Very professional. Our dog had ear infection. They tested for type and prescribed meds that cleared up his condition.

Best veterinarians in melbourne. Love how great they were with our dog! They were able to address our concerns and were so kind. Definitely recommend!

Second visit for follow up lepto shot they were out of for annual shot first appt. I was told at first visit I would not have to wait when I came back since it was their fault they didn't have the shot. When I went back I was told they had a lobby full of people and that I would have to wait. How does a vet run out of shots? I should have received a call before I left work to take him for his shots but didn't and wasted my time. I would have rescheduled. Although staff is nice, they say things they shouldn't about not having to wait and then they want you to wait due to no fault of my own. I could not wait at the second visit, I had a conference call so now I have to make a third trip. When I said I needed to reschedule they asked for my pets name to mark as cancelled and could care less. When I said I'll come back next year they said ok. This place is disorganized. I emailed corporate after my experience and replied to a survey and no reply. Banfield really doesn't care. All about the money and selling you on one of their monthly plans. Time to find another vet.

I did dog training with Kim... Training at PetSmart is pricey... but Kim is a great trainer!!! If you train your puppy when it is young, you will have a wonderful well behaved dog later!!!

We had to put our family dog to sleep today. Lexi was 18 years old in human time. The staff there was professional, but also down to earth. Very easy to talk to. Explained everything in detail. Let us stay with her as

My cat came in for a comprehensive exam and left with 3 vaccines. Staff told me it would be normal if she got sick afterwards. By 6pm I was at the emergency vet because she was vomiting blood clots. not just blood. entire blood clots. over $300 later and she is home now and hopefully she will be okay. I was told she likely had an allergic reaction and the stress tore something in her stomach. We are on high alert because we might need to bring her back to put her on oxygen. Moral of the story is, regardless of what the Banfield employees encourage in an effort to save themselves time, get a second opinion. Better yet, go somewhere else. I had 4 different vets tell me they would never give a cat three vaccines in one day the way Banfield did. It is very safe to say I wont be renewing my plan.

I am happy to report a positive review. It has been a year since I left a negative review for Banfield Pet Hospital in Melbourne FL. I decided to try again since it is the closest location for me. The office has changed, very professional and organized, had a positive experience with all staff,. Also,, the vet came out an advised me on the care of my pets. Great job! Thanks for making it a positive experience this time.

This place gets two stars only because most of the staff is very kind. It gets no more than that because back in April, I took my cat into the vet with the concern that he had diabetes. They tested his blood glucose and it was very high, but they assured me it was just stress even though I repeatedly aired my concerns about his condition and the symptoms he was showing. Fast forward to the end of June, my cat was rapidly losing weight and after a point not eating at all, barely able to walk, and I thought I was going to lose him. When I took him back into Banfield, they tested his blood glucose again, and it was very high once more, and I was told he was going into diabetic ketoacidosis and was on borrowed time. I took him into the emergency vet where he stayed for days in critical condition. I really wanted to forgive Banfield, because the staff were very kind to me during a rough day, but I can’t help but feel like their negligence led to this. If they had listened to my concerns in April, my cat never would have been on death’s door and that’s something I can’t forgive. It took me forever to write this review because I normally don’t do things like this, but I wanted to write it if only to tell people: if you know something is wrong with your pet, trust your gut!! I didn’t get a second opinion because I chose to trust the professionals and I regret it fully now. My cat is doing better but he’s still recovering from what was a very stressful and painful ordeal for the both of us. Advocate for your pet as much as you can because they can’t do it themselves. Thank you.

The person at the desk, check-in, was not very nice. Their policies are terrible. We have used Banfield in the past but not this one. Find a local Vet. that understands how people feel about their "kids".

RaiAnne is the best! When I go there she is always honest and supportive and she does a great job clipping nails and squeezing glands! RaiAnne also takes care of my dog too.

My girl used my card to pay a bill there. The only authorized charge. Then they continued to charge my account every month. When i realized it i contacted them and that the charges were fraudulent and to please stop running my card. That was in Feb. They are still charging my card in june. Might i mention i dont even own a pet and my girl only brought her dog there one time...

Pro: The perfect place for my puppy! I have a peace of mind that my puppy is getting the care she needs. They are professional. I like that its a one stop shop. I can get what my puppy needs at Petsmart while I visit. Con: I have anxiety and that is no one else's issue. However, I get overwhelmed with all of the people/pets in the waiting area. I wish there was another waiting area with seating OR if we could just walk around the store and they call our Pet's Name: Now serving "Lily".

Thank you Alex for getting me some quick answers over the phone, you're an angel. Thank you Dr. Amanda Barbosa. After finding worms and webs in a bag of food (Petco)Harley Girl had ingested twice, I was extremely concerned. I appreciate the time you spent with me, the phone calls during the exam and the follow up after we went home. You are most pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. I appreciate you. Danielle, you are also very kind, knowledgeable. I appreciate the time b4 I met Dr. Barbosa, all my questions and concerns. And you went the extra yard helping me with HG food after. I also met Chris when I called anxious to report HG eating bad food. Chris thank you for your patience and sweetness. Natasha, Always pleasant on the phone and makes my appointments with ease. Samantha was very understanding answered all my questions and then after Harley Girl was done she explained everything and even wrote everything down. My check out with Daniel always pleasant with a smile. They always know Harley girl by name this is the best Banfield in town❤
