They are nice and professional. I appreciated the honest and straightforward answers I received during a hard time for out family.

Our cat had hyperthyroidism and she was treated with Iodine 131 here. We were able to get an appoint within a week. The staff were very polite, informative and professional. They took great care of our cat and the procedure was a success. I would return here if my cat needed specialty care in the future.

Dr. Lawrence was knowledgeable and seemed competent but her services are clearly reserved only for the wealthy. I am a middle class citizen and I was happy to pay $5,000 to her to remove a tumor from my beloved dog but she demanded $7,500 and she said she may have to put my dog to sleep on the table and I would still owe the exorbitant balance. There is no reasonable justification for $7,500 for four hours of work (as detailed in my quote). That's $15k per eight hour work day. This is greed, simply stated. If Dr. Lawrence wants to publicly debate me as to why $15k/day isn't greed then I am happy to debate her.

They took excellent care of our cat Beaker. He had spent 2 nights at the emergency room nearby and needed uretheral surgery for a second urinary blockage. They got him in the next day did his surgery and kept him overnight. They updated us on his progress. He did great. They did an excellent job with curbside service and covid precautions. After 3 weeks with his stitches they removed them and he's healing nicely.

Very friendly and professional. Took great care of my dog during and after her knee surgery. I was able to speak to vet tech while my dog was recuperating overnight at their office. She even sent me a pic. Great piece of mind.

Dr. Lawrence is genuinely amazing and I am convinced she is an animal whisperer. She was able to remove a thyroid mass and also let me know that my dog was also suffering from a ligament detachment on his leg as well. Wasn’t even fully aware of that. Anyways, my dog had surgery and he was back with me 24 hours later and he was back to his old self again. They also called to check in on him regularly which was a very nice thought. So glad they helped me feel taken care of too since I could call at all hours after surgery, even overnight, to check in on him. 10/10 see Dr. Lawrence and her staff!

My Olde English Bulldog had to have a huge procedure done for his Bracecyphallic Syndrome. They took very good care of my boy. He is doing so much better!

The receptionist Mattie was extremely nice to me today! She really takes the time and listens to you and let me tell you she was really there for me today with my dog. Best receptionist I have ever spoke with over the phone, she really cares! Thank you Mattie for everything today!!!!

My dog was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma and removal was required. Visited for an exam and an estimate was given. We opted to go with the surgery. The entire staff was super helpful, responsive and courteous. The surgery went well. Dr. Lawrence was super easy to work with. Took wonderful care of my dog. Thank you.

From start to finish, this center worked with my "family vet" by sharing pertinent info and films. The financial aspects were clear AFTER a personal discussion with the surgeon! The procedure occurred and I was contacted when my pet was in recovery. I felt 100% at ease with this center "being there for my dog 24+ hours after surgery. Finally, I was sent home with rehab instructions. I chose to supplement my rehab with the rehab center next door and I believe my little male maltese will rule the big dog park once again.

Carrie from the rehab department took amazing care of my cat after surgery. She was kind and patient through months of dealing with my feisty cat. Definitely recommend!

Very attentive and they seem to care about our pets

We started our journey with our lab, Frank, rupturing his CCL on a Friday night. By Monday, he could not ambulate independently and other specialists in the area were giving us a 1-3 week waiting period before they could see him. As we were becoming more and more exhausted mentally and physically, I researched Veterinary Specialty Center and called them the following Wednesday morning. They were my last hope. I explained the situation with Frank’s increasing pain and suffering and inability to walk. As I spoke with Kim, she listened and empathized with me. My first impression from my first interaction with her told me immediately that we had found the answer that we had been searching for. She had us scheduled first thing the next morning for our consultation and Dr. Lawrence worked us in to same day surgery. We came to learn that Frank needed both knees repaired as he had suffered extensive damage. Dr. Lawrence explained our options and spent time showing us what our long term prognosis would look like. The emotions and distress we felt learning that our beloved Frank was in for at least a 16 week rehab was not only a shock but took some time to digest. This staff shared laughs and tears with us during the first part of our journey. They were exactly what we needed when all else was failing. They listened, they understood, they were personal and they gave us the confidence that we ourselves needed. Frank had his first surgery today and Dr. Lawrence and her techs walked us out the door. Yes- he walked out the door 24 hours post op. And she walked with us. I feel so grateful to have a specialist on this journey with us who also has a team of support to help us along the way. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for being the answer to our prayers on this journey. We are so thankful for what you’ve done for our Frank!

Would DEFINITELY recommend!!! By far the absolute BEST vet and staff I've ever come into contact with. We have 5 cats and a dog. One of our cats became gravely ill. Dr. Lawrence saved our cat. She walked us through each step of care or cat needed. She is also the MOST compassionate, kind, loving, caring vet in the world. I was SO financially worried. I get in this world nowadays that people want all money up front. I gave my word that I would pay when I said I would bc I KNOW at some point I will definitely NEED her again and could not live with myself if she were ever taken advantage of. When I approached her about my financial concerns, her next words were "Oh don't worry, I'm not going to hold your cat hostage!" That meant the world to me to hear those words.
