Dr. Howell and his staff are incredible with my 3 Boston Terriers. My family has gone to him for years and he truly does LOVE our babies. It really shows and his knowledge is limitless. They are always there for my pups and me.

My cats and dogs have received excellent care from the doctor and staff over the past 20 years. Very kind people who love animals.

I can’t enough good things about Dr. Howell and his staff. My greyhound was injured. I went to Blue Pearl after work. I sat for five hours, and when I checked with them was told it would be another hour and a half for her to be seen, despite the fact that mine was the only car in the parking. We left without her being seen. Needless to say I’ll never go back The next morning I called Dr. Howell’s office. He postponed 4 surgeries in order to work us in first thing in the morning. It turned out that Rosie had a 6 inch laceration on her side which Dr. Howell cleaned and sutured. He prescribed pain pills and antibiotics. She has done really well. I can’t thank Dr. Howell and staff enough for the wonderful service and excellent care. I highly recommend that you take your pets there.

Thank you very much for your honesty, the last vet told me my baby's exray showed she had a fatal problem with her lungs! Your exray determined that was a lie. They also told me she had an infected tooth, you also showed me that was a lie! Thank you, so much!

Dr. Howell and Anneke are the best! Our cat Scout had a urinary blockage and Dr. Howell took the time to treat him and would squeeze us in to check on him when needed. Scout really responded to the laser therapy and loved the staff every time he went. He recently had stomach issues and we were met with more amazing service. They were able to give him back to us in amazing shape. Our other cat currently has a UTI and they have been amazing with him as well. He has not responded well to the antibiotics he was given and they were quick to find a solution. The whole team at Midway has always been amazing and helpful, we are always met with kindness. They are definitely the best in town! I also love the continued COVID precautions in place since it is hard to tell who is vaccinated and who isn't, as well as with the Delta variant spreading. The wait times are very reasonable during busy times, and I don't mind waiting longer if it means my pet is getting the best quality care. I feel very safe here and I feel very comfortable leaving my pets in their care!

Horrible place to take the pet you love, they make you wait outside in your car with the covid mask on, and how does anyone know if the attention for your pet is given when you are left outside and they come and get your pet, it's like a third world country vet. The are slow and rude and liers first the lady which came out to our car, stated that they tell all pet owners that they must wait outside, no one said that when we made the first call. It is a very shady place and I feel for the pet owners how many can be so gullible. They also have the nerve to write back on my review that I wrote a hyperbolic review instead of explaining why they make you wait outside in your car with the air condition running, wearing a mask, waiting for them to take your pet from you to do what god knows, while the governor of Florida had restrictions abolished weeks ago and I had by two covid shots it's not be being hyperbolic it's the owners of Midway being paranoid. Imagine they take the word of CDC who has lied to the American people.

Unrealistic Covid restrictions still in place despite the fact that everyone working inside has had the opportunity to be vaccinated. We have a dog with poor nerves that needs to be seen for a growth on his ear. He is 100+ lbs. We have brought him here before and the whole staff was great. This time they were unprofessional and down right rude. We pulled up outside and they told us the staff would be out to retrieve our dog. I told them that wouldn't be possible. My husband needed to bring him in.. this should be in his notes .. the response to that was my husband would need to wear a mask. Unfortunately my husband is a combat military veteran with a medical exemption due to lung issues...this on top of the fact he has been vaccinated should have been enough to allow some understanding and compassion. It was not ..they refused to see our dog. I dont know what we are going to do and I am beyond upset that Midway Animal Hospital is putting unrealistic fear over helping our dog. Shame on you...and don't bother banning us from your establishment like you do everyone else that leave a negative review of their experience with Midway because we will definitely not be back. * in response to your reply, I told you our dog is 115lbs, he almost weights the same as myself practically. Only my husband is strong enough to hold him down for temp checks and to exam him. If you have all been vaccinated and are still terrified of human interactions then to what end does your practice ever return to normal?

Dr Howell has been my vet for over 25 years. He is the most compassionate Vet I have ever met and I recommend him every chance I get

Dr. Howell is as good as they get! Been taking our pets there for 15+ years and the entire staff has always treated the pets and us with respect. Doc even met me at his office on a holiday just to go over test results. Amazing!

Midway A.H. is awesome! The Tech's were all compassionate & diligent, as was Dr. Howell who absolutely rocks! I went to see him for a second opinion, after having a less than par experience with another local vet. I didn't know what vet protocols were in place amidst the COVID 19 craziness ... But the vets all ask you to remain in your car & a Tech comes out to greet you. The Tech will ask for the specifics of why you brought your pet in & then escort your pet into their facility. So you are at the mercy of a game of Telephone, to get your pets needs relayed to the Dr. And at some Vet. Clinics you don't even get to talk to the Dr. after they are done! Not the case at Midway! The Tech's took their time doing the intake & asked all the right questions. Then when Dr. Howell had completed his exam, he comes out to your car and speaks with you in person. In my case, it was not a good prognosis, but Dr. Howell could not have been more compassionate in his delivery & took the time to go over & explain in detail, exactly what my options were and how to go about it. I can not praise him enough for his knowledge & gentle manner! All that for a $65 consultation fee!

My dog can be a bit loud and scare people but they have always treated him normally and it's very appreciated
