The People at Sunshine Animal Hospital showed they truly care about animals. Such a great experience, Dr. Fontenot was great. This was Poncho's first trip to this new office and Dr. Fontenot delved into the records to understand his new client. I also greatly appreciate that masks were not required, BRAVO!

Doctor and office staff are great! Always helpful when I call and they check up on our pup the next day to see how he's doing.

This guy this doctor is I can't even put into words how horrible these people are when it comes to not just the pets needs but to the owners needs. I don't ask for any accolades cuz I chose to join the military but upon returning home from overseas there's chaos in our lives I had to reschedule because of things that were beyond My control while reestablishing my life in the United States this doctor decided that I offended him by canceling twice and I canceled I called and canceled properly

There's a reason there are no cars in the parking lot! We brought our 9-month-old German Shepherd, who is still learning to socialize. We had him muzzled for security. We brought our dog to the back to meet with the "Dr," Sure enough, he was barking at him. We tried hard to calm him down, which he usually does. He waited approximately 2 minutes for him to calm down and very rudely told us we were wasting his time. He didn't even try to wait for him to calm down, which a normal Vet would. He did not attempt to talk to our dog and make connections/bonding as it was the first time our dog met him. I'm not sure what time we were wasting of his; there was no one else there! TRUST YOUR DOG'S INSTINCT! It is not our nature to leave reviews, and this is our first time. On a good note, kudos to the staff at the front desk. She was more professional and friendly. Go somewhere else who is a real Vet that loves animals.

Came in for the first time today with my puppy, Indie. The staff was amazing, I called on my way back home from work, they offered an appointment 30min later for a really interesting rate! The assistant was really nice to us AND our dog, the doctor was really professional and sweet with the dog. My puppy usually loves going to the vet, but today was a little rough on her since she was really sick and confused. They still managed to calm her down and give her love before and after doing anything. The vet we were usually going to did not have any opening which is why we went to Sunshine Animal Hospital, the prices are good and the staff is even better, this place is definitely going to be our new vet. They also take care of bunnies as non exotic, which is rare and amazing! Not only we will come back for our dog, but we will come back with the bunnies and cat for sure! Thank you for that amazing experience!

Was late to my appointment (they said it was okay to come in late) because I was rushing home from work to grab my puppy who was in pain and needed help and forgot my wallet, I asked if my wife who’s debit card “picture” I had and was on her way to be here in 10 minutes if my puppy could still be seen. They said no sorry that won’t work, the doctor wants to go home soon. They cared about going home when,they were still open another hour. You should get in this business to help animals not to feed your wallet. the fact the owner responded to a review specifically shows how unprofessional this place is. Don’t go here because they don’t actually care.

I have have received excellent compassionate and professional care for my 3 animals for the past 4 years since moving here. Additionally, my mom has also taken her cat and dog who are in their twilight years to him. Dr Fontenot is patient and has made friends with our furbabies, which is important to me.

Great place to bring you pet. I have now been coming here for 15 years with all 3 of my pups. Everyone is great and compassionate.

My pup is always very skittish when visiting the vet. She absolutely loves it here. The staff are all very friendly, attentive, and seem to genuinely enjoy helping animals. Prices are also very reasonable.

They offer a 1 year heartguard vaccine! No more worries. Helpful staff.

I took my dog here to get established with a vet and we couldn't be more pleased! The receptionist was extremely helpful and great, the tech was equally as wonderful with my dog and did an excellent job with him. Dr. Kevin was thorough, very helpful with great advice and recommendations. We are very pleased with the decision to make this our vet and we couldn't be happier with our first visit and experience!! When i entered the office it was modern spacious and spotless.Since my puppy was a bit of an emergency. I was seen pretty quickly. First by a tech and then the doctor.He was really gentle with my puppy and was attentive when I was explaining what happened.Dr. Kevin was honest and sympathetic. I felt I could trust him. Everyone there was so nice and caring even when I was a mess worried and crying.Although a bit pricey for vet care but so is everything else in Melbourne my puppy really got the care she needed and the doctor is really upfront about the prices too. They called to give me updates and to check on my puppy after he went home

They are honest, friendly and so helpful. We have a bunch of pets.And regardless of who’s sick they’re always willing to go above and beyond. We've taken all of our cats, dogs and our guinea pig, there.They were all treated with so much care. Even after our guinea pig passed away they sent a card even though she didn't pass in the clinic. It's the thoughtfulness of the staff that really sets them above the rest.The follow ups phone calls show that they really care.That why we keep coming back

A animal hospital that cares if it’s serious or just routine check up. Paper work is little and respect and generosity huge! They treat your pet like family, and are all about treating animals not your wallet. ????

The doc was so detailed checking his blood tests and answering all my questions. When my dog lost the use of his back legs Dr. Fontenot was thorough and compassionate making sure my dog had the best care. Two years later and my little Henry is still going strong!! He is now 12.5 years old.

I absolutely love this vet hospital. Every time I go there it’s been positive. Me and my dog are a little nervous when it comes to going to the vet.But Sunshine has been treated us great.I cannot say enough positive things about Sunshine Animal Hospital

Doctor has cared for two of our dogs. Both had emergencies and he calmly examined them and spends a good deal of time answering questions. Our older dog we had to put down and they all made the moment better. Waiting time is minimal. Staff is polite, friendly, and extremely capable in their jobs. Great place to go!!
