Great Vet! The staff is lovely, and very friendly. They went above and beyond to help my puppy feel comfortable!

Where should I start? Dr. Riviera is excellent and awesome but the vet techs are awful. I have dealt with 4 different vet clinics across states ( due to job we move states ) and each one of them are awesome and so soothing to deal with. As a pet parent you leave your piece of heart with them and if they are so mannerless and rude with someone who can talk I can’t even imagine what they do to my baby behind close doors. First they fought with me for giving my pup Corona Vaccine which is not a mandatory vaccine in Florida- they said vet won’t see my pup without it but no explanation why- Dr. Riviera never bought it up when we met him. Then comes the tone of talking and most importantly they administered injection WITHOUT my knowledge to my pup- I never gave them permission to give my pup injection but they DID. Dr. riviera was not aware or what I have no idea but when we told him he was apologized. Now behold - second time happened again without asking us. We found out after we got the prescription. I cannot trust them anymore with my pup. Now, when ai asked them to transfer my pup’s medical reports to the new clinic they behaved very bverudely.

They truly do care. My dog got sick, I called half an hour before closing and they were able to get him in and care for him. They are compassionate. The staff is amazing and Dr Rivera is truly one of a kind. They don’t make you feel rushed. It’s hard to find good, caring staff as well as the vet but you have it all here.

Awesome staff and doctor! Dr Rivera is one of the rare vets these days that absolutely loves his practice and in all honestly I believe he would continue to practice regardless of money. He became a vet because he has a gift and love for animals that your pet and everyone he meets will feel immediately. He has been out vet for over 15 years and looked after our great Danes from the first day as puppies as they grew up and had puppies and until the very very end. He had become very attached to our male great Dane as well and was right along side my fiance and I on the night we had to put him down. Doc sat and cried right along with us. You will not find a vet with a bigger heart and has the knowledge to go with it as well. You will not be disappointed and you can rest asure your fur babies will have the most compassionate care anywere.

They truly are animal lovers. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if you have to have your animal cared for they care for them like you would.

This place is absolutely TERRIBLE I do not recommend it all I went to go take my dog keep in mind I had made an appointment the day before and they did not take him. They said that he wasn’t in the system, they probably didn’t even check they looked at the computer for 2 seconds. And I mean if you’re going to work somewhere you could at least be social they didn’t even say hi or good morning they didn’t even look our way.

So we called the clinic one day and they told us to drop him off in the morning so that’s what we did because my dog has severe dermatitis. And when we got there they didn’t ven look at us everyone was rude and the didn’t even take my dog in. Since people are not allowed in the store you have to call them but they never answer the phone. So if you have a choice I don’t recommend i.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. My dog has severe dermatitis and was starting to have really bad rashes so we took him to the clinic. We had already brought him here before and it was great but this time apparently they couldn’t find them in their system and they ended up not even giving him the meds we asked them too. So if you have a choice don’t come here

We have been with this clinic for six months. They really care about their customers and their pets. They give you as much guidance as you need. They are all cheerful and love what they do. Really go above and beyond. I highly recommend them

I have a lab/mix rescue dog who is very jumpy and hard to handle. The staff and Dr. Rivera make it look easy to deal w him. I don't know how they do it!! They are beyond compassionate, and skillful. I just don't have enough words to thank them.

This vet is all about the money be careful if you are choosing this vet. I wanted to board my dog (2) , which are up to date on all shots but they wanted me to do their shots ( and I had all the paperwork for their shots ) which ment it was going to cost me over $700 to bord them for 3 days

My 16+ year old Jack Russell, Beau finally indicated to me it was his time. I called all the vets in the area around 10am but it would be a half a day before we could get in. Dr. Rivera was booked and had a flight to catch at 2pm but still fit me in, and he is not even my vet! (he is now, for life) Both him and Chris were beyond professional. They are great people, and both agreed, it was his time. So glad Beau was taken care of by them.

Kind, welcoming people. They explained every detail of my pets medication. Answered every question. Mostly importantly, they made my pet feel comfortable enough to do what they needed to do.

Stefanie at the front desk was amazing. Very compassionate about my sick kitty. Work hard to get her in for surgery with the vet.

Always so kind and great to our dog

First of all, I want to say that the technicians were all very kind and and caring with my puppy. Pricing was reasonable. This is why I didn't feel the as though giving a lower rating was fair. That being said, I was very upset when the veterinarian felt the need to tell me that my puppy was deformed (he is from a slow maturing line and going through an awkward phase). My puppy is beautifully and responsibly bred by a very esteemed AKC breeder judge. His breeder has been awarded AKC Herding Group breeder of the year, and often judges at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club dog show as well as the Royal Canin AKC National Championship. He comes from Champion OFA tested and certified parents, from a long history of Champion OFA tested and certified animals living well into their teens. The vet is absolutely entitled to his opinion, but I felt a line was crossed. He made it clear he does not like show lines and feels they are crippled. He also felt the need to show me an article originating from a known anti show line radical animal activist to prove his point. Everyone in my breed is aware of this article and the hatred towards show lines that it perpetuates. I cannot give a lower rating despite how upset I am with how I was treated and how my puppy was viewed, because the clinic clearly cares about the animals and the pricing is very reasonable.

This was our first visit with this office as we just moved to the area and I am so happy we found them! The staff was so amazing with my pup and the Dr. was excellent! I have been to previous veterinary offices where they did not handle Huskies well and this office was just the total opposite! My boy used to get so nervous at our previous vet and here he just seemed so relaxed and comfortable. Thank you so much Fishhawk Animal Clinic for your excellent care!

Very courteous and attentive service

Very nice and attentive to you and your pets needs. Diagnosed my dog with cancer today and you could tell it hurt them as much as it hurt us. Highly recommend them.

Had used em when they were "FH Vet" at Bryant and 640. Fantastic peeps & professional. Highly recommend.
