommodating during a very stressful moment for our pet and family. Price was very reasonable and procedure professional. Thanks again for everything.

Will start with saying that the medical care was excellent, but get ready to get a second mortgage for it. My pet required a very expensive operation which I agreed to get performed and was given upfront cost. Its been a downhill experience after the surgery. Medications(refills) are marked up 10 times in some instances. Follow up visits are priced outrageously. There is no communication on these costs. They just nickel and dime you.

The staff here are very kind and helpful with our dog. I'm very grateful to them for their help.

This was my first time visiting this office to help with Manolito’s issue (English Bulldog) and the doctor (Dr Delgado), all staff (Nicolas and the girls) and service over all was superb... Congratulations

We've gone to several different veterinary offices since we moved from the Midwest to South Florida, due to poor treatment (to both us owners and our pets). It is hard to find kind, helpful, patient people that actually care here - not just from veterinary offices, but everything from grocery stores to the post office, everyone seems to have an attitude. Bringing my furbaby to Dr. Delgado at Animal Eye Guys for her eye issue is the FIRST 100% pleasant experience I have had with any business in 3 years living here. Jennifer and Dr. Delgado were so sweet, helpful, patient, caring, and informative. They answered all of my questions, saw my baby the same day despite our schedule restrictions, offered advice outside the realm of just trying to make money - they really just cared so much about her and it showed. They communicate well via email which is a major plus for me. They were able to obtain my baby's records from our primary vet within 15 minutes. I wish we could bring all of our fur babies there for their primary care, too - but I am just over the moon happy with the pleasant experience my family, pup included, had, despite the unfortunate circumstances of being sick in the first place. A real diamond in the rough.

Dr. Delgado and her entire team at the Bird road office didn't only meet our expectations--but exceeded them by far! the office staff was caring and considerate &Dr. Delgado provided excellent service to both SPOT THE CAT and to us!

Great place, staff and doctors. Everyone was so nice and cared for my dog so well.

I'm not sure about this place. It all seems to be about money. Everyone I've seen come out has a bag full of meds to give to their pets. I am one of those people. My dog was administered 2 oral antibiotics, 2 different drops for the eyes, and a sedative. The instructions on the paper do NOT match up with the instructions on the individual bottles. I can't call until tomorrow morning and am terrified because the instructions on the bottle (mind you the tech marked each syringe with the dosage on the bottles) is TWICE the amount than what's written on the paper. I'm horrified and am now understanding why my 8lb chihuahua is not looking so happy. She's also 14+ years old and supposed to be having a surgery in 3 days. I'm very afraid because instead of getting stronger and feeling better leading up, she's been lethargic and as of two days not wanting to eat. She also hasn't pooped today and I'm thinking it may be a mixture of constipation due to so many antibiotics and not eating. I will be calling tomorrow morning as soon as they open and will be updating this comment. I'm scared for her and I'm seriously considering not going through with her surgery at this vet. The staff is nice and they seem professional and like they know what they're doing but it all seems to be for money. WAY too much medication for an 8lb chihuahua and not any care or attention into what dosage they're administering.

My recent visit with Dr. Delgado and her staff was nothing but the best experience "Bo" and I have ever had at a veterinarians clinic. They eye examination was performed with extreme care and patience. There was no rush to get us in and out, on the contrary . Every effort was made to reach a determination followed by a clear and precise written diagnostic and recommendations. Get some peace of mind and don't think twice about visiting with them. Jo B

Dr. Delgado, along with her whole staff were so awesome, courteous and helpful during the difficult time with my cat Lunas eye. The treatment Dr. Delgado gave me to do worked. I'm so thankful as well as Luna! God bless ???????? will definitely recommend!

Reliable and Available When You Need

I really like the professional and compassionate treatment they are giving my dog. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there are 2 vets treating my dog and I don't know them. We have to stay in the car while they attend to my dog. But, they could/should poke their head out the door to wave hello. I was referred to them by my regular vet and would feel better if I could put a face to a name. My dog went blind in one eye and the other is being affected also. Feels strange to get there, open the car door to let her out and wait till they call with results. If they did this, I would give them 6, not 5 stars because i have had a very good experience so far.

Parking is in the back; don’t use the main parking for the complex. Wait time was a little long... however, the staff is great. They helped my pup get back to 100%
