I called on a Friday afternoon looking for any availability to groom my cat before the holidays, and East Bay Animal Hospital was the only one around that had an opening before. Sophia was amazing and took great care of my baby. Called me after she did an initial evaluation with a game plan for approval and got to work. I picked my baby up looking amazing and smelling great with a cute little bandana on! I will only be getting her groomed here moving forward.

DR Moore and her staff have done so much for me and my 3 fur babies their prices are great and she really will do everything possible to help your babies. No matter how busy they get they still continue to show great compassion Barb up front is so sweet and always helpful when it comes to scheduling apts around my crazy work/school schedule. Thanks for all that you guys do!

Do not trust this business! My elderly father had arranged to board his dog here while on a trip. On the day he had arranged to drop her off, there was nobody at the business and nobody answering the phone. He tried for several hours before realizing he was gonna need a “plan B”. Fortunately we were able to find another place that would take her on short notice. But not after experiencing a great deal of anxiety and frustration. If this is the way they run their business, I can only imagine the (lack of) care your pet would receive here.

The vet and employees were super nice. Was willing to make payment arrangements. They treated me and my cat extremely well. I would recommend to others.

Dr Moore and her whole staff if stellar! I love that they love my Chloe, her kittens and our pups Cassie and Toby almost as much as we do. Can't ask for a better set of animal Heros!

My dog Stella had suddenly started having super red paws and jowls and was clearly in pain. I called the vet she had been going to and they declined to see her for a week but said they would give me some pills and that should do it. I called East Bay and they showed genuine concern and got her in ASAP. They did a blood test which the other vet never offered. Found out what she was allergic too and immediatly started a treatment. I felt as though they cared about my pet as much as I do. Very happy with the results.

STAY FAR AWAY!! If you care about your pets well being, please consider taking them elsewhere. I fear for the pets here. I truly hope they are investigated.

They called me in the morning regarding a position that I applied for, I called back within the hour and no one answered. I have other priorities so when I called them back at 4, they revoked the offer because I didn’t call back in time. Very rude and disrespectful to say the least. The attitude that the receptionist had towards me was extremely distasteful. They said they would keep me in mind in case the person they hired didn’t work out... I am thankful that I have self respect and value myself and I declined their offer. I have never had a potential employer treat me this way so I thought I would share my experience with you all. I have also reported them on indeed. I am grateful that I will not work for a company that treats people of the community this way... if this is how they treat pet parents and potential candidates I wonder how they treat animals behind closed doors.. I will be letting my fellow vet tech classmates and professors know about my experience with this company/location today. Lastly, right after all this I’m super excited that I was offered another position at a different animal hospital with such kind and considerate staff. I heard from other people that this place has a high turnover and heard some not so nice things from people who have taken their pets in the past so glad I really dodged this place!

When we first started going here it was great, however things have recently changed. Took my Maltese puppy in for a groom. She was matted and the groomer told me that she's have to be shaved. Not unusual, as this has happened in the past with other dogs I've had. She then proceeds to tell me that because the dog still has her puppy fur that she doesn't know how her hair will grow back in and that it might grow back in splotchy. At first I agreed to let her shave it, but changed my mind after driving home and thinking about it. I called to ask her not to shave it that close and she hesitantly said okay. The groomer didn't hang up the phone and proceeds to complain to another employee about the situation. I heard their entire conversation, called back and told them I would be picking up my dog. If you have to shave a dog so close to the skin that their hair may not grow back, should you really be grooming dogs? Probably not. I will not be bringing my dog back here to go to their groomer & we will also be finding a new vet. The last time I brought my dog in for her last round of shots I told the vet I'd considered breeding & she went on a very opinionated tangent with little factual basis. Very disappointed in the staff of East Bay Animal Hospital. We will NOT be back.

We have been taking our 2 dogs here for many years and they really care about them. They where very busy today and our older dog was bad off and they still found a way to take her in and stayed late and helped her a lot, great Vet and I highly recommend them!

I have boarded my dogs there before and no problems!!! This time not do good. I sent two little dogs with 4 lbs of dry food and one little bella container for one dog that will only eat the dry with a spoon. On the dry. Well in 2 days all the food except one cup of dry was left!!!!!! Now I can't get the one who likes a spoon of wet on her dry to eat anything because they had to have fed her all wet!!!!!!!!!! I can't stand people who don't follow directions!!!! Quite upset!!!!!!!

when your dogs let you know they're uncomfortable with the groomer and you go to visit and move that and groom all in the same location and your dogs are happy then you need to keep your dogs in an environment where they truly care about your pet or pets. A private groomer told me about this place because my old dog has health issues and that if anything had gone wrong during grooming she would be well taken care of because she's already in an environment where doctors and nurses are.

EB vet hospital has a kind and courteous staff that care hugely for your pets. The vet is gracious and efficient. My dog gets groomed every 2 months and they have to anesthetize him. They take excellent care of him and always seem glad to see him.

10 STARS! Thank you to Ms. Barb, Ms.Julia, & Dr Moore. Our baby Snow, born 11/11 had a skin ‘goings on’ , on her ears. I am sooo thankful for their prompt help. I was stressed at calling as this time in scheduling due to the covid ???? but all the steps in scheduling, meeting outside the office, pick up, the whole process was done with the greatest of ease. I am forever ♾ grateful ! This isn’t the first time my 4 legged family member and ???? paw’tner has been treated by this great office. They treated my guinea pig. I am grateful they are close by my home, open, cautions with the covid ans gave follow care when serving their patient population ???? during this time. ????, ???? Payment and options were well versed as well as ????, explained meds were done with care. Thank you again staff!
