Love the staff at Markham Woods Animal Hospital! They make our dog Tebow feel comfortable even though he gets nervous at the vet. Great service, highly recommend!

My friend was there taking her pet who was very sick and I know that it was a last minute emergency. My friend always speaks highly of this Veterinarian but I was sitting in the Lobby area the staff and doctors talk loud and some things should be kept private or confidential I heard one of the nurses say to the doctor about my friend only having half of the money to pay for the emergency services provided for my friend’s pet and I know they were referring to my friend because she texted me and said her dog’s bill was over 600 and she only had a half the doctor said I don’t go around giving free services what does she think this is a free clinic and then asked the nurse what services have we done just charge her for those listen that is so VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL I walked out to wait in the car thank God my friend’s mom sent her the other half to pay for all the services needed. Markham Woods have a terrible disrespect to it’s clients and their pets you care more about money than the well-being of the pets. Even if she did have half why not work with her to assure the safety and well-being of her pet. Cold people why get into the profession of caring for pets with no compassion I know you have to make money but being insensitive and not understanding my friend’s situation was COLD and HEARTLESS and last thing my friend heard the same remarks while waiting in the exam room smh

I would highly recommend Dr. Pentek to anyone for the care of their pet. She is very professional and knowledgeable as well as very caring. We had the unfortunate circumstance of a beloved pet with an aggressive form of cancer. Dr. Pentek helped guide us through treatment from specialists and in making difficult decisions. She was very generous with her time and advice which was so much appreciated!

Thank you so much for taking great care of my two cats when I brought them in for their teeth cleaning. (Unlike Dogs, cats require general anesthesia). Thank you for calling me during their procedures to give me an update and discuss course of treatment. We love you!

I’ve taken all my dogs here for 26 years. Thru original ownership and the current Dr Pentak for over 20 years I think. I once tried another Vet. Came right back because of distance. I trust Dr Pentak. They know my dogs. They care. Highly recommend them. 25 years should tell you something.

Our dog is doing so much better after being treated at Markham Woods Animal Hospital. We highly recommend this caring group of professionals. They were so were friendly and very thorough. Dr. Pentek was great. We are so happy to have found great animal care.

The staff can be very rude at times.I picked my pets medicine up Thursday night around 5.Which is medicine I have got several times before from themIt's nothing special they keep it in stock. So I was told.I gave him one pill Friday evening about 8And I found him dead Saturday morning at 4 a.m..I took him to Markham Woods Animal Clinic through range for cremation and ask for a refund on my medicineMedicine just purchased on Thursday evening.I was told they had to check with the manager and would let me knowThis rude office staff person called me back and said she was an office manager and that there is no refundShe tried to say it was against the law and that is not true from what I'veThe statements from the manager truly BSIt's all about the money thereBut also They show no no compassion

I called because of the convenient location. My family and I just adopted our dog Dobie. We were able to get in the same morning which was great! The staff was kind, friendly and very professional. The facility was very clean. Dobie was a happy camper while he was there even after getting a shot. We had a great first vet appointment for our little Dobie.

Dr. Pentek and her staff are very experienced and diagnosed my cat quickly and accurately making sure he had the best care available.

I am so happy we chose Markham Woods Animal Hospital when we brought our puppy home over two years ago. On the few occasions she was not feeling well we were able to get an appointment right away. She has had all her well visits there, been spayed there, and has occasionally been day boarded. Layla loves going there, which makes me feel good! Very happy with all staff, so friendly and helpful!

First-rate care for our fur babies. We've been coming here for close to 20 years. The doctor and staff are very professional and have always given are fur babies excellent Health Care and vaccinations and exams. The facility is always clean and well-lit with appropriate room in the waiting area so you don't have to sit close to somebody with a different animal. We are always moved promptly back to the exam room and service is always timely In addition to being very professional the entire staff is always empathetic and very helpful with after procedure instructions and follow up.

They take good care of my 5 dogs. I recommend this place to care for your pets.

I have been taking my dog to see Dr Pentek for 6 years now and she is an amazing veterinarian. Her staff is always very friendly and accommodating and everything is always explained up front. I have no hesitations recommending her or her animal hospital. I also oftentimes board my dog there when I'm on vacation and I am very pleased with that service as well.
