I've used multiple pet boarding businesses in Sarasota-Bradenton and Bayside is hands down the best in the area. They are very good about your pets needs, eating habits, medications and definitely go above and beyond the norm. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for day or overnight boarding for their pet.

Aubrey is a terrific cat groomer. She is very knowledgeable and cares so much about cats. My baby's hair cut looks great!

The dogs love the place. Front desk ops are a little flighty at times but we feel good about leaving the "kids" there.

Best experience for our family and our beloved Jack! Staff and management were 100% committed to making sure we were at ease leaving our dog for six days for a family funeral. We were even updated with texts and photos during our time away. Can’t thank them enough for making our trip less stressful. We will recommend and utilize Bayside Pet Resort in the future!

Friendly staff and many boarding options. A little pricey but worth it.

We were really happy with the attention and service our pooch received while staying at Bayside Lakewood Ranch in June 2021. Our pup Luna stayed for 5 nights. When we went to visit the place in advance and make the reservation, the front desk folks were very friendly & helpful. Liam showed us around the place and answered all our questions. He was friendly and we could tell he likes animals. When booking we wanted the Polo room which came with nightly tuck in service, but none we available so we booked the Oasis room instead. We wanted the tuck-in service and we were willing to pay for it separately, but they were kind enough to comp us for it since the Polo rooms were all taken! I watched my pup on webcams the whole time. Someone came in every night to tuck her in and rub her belly! On the forms I told them to give her a certain treat once a day and they did never missed a day. One day we had Luna scheduled for 1/2 a day of daycare, but we saw on the webcam that she was having tons of fun. We called and asked that she be allowed a full day of daycare instead and they had no problem accommodating. Luna also loved playing in their pool. They gave her a bath the morning we were to pick her up and called us when she was done. When we got there, they knew what dog I was talking about when I told them we were there to pick up Luna! Luna came out happy, tail wagging and did not seem uncomfortable nor anxious. We used this place while we were vacationing on Anna Maria Island. If we lived closer, I would use this place regularly, even just for daycare. Boarding for that length of time and the activies we planned were not cheap, but they weren’t outrageous. After all you get what you pay for and I am more than happy with the services received for the price I paid. Thank you so much for taking great care of my Luna!

My fir baby was stressed after coming hime....looking at the videos, the wrong toys and bedding were out in with her. And after her bath there, our regular groomer had to spend over 2 hours combing tangles out. She was far from "abused"... but just didn't get the care I had expected. And it took 3 days before she was herself.

OMG! The service fantastic!The General Manager Phenomenal. The facility clean, inviting. The accommodations for the animals Top Shelf in every aspect!! 5 stars isn't enough!!

Great place for your pet to run around and play with other dogs. Would give more stars if i could.

Grooming is great here. When my pup has to stay over night, this also my preferred place for my furry family member.

My shy, fearful Foxhound was treated very well by a highly professional staff. When we arrived for daycare, staff took the time to come and sit with her on the floor, comforting her and assuring her. They knew just how to handle her - worth every penny!

They are great with animals, and very courteous.

I have just started taking my Havanese for doggie-daycare here (he’s been there four times so far) and I am very pleased with the facilities and people and the hours and the experience overall. I will continue to bring my pup for daycare (and watch him on the Internet! To see him enjoying his time with his ‘play-group’). ❤️????????‍♀️???? In the future I expect we’ll also use training programs and boarding here. Update - regular visits for doggy daycare and now also groomer (Chelsea). All good!

All you have to do is stop by this amazing resort and see how happy the dogs are playing outside. Such a friendly staff who really cares and loves what they do.

This is such an easy review. This place is top notch, professional and accommodating. My pup always has an amazing time he’s here, he’s always excited to go.

We take our dog here 2 or 3 times a week and it is excellent. Clean and friendly! Highly recommend!!!

I can't say enough great things about Jean and the team at Bayside! We have a large, older dog. After trying many of the local boarding options, someone recommended Bayside, and we are so glad they did. Though its always very busy, they provide a personalized, enjoyable experience that makes me feel comfortable leaving my pooch. Before our first stay they offered a free tour of the facility, which is amazing. Each stay is tailored to your wants; what kind of suite? Group play in the pool every day, or personal time with your pup? How about a bath, tooth brushing, and nails done before they come home? (if you get a bath on the last day you get late pick-up). All meds are given per instruction. A big bonus is that there is a vets office right next door, which really puts your mind at ease if you have an older furbaby, or one with health issues. Most importantly, by far, is that they treat your pet like family. My boy doesn't eat well when boarding, so what did they do his first stay? They gave him some special attention and cottage cheese and yogurt to make sure he had something in his tummy. That's just one example of many that shows they truly care for our dog. Give them a call and check it out. You'll be happy you did!

Bayside is amazing, the staff cares for your pup as if it was there own. Our Swiss Shepherd stayed for 9 days, we were able to watch her whenever we wanted via video app. Highly recommend.

My pup LOVES Bayside Pet Resort at Lakewood Ranch. She has been going to daycare about once a week since August. If I mention daycare she goes NUTS! She is a high energy dog and she comes home exhausted. She has also had her nails trimmed and she won the Halloween contest and earned a little spa bath. We are super happy with EVERYTHING, including the staff. Every time I have called, they have been more than helpful. They also always remember her which makes me feel extra comfortable leaving her there. Direct quote: “Oh Layla goes with the big dogs. I remember her wiggle butt”. Would definitely recommend to ALL dog owners! Actually have referred a few friends already!
