Island Animal Hospital Marco Island, Florida

We bring our Yorkie to Marco Island Animal Hospital and are thrilled with the care he receives. Dr Buongiorno and his staff are always compassionate, understanding and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend them!

We had an emergency situation with our cat. Dr. Dave and his team were responsive immediately. His kindness, compassion and patience with the situation was exceptional! I will be forever grateful.

We were on Marco for vacation and our 6yr old Golden Retriever had a wound I thought may have been a possible dog bite from an unfriendly dog at Canine Cove. Dr. Bongiorno’s office squeezed Rowdy in and thankfully it was not a bite but a hot spot. Dr. Bongiorno and his staff were beyond kind and attentive. Thank you for caring for my little guy.

This Vet is just the best. They really care about the animals they see. I'm a local/born here and I've been to others in the area and had visits that were outrageously pricey ($2000+ to get a female cat spayed and uptodate with shots!!!!) or just apathetic staff or staff that didn't seem particularly well trained (too rough with wiggly patients, not giving the animal a moment to adjust to a new person, ect.). None of that here! With Covid restrictions I was worried for our 2 new rescue kittens that had been abused. They let me word vomit all those little worries and called to let me know how things were going (spay+shots and whatnot). They are also obviously animal lovers (seriously who goes into this field who isn't? Why? But I've seen them) and our cats never come out of an appointment stressed. They don't play games with their prices either. They are able to tell me prior to the appointment how much it will cost and it is always reasonable. You don't have to have a trust fund to get your furry family the care they deserve. I'm so happy they're here!

We had an emergency with my dog Cooper today. They squeezed him in for us and we’re very understanding. . From the front desk, assistant, to the vet himself everyone was wonderful towards us and Cooper. We will definitely be using them as our vet Thank you Island Animal Hospital

While on vacation, our 5 year old cat started to have some issues that she had never had before. We called the office and were able to be seen that day. We were treated very courteously by the front office staff and the doctor was spot on with evaluation, diagnosis, and medication to get our girl back to her old self. We very much appreciate this office and would highly recommend!!

The staff and Dr. are so kind and friendly. They were very gentle with the kitty we found. She had a break in the tip of her tail.

Dr. Bonjourno is one of the most patient vet and person. He seems to really care about his patient.

I have been taking all my animals here for years, and I wouldnt dare go anywhere else. Recently I had an emergency with my pet rat, and they got us in right away, and took the most gentle and informative care of him immediately. From dogs to cats to rats and rabbits, this group is the VERY best on the island hands down!
