Dr Riley is absolutely amazing....plain and simple.

This is such a dynamic team, so responsive and caring about my dog. You feel like a part of their family, not a customer which is so comforting. No matter the situation, we’ve been so happy with their service.

Had a great experience. Dr. Sullivan was so sweet and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Although my dog had so many needs and it was beyond my budget she was so kind to help me prioritize what was mostly needed and was not pushy at all on the cost. I am looking forward to a long partnership with this clinic as my baby girl ages. :)

I wouldn’t even know where to start. This is by far the best clinic I have ever taken any of my pets too. I’ve been going to this clinic for 17 years. I wouldn’t trust my pets anywhere else. Anytime an emergency arises, they immediately get my pets in. If for some reason there is no time availability, I’ll get into one of the other clinics. Dr. Riley is the most caring, loving doctor any pet could ever have. She treats every pet as if they were her own. There’s no way you can go wrong with her. The office and staff are also exceptional.

We just moved to the area, and have not established a vet yet. I am so impressed with this office. I called to make a new patient appointment, as my cat was vomiting. The tech got on the phone, got some info, and gave me some tips to try. He said I could call back if my guy wasn’t improving- , but low and behold, the tips worked! I got a call the next day from the office, checking on my cat- whom they have never even seen! Now THAT is service!! I will definitely be using them as my veterinarian- based on this kindness alone. Thanks.

oh my gosh, just a wonderful experience. I have 2 kitties and they were so scared and crying. Mom almost cried too..lol. We checked in quickly and we were given a room right away. The pictures on the wall were so cute and the room was very clean. When the dr came in she knew they were scared and tried to make them at ease. I cannot express how much care they take of your fur babies. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than you usual vet, but the care they take is worth it. Thank you so much and we will be back.

Dr. Dutton takes wonderful care of my sweet senior dog. The whole office is kind and professional even when they are busy.

New to the area but did my research and found a great vet hospital! You can put your faith in the hands of the Tampa Bay Animal Hospital. They have flexible hours, great staff and convenient locations. My 2 cats and dog have all visited the staff at Cheval and we could not be happier. When doing your research, make sure your vet is AAHA Accredited like Tampa Bay Animal Hospital, they are the gold standard of care!

I followed Dr. RILEY from a previous clinic and have not regretted it a minute. The doctors and staff at Cheval are just wonderful, always. Never a bad attitude nor a long wait. Everything you could want in a vet you can find here. I love this place. And the prices are the same as at other vet's around here. While it's hard to find excellence in service anymore, they have it here.

We had a superior experience with Dr. Riley and tech Alexis this week for my senior beagle's semi annual exam. Everyone was so nice to and interested in interacting with my boy. You can tell they care deeply about animals. I'm pretty sure my beagle thought he was hosting a VIP party for himself! Very clean hospital and courteous staff. Thorough but gentle exam. Bloodwork was easy breezy. I also like the digital orientation of the practice. I was able to book a non-urgent appoinment through their app easily, and I often receive test results with a note from the doc via text, which is great. I'm a super nerd dog mom who comes very prepared to appts and wants all of the details; probably no one would know that I have enormous anxiety taking my dogs to the vet. I am grateful to have found this compassionate and intelligent practice for my wonderful dogs.

From the moment we called to set up our visit the voice on the other end of the line was so kind and listened. When we walked in for the first time the staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. I hadn’t had a pet in over a decade. So when our family brought home our new pup, I wasn’t sure which vet we should take her to. After scanning posts in a local moms’ group, I saw someone else looking for vet recommendations too. Over and over, I kept seeing people say “Cheval Animal Hospital.” After our 1st appointment yesterday, I definitely see why so many people recommend it. And I will be one of those moms now giving the same recommendation. They completely exceeded any expectations I had prior. All of the staff were super sweet and professional and cared about our little Luna as if she was their own. The room they put us in had just been cleaned and our pup seemed to feel nice and comfortable there, with no noticeable fear or anxiety. The doctor was awesome too. He was very friendly and professional. He never made us feel rushed in the slightest. We had a ton of questions and he took his time to answer them all and asked us multiple times what other questions we had. And he involved my 5 year old in everything, making the experience amazing for her. He took the time to show my daughter things like what Luna’s ears and eyes look like through his vet tools. He had her listen to Luna’s heartbeat and her own, then asked her questions about the difference in heart rate, etc. It was all just an amazing experience that completely blew me away. I could keep on going, but I think I’ve said enough. If you are looking for a place to take your pet, I promise you have found the right one with Cheval Animal Hospital. Thank you to the staff for making this such a positive experience for our family. We are actually really looking forward to seeing you guys again in 3 weeks. ❤️

Absolutely the best vet I have ever seen. Have only had one appointment but have talked with the vet directly several times regarding my kitty at no extra charge. Plus she was housed in a kitty condo for hours while waiting urgent care treatment. Just a great experience overall and I really trust my cats with them.

We have been seeing Dr. Riley 3 years for our dog Mia's health care. Mia had developed serious health issues with her liver, turned out to be a large cancerous tumor. We decided to let her go Dr. Riley and the team helped with a loving, peaceful and caring transition in a beautiful quite room, gave us time to love her and say our goodbyes. I can't say enough how that meant to us Dr. Riley and the team were so caring and loving. Mia will be truly missed she was a very special girl to us we loved her with all our hearts.

The entire team at Cheval Animal Hospital is caring, takes time to listen to you and get to know your pet. We changed vets when got our English Bulldog puppy this past February, we could not be happier that we chose this group to take our Maverick to. We highly recommend this great group!

Dr Reilly is the best. She has treated 3 of my dogs and she is on my 4th and soon to be a 5th. The staff at Cheval Animal Clinic are super friendly and very helpful. We had to put down our dog unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago and they were just awesome. Very kind and compassionate. Dr Reilly has found a life long client.

We love Cheval Animal Hospital. When we had an emergency with our dog, they got us in right away as a new patient and took such good care of our pet that they became our permanent vet. They are always kind, friendly, and thorough.

I love Cheval Animal Hospital, they allow in office visits and stay in car they will come to car to get animal. They are efficient, staff talk to each other to keep staff informed of what is going on with your animal. Clean offices. Staff are helpful and friendly and never make you feel uncomfortable or worried that your pet is not getting the best care. Never over booked appointments so you are in and out office in a half hour. Love this!!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. My fur babies have been seen at the appointment time so I have not experienced any wait time. If any sort of labs have been performed, I have gotten the report when staff stated it would be ready. My vet, Courtney Riley, takes the time to explain why a lab is needed and when results return, explains what they mean. Dr. Riley has taken care of my babies for 12 years and I have been very happy with the care she has given my babies.

This practice has always been willing to help our pets whenever we needed them even on the weekends ! Would highly recommend !
