My pups got the best care by the staff! They stayed in the apartments for two nights. Yard time, baths, great care and reasonable prices. Our tech Lex, gave them exceptional care. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Booked an appointment for January in November due to no availability. They canceled 8 days before appointment with the only option of scheduling another appointment in March because they only have 2 groomers who are booked solid. Offered a free bath to help compensate the inconvenience. The lady who took the call was extremely rude and not willing to show empathy or find a reasonable resolution. Never going to go back to this company

Sadly, this place has deteriorated greatly. Within the past year or two, it’s been impossible to reach anyone by phone, voicemails are returned days later; grooming services are mediocre at best. With their prices, you’d think they could hire someone to answer the phone at least. They called the same day of my appointment to cancel after waiting weeks of waiting and can’t be rescheduled until another month out. It's unfortunate because they used to be so good. I hope their services improve because looking at their reviews from the last 5 months, it's not going well for them at all.

Not really sure what caused this business to plummet, but I’d give a negative rating if able. Our dogs have only been going for about 2 years. They don’t answer the phone, don’t return messages, don’t keep a log of who groomed and what type of grooming, cancel the day of and try to rebook you a month out, and simply do not care to improve. All they want is to charge the $75 per dog and move you along. The staff is hit and miss. The grooming is decent when you actually get to receive it although overpriced. I’m not sure how the new location is doing, but this one is no longer for our animals. We will be making a complaint with the FLDAC. The most irritating is the phone issue though. I mean….imagine your child at a daycare that never answered! How hard is it to just answer the phone consistently?

I have used BTB for 15 years. I realize they changed ownership within the past couple of years, and the service has become horrible. I always ask for a classic cut for my breed of dog, nothing unique or unusual, and they have messed it up twice. After the second time, the manager just rolled his eyes and gave me a refund, knowing it was wrong. While I understand that they are busy, we book weeks in advance, and patiently wait our turn. Then we receive a call a couple of days prior to the appointment, and told it has been cancelled, for lack of personnel or some other reason, and we can go to the back of the line to re-book. This has happened three times in the past six months. I grew weary of trying to get someone on the phone (it is rare that the phone is answered) and their website is a mess in any attempts to contact them. I will not be returning due to their inability to keep appointments, or address customer service issues. It is irrelevant if they do a good job or not if they can't even keep an appointment booked way in advance.

Really disappointed in the quality my last visit. Normally, I am extremely satisfied with how my dog is groomed but my last visit, I was not pleased. Took my dog in for a bath & de-shedding. I even opted to do added services just because I know they do a good job. I picked my dog up and I can smell just straight wet dog inside my car. Normally, she comes back smelling great and you can see how clean and shiny her coat is. Her coat had layer of loose fur, like she wasn't combed through or de-shedded. This visit was the most I ever paid to get my dog groomed and again, I was willing to pay because I knew the quality of their work. Now I'm not so sure.

Beautify the Beast is the absolute best! I bring my pups there every time I visit FL and they are just the ultimate professionals. My pups are always happy to go (despite not really liking their nails cut), the service is speedy and a great value! I could not recommend a grooming shop more!

My little guy gets excited just pulling up to this place. Update: service has gone down hill since they opened the new shop. Last time I made and appointment for 9am and my pup wasn't done until almost 4pm. Apparently they moved his appointment to the afternoon. On a separate occasion I tried to reach them, leaving a message 3 times, in regards to boarding and I never got a call back..... Until 2 days prior to his next appointment, which we have had for 2 months to cancel on us. I do not recommend Beautify the Beast.

Wow is all I can say. I’ve never been treated so poorly by staff. I have not been to the location in Lutz in quite some time as it was impossible to get anyone to answer the phone so I had been bringing my dog to another groomer. My usual groomer was booked out over a month so I thought I’d take my dog in for a bath and brush out to make sure she didn’t miss a groom. Mistake! It looked like a whole new staff and they were so unprofessional! Primarily the manager. Rude and condescending. I’m still shocked honestly. The manager at the Lutz location came out from the back and barely looked at my dog before saying she was “too matted”. Crazy. He didn’t even touch her neither did the actual groomer, and I can promise that she had little to no matting; however, isn’t that why we get our dogs groomed? My dog is a doodle. We brush her daily and get her groomed every two weeks. With that, there is always a bit of hair around the face that may mat a bit. Again, that’s why we get them groomed. He was SO RUDE. Basically, turned me away and then told me I should try brushing my dog every day. Really??? It’s annoying enough to drive out there to be turned away but then to have someone be so rude about it is too much! I told him that I thought it was total BS and he really couldn’t care less. I’m sure it’s a blessing in disguise as I’ve read some of the reviews since getting home and think we probably dodged a bullet by not getting the groom. Overall take away, I would try to avoid this place. Our pups deserve to be groomed by people that are kind and professional. I’ve included a pic of my dog, taken last night, so you can see how matted she is, lol

I had brought my dog to this groomer when she was less than a year old (she is nearly 10 now), before it was a little questionable but they did a good job so I was happy. I took Lily here recently and WOW. Total facelift, the inside of the salon was clean and smelled great. She. Came. Out. Sooooo. Cute!!! Jenn let me know how much she LOVES dachshunds which definitely won my heart. The Manager, Jarrett, was working the counter. He was very welcoming the enter time! Inside has a lot of products and cute accessories. Prices were pretty average but there were a lot of “one-of-kind” and boutique-y items. I sent Lily in and I was nervous because she can be a little.. temperamental but they said was an all star!! She even got the sweetest pink bow !!! Thanks so much y’all!

I’m going to preface this review by saying we’ve been taking our dog to this location for over a year. There’s always been an issue with them answering the phone and not returning voicemails but we’ve always been able to get an appointment and have been fairly satisfied with the grooming. So back in September, I called to make an appointment and the first availability they had was for 10/7. We received a text on 10/2 confirming the appointment was on 10/8. We never called to make this change. Tried calling the location during the week but nobody ever picked up the phone! When we take her to her new appointment, they say they only have her scheduled for a bath. We always book her for grooming, she’s a cavapoo and gets fluffy. After some back and forth they said they would fit her in but she would be there longer. After all that nonsense, I’m absolutely disappointed with her cut. They kept her there for over 5 hours and it looks like a rushed, careless job. So disappointed with everything that’s happened. Will not be taking our dog back here.

TRASH TRASH TRASH. Never answers the phone, no matter how many times you call. When they do pick up, it’s always an unpleasant interaction. Find another groomer, this place is terrible and extremely overrated.

It pains me to write this negative review, as we have been customers here for years. But the last few interactions have been terrible, so we have gone to another groomer. Not sure what has happened, the previous reviews mirror my experience. Leave message after message, no return call. I made an on-line reservation to bring my dog in on a Monday morning because he had been boarded for a week at a horse farm and I knew he would need to be groomed before I brought him home. When I got there that morning, they insisted I had no appt even though they had sent me several e-mails and texts to confirm!! The attitude of the girl at the desk was a "sorry, not sorry" attitude. Then she confesses that they have had trouble with their on-line appts! When my husband got David on the phone later he of course apologized and asked my husband to please call him right away if there was ever another problem- well, good luck with that!! After the 3rd unreturned message this week, I had to make a switch. The on-line reservation system is very user unfriendly and you can;t speak to anyone to get an appt.

Worst experience yet. I was recommended to board my 2 weimaraner puppies as per the SPCA of Tampa. Samantha is my 2 year old and she is currently a spokesdog for the Tampa association. When I took their advice and booked a reservation here for both my puppies, things started off great last week. Well, I called a total of 4 times, emailed 4 times, sent 3 messages on Facebook messenger and not one person called back or communicated. Who in their right mind would blame Covid for not responding for over a week. I have since filed a complaint with the States Attorneys Office and I also cancelled the appointment. I notified the SPCA of this business's lack of communication and behavior and they will cease recommendations and referrals. Very sad!

My dog has been going to Beautify the Beast for over 3 years now. The staff is wonderful there. Ms. Didi treats my dog as her own. He loves to see her and the staff is so loving. He goes in looking like a beast and comes out looking like a Prince!

Our bich-poo was in horrible shape. Our regular groomer suffered an injury and we waited for her to heal and, six months later, she is still healing and may never groom again. In the meantime, our girl (who won't let us trim her and wiggles dangerously every time we try) was matted everywhere, right down to her skin in most places. We took her to a place near us and they wouldn't take her because the matts were sooo bad! But the groomer from Beautify the Beast took a good 5 mins just talking to me, asking questions and getting an idea of what we wanted. I picked her up a few hours later at closing and had the groomer still been there I think I would have hugged her! Our girl was beautiful and her coat was healthy. Clipped short but not shaved, just like I asked. Perfect!!!! Thank you so much, guys...you are awesome!

I have been taking my 15 year old poodle Molly to Beautify the Beast for years. Molly is so relaxed going in to the shop that she would jump into the groomer's arms. She has never been nervous when I pick her up ... she feels good and looks good. The groomers there truly love what they do and I am grateful.

After a visit to the vet, who deemed our Chihuahua overly aggressive and would not allow her groomer to trim Vinny's nails, we were concerned. But David, with the patience of a saint and calming demeanor, trimmed Vinny's nails quickly and painlessly! My husband and I are so relieved that this visit went so well for our rescue pup. All of the staff we met were great and helpful! We will definitely be back!

We've been boarding and having our dogs (a Papillion and a Pomeranian) groomed here since we moved to the area 4 years ago. They are always great and very understanding about special care instructions for your pet.
