I love this place I did the training to my dog, in addition is not expensive, the instructor is very good. Patient, very competent and kind to all customers. His name is Juan Lopez, who with my Gigis was wonderful.

Ridiculous selection of bird items. There was only one small shelf of bird items in the back of the store and it was shared with the small pets (hamsters, Guinea pigs, etc).

The worst customer service ever- the staff is rude and unprofessional. Trainers double as sales people, and aggressively push their services. When I told one trainer that I wasn’t interested in classes with him he dismissed me and sent me home with an extra large harness for my 25lb. puppy. When I went back to return it later that day they made it as difficult as possible, acting as though I was asking for something crazy.

AVOID VETCO and veterinary services at Petco. If no stars were an option that would be the case. On days when VETCO or their veterinary service is there their veterinarians are rushed, hurried and are not looking out for the animals, the animals' age and medical conditions. In the case of VETCO at North Miami, veterinarian Laura B., gave NexGard flea control one-month pills to my dog of 15 years old with conditions and did not warn of the possible lethal effects of vomiting, bloody diarrhea and seizure associated with the medication. Beware of VETCO, all Petco veterinary services, their staff, the medicines they provide and pet's health. My dog of 15 years old died less than 24 hours after the NexGard. Wishing you many happy years with your animals and please beware of VETCO, all Petco veterinary services, and their associated Petco locations, that support VETCO services.

I’m glad to see a lot of positive reviews on here, but I took my dog there last week and I’m embarrassed to admit that I just realized the whiskers on one side of his face have been cut off. I’m so disturbed by this and don’t know if this was a mistake or something sick. Either way, that’s wrong and I won’t be going back.

Three T’s of mine developed DKS after I bought crickets from here. Be careful.

It was them that gave me the compound that I required for my pet, and I'm appreciative on the grounds that I had the decision to get it at a reasonable cost. Jireh has given me hope that outstanding customer service isn’t a thing of the past. I recently dealt with a DoorDash delivery fiasco where they were supposed to deliver my pet items the same day to me. The driver said he had the wrong address (false) and has not returned the items to petco in order for me to receive reimbursement. Jireh made a promise to continue to follow up with me and ensure that my items are refunded and he did just that. He used his compassion to turn a stressful situation into a more pleasant ending. I value his employment as he deserves all the recognition.

The store is well organized. I find anything I need for my Stevy: food, treats, toys. If you have a dog there is also grooming and training. A real pet friendly environment.

My Spencer loves to be groomed at Petco. He is pampered like in a Spa. Not to mention the food and all the toys.

You are the best pet shop that I've known! Seven days earlier, I got some stuff for my canines. I was so shocked when you just offered those stuff at a genuinely sensible expense. Clean store, quick service and helpful employees (by Miami standards). In other words - most of the time you can walk through the store without stepping in random pet food pieces, checking out takes 10-15 minutes rather than 30-40 minutes, and employees have a general sense of where everything is but may not know specific information for your exact pet but will admit if they don’t. These are all above average/excellent for any store in Miami Beach.

Nice for Pets. Your company needs to hire more employees only one person to attempt that's ridiculous.
