This facility allows 24 hour drop offs of any injured or misplaced animal. The intake is contactless and the animals are attended to asap. The staff is friendly and informative.

Found a pigeon floating in the Banana River. Dropped it off for some recovery.

Very disappointed an update cannot be given to a concerned citizen who has taken the time to not only capture an injured animal but transport it to your facility. Surely, if it's a matter of staff, an intern would be happy to answer calls from the public. Ive worked at busier wildlife centers and we at least tried to answer the public's calls. Not very transparent.

This group is amazing, they were the only group that would help me with a wood stork all the way over in Orlando! Thank you so much for all you do!!

Great place. I found a couple stray baby birds around my apartment complex and they took them in without hesitation. They have drop off boxes for wildlife and someone is always there to take care of them.

There is a Retention Pond near me that has Muscovy ducks in it. I brought a sick duckling to them and emailed them on asking how the duckling was doing, they never got back to me. A week ago I called them for an injured adult duck, they said they could not help it because it was not native to Florida and gave no referrals as to where I can get this poor animal help. Very sad and disappointing. ???? ????

What a great place to learn about the care and support for animals rescued from injury and accidents, hoping to restore their health and safely return them to the wild.

Definitely bring any wildlife there and fill out the form. Give a specific location for where the animal was found so they can release it back into its territory.

I called the number on the website, had to leave a message and a phone number, about 40 minutes later I think it was I got a phone call from the animal hospital, they verify that it was me that called, we exchanged information and instructions and address, we came to the drop off area, put in the new patient, a baby bird that had fallen out of it's nest, very friendly baby bird by the way, informed the hospital of the drop off and they we're very happy.

Not very happy that they won't take a fledgling mockingbird that is perfectly fine because I don't know anything about how to take care of a wild bird. He eats and hops around, but he can't fly. It makes me sad that I can't seem to get any help from any of these wildlife havens.

Brought a baby racoon in that we had for a few weeks. Loved and cared for it, but knew we couldn't get permit to keep it so brought to wildlife hospital believing he would be in good hands until he could be back outside and able to survive on his own. Was informed they put him down. Is that really how they test for rabbies??????

We are so lucky to have this nonprofit wildlife hospital in our area. They care greatly for animals. Hopefully they'll help this little guy out and send him on his way

Grateful having the ability to drop off injured baby rabbit after hours, 2:30 AM so he can get medical attention first thing in the morning. Almost can't wait to find out if he/she is okay. ???? Is it possible to find out if the baby rabbit is okay?

If you find an injured critter be careful but do everything you can to save it. Get the injured one to the FWH immediately! Call as you drive to 4560 US 1 and let them know you are coming. These people do all they can to help every animal (feathered or furry, two or 4 legged) that is brought in. They care and have compassion and are so very kind. They are there to help animals in need but they also need OUR help. Go to their website and see what they need. And be grateful they are there

They are so compassionate, kind, and caring. They help so many animals. Even though they are overwhelmed and extremely busy they take time to educate you.
