Dr. Tom gave a very thorough examination for our sick pet. They go the extra mile, compared to some vet practices when you're traveling and not a regular client. Clean, accommodating veterinarian clinic. Don't hesitate to take your pet there.

Be aware that your bill will include a facility fee and a doctor fee. So don’t be surprised with a $500 bill.

Marathon Vet Hospital took great care of my two special needs cats and my bird while I was away. I highly recommend them.

Our dog has had pneumonia that was being treated at our primary vet for a few weeks. He randomly stopped eating for 4 days and our own vet could not get him in to be seen as they were unfortunately booked up. We called every vet from Key West to Islamorada but everyone was booked (understandably). So we took a chance to drive up to Marathon as we have multiple friends that use their facility and have heard nothing but good things. Wow! We were not disappointed! They found a way to work us in and all the receptionists, vet techs and doctors were beyond amazing and took care of us in our time of need. Dr. Aundria is extremely knowledgeable, professional and funny too! She genuinely listened to us and gave us peace of mind while working on a new game plan for our dog. Being from Key West it is a little bit of a drive, but it is so so so worth it!! We are very happy and excited to continue to work with them on any further needs for our boy. We cannot thank you guys enough!!

The boarding crew was amazing!! They love my crazy Tucker just as much as we do. It is refreshing knowing he is in safe and good hands. ????

I didn’t get the warm caring feeling as I did from my old vet. I’m not even sure her exam was given because I didn’t get any follow up on her. Just the blood taken and the bill mainly. The prices have gone up so much and for the time spent I don’t feel like I received the care I have in the past. I did get great service from the front desk and the assistant prior to seeing the main vet dr.

I seriously cannot express my gratitude enough for this place, I called last minute as I thought my cat had ear mites and was able to get an appointment right away. Everyone was SO nice, especially the tech Dylan-he was AMAZING! Needless to say both of my cats have a new vet. :)

They’re so nice!!! I went in 30 minutes before they closed for my kitten and they got me right in there and helped no questions. They gave me a bunch of helpful advice ,emailed me numerous links to help better care for my kitten , and has called / texted everyday since to check up & make sure she was doing ok. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for your pets.????

We have 2 dogs, very different ages. Dr. Lisa and the entire team were excellent. Listened to our unique needs, were conscientious and offered good solutions. ???? ????

Dr. Tom and the staff at Marathon Animal Hospital were absolutely wonderful! Dylan the Veterinary Technician listened to my concerns with compassion and patience, and worked with Dr. Tom to make sure my boy was cared for and all issues addressed. They followed up as promised with blood work results, and I didn't have to chase or nag them. That's rare in the Keys! If you need an amazing veterinary place for your furbabies, take them here. Professional, empathetic and handled my sick baby with gentleness and it showed in how happy and calm he was with the staff. Thank you, Dr. Tom, Dylan, Cary, Jennifer and the staff for everything!

We left our dog with Marathon Animal Hospital for the day while we spent time in Key West. Everyone was extremely kind and I was totally at ease leaving Abby with them. We will absolutely leave her with them again!

The girls there who helped us with our boys, Packer and Timmy were great. It was just a tech visit so no interaction with any of the vets that day.

While on vacation in Duck Key, our young dog became lethargic and unsteady on her feet. We frantically called the emergency vets in the area and this one was the only one that promised to see her even though they were about to close for the day. Dr. Lisa promptly assessed our dog and did bloodwork. She and her staff were very calming and professional. Happy to report that the dog is just fine! Highly recommend this very clean, welcoming office!

We were on vacation and our 6year old frenchie hurt her rear leg. She was in obvious pain and would beat no weight on it. I contacted Marathon Vet Hospital and was able to get an appt that afternoon. From making the appt on the phone, to arriving at the office, to the vet tech, Dylan, and the vet, Dr Tom our experience and level of care and compassion and knowledge was EXCEPTIONAL! So grateful to have found them and would highly recommend them!

I highly recommend this vet office. My dog had a severe injury while on vacation. The entire team was beyond helpful and compassionate. We were so thankful to have there help while away from our regular doctor.

We were on vacation and needed to have our dog seen by a vet. This office was more than accommodating and made things very easy to be seen on short notice. All of the staff were professional and we would highly recommend if we ever needed to have our dog seen again while here on vacation.

We were visiting the Keys and our dog had an emergency. Since we had used Marathon Veterinary hospital in the past, we called them to see if they could help our dog as a walk in with no appointment on a busy Saturday morning. They said no problem! We were our way home and already in Islamorada, we turned around and drove back to Marathon so our dog would have the best care. They treated him, prescribed meds and soon we were headed north again. Thank you to the staff for their friendly, professional care! Our dog is much better!

Super friendly vet and beautiful, clean facility! I am new to the area and my shih tzu needed shots. The reason I chose this vet is because I was told I could go in with my dog. That made a big difference to his visit!

I’m in the Keys for a few weeks and one of my senior dogs wasn’t feeling well I called Marathon Veterinary Hospital to ask if they could see her, they got me in the next day. I was so impressed with the kindness of everyone there, they took care of my pup and recommended a week of antibiotics and halfway through the meds she’s feeling so much better. I highly recommend Marathon Veterinary Hospital!
