There is no doubt this vet is the best in my book! Honesty and they really know how to do things when it comes to your pet..

Don't go here !! Overpriced uncaring vet. They were so rough with kitten. The Dr. didn't even touch him because I wouldn't pay the 500 he wanted They sent me home spending over 200 for meds and my baby died on my chest 3 hours later.

Very helpful and great customer service

Great staff! I have been taking my dogs here ever since moving to Florida in 2015. 5 litters of puppies have been seen by the staff there, everyone is so knowledgeable and courteous.

First time calling to ask a few questions and the lady who finally came On phone was rude ;/ I’m big on customer service and she had any ! Not a good look for a new customer ! Some people get jobs to get paid . And some people like what they do and it shows !! Anywho I Did hear the Dr is Great !

My baby, Elphaba was having terrible ear pain on Christmas Eve. Dr. Ireland and his staff allowed me to come in even though they were packed full of clients. Thank you all again for taking care of my baby.

The doctor and nurse are very caring with my pet making sure that he get checked and get the right medication.

I was a loyal customer of this Vet for years but each time the service has just gotten worse and worse. The women at the front desk have become rude and irritable. I waited 3 hours for a basic nail trim and heart worm test and was never seen. I asked multiple times if I was going to be seen today or if I needed to leave and come back another time. I was not the only one waiting this long and so rudely spoken too. I left and was seen immediately by another veterinarian in Lakeland. I’m very disappointed and sad because I once did adore this clinic.

Incredible friendly Vet & Staff.

I took my cat in for an emergency visit today. I am a new client and had no appointment the staff was curtious and helpful. I did not wait long and was in and out within an hour. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend.

They are still on strict covid procedures. It's very busy. You will have to wait awhile. They took good care of my baby when I took her.

REALLY!!! disappointed yesterday...our 15 yr old dog has been in the care of Dr Irelan's office since he was 12 wks old. Shadow was clearly failing, so we arrived by 8a as a 'walk-in' and waited until after noon to be seen (4+hrs). I realize that we did NOT have an appt and needed to be patient. I signed the paperwork to euthenize as soon as we arrived and explained that he needed to be put down asap. Long story short - Shadow died on the table before ever receiving the shot. It was horrible to see him suffer for so long.......

I would not recommend this place at all. We took our healthy 6 month old puppy to get neutered Nov. 12. My wife got a call a couple hours later and was told he had a reaction to the anesthesia and died. Was told they were sorry and if she had any questions. We were broken hearted. We went to pick his body up and they had him in just an old used shipping box and the lid was open. The asked if we wanted it closed which was a dumb question. No we are so sorry are anything. I e-mailed them but never got a response. Very cold hearted and uncaring. What I have noticed is they are overcrowded with people bringing in their pets and are neglecting some pets. I truly believe if Sherlock was monitored properly he would be alive today. I think with them it is more about how much money they can make so they take on as many patients as they can and some poor pets are being neglected. I would have given zero stars but unable to do so. RIP Sherlock

PLEASE DONT TAKE DOG HERE. We brought our lab in for a exploratory surgery, was consulted by a young Dr.Ashley very nice! NEVER KNEW DR.IRELAN would be performing our surgery!! Under our impression and heard from he had retired!! So THIS SUPPOSEDLY RETIRED OLD MAN did an exploratory on my dog and stated to me he was okay to go home. 3 days later I noticed my dog bloating so I call the office and spoke with Dr.Irelan himself and he simply brushed me off basically! I got home to my dog nearly passed out and dripping from his incision site, I rushed him to another vet and my dog had been bleeding internally!!! Upon trying to save my dog the emergents vet also still found foreign material in my pets intestines, said there was so much blood they could never see where’re exactly where the bleeding was coming from and that with that he passed in surgery. So after telling this to Irelan’s office and getting documentation from the other vet “large amount of free flowing blood present upon incision of abdomen, was unable to find the bleeding and dog went into cardiac arrest” we wait for a respond. So after speaking to them once again they tell me they can’t refund me the full amount because the cause of death was unclear and they don’t think they have anything to do with it. They say we will give you $850 of $2500 because anything over $1000 looks bad on the Dr.license and we have to turn it into insurance.BULCRAP! PLEASE DONT TAKE ANIMALS HERE. The fact that these people can sleep at night after doing stuff like this is just sick in my opinion.

very good, we waited in our car until it was our turn to be seen. They were very good with our dogs. They were also very reasonable priced.

I've been reading through some of the google reviews, and I am shocked at some of these so called long term clients that have bad reviews. Some say they have been going to Doc for 10+, 20+ years but as I go though the reviews I see no good reviews only this one bad review. So you mean to tell me that you have been going to him for all these years and have been satisfied all this time but one bad experience and that is the one time that they choose to voice their opinion. As a long term client of Doc I must say Dr. Irelan and his staff have never disappointed me. Yes of course there have been times where I may not have agreed all the way with a diagnosis but me not being a a person that went to college for veterinary medicine or having 40+ year experience (as most of the people writing bad reviews must have done) went with Docs plan and in the end my baby was brought back to health. I'm not saying that the clinic is perfect that that none of the bad reviews aren't justified, but in my experience Doc knows his stuff and his staff have always treated my pets as their own, they are excited to see them, know them by name, know me by name as I walk in the door, when seeing one tech other techs have gone by seen my little "Paco" and will peek their head in just to tell him hello. I've sat with other clients and have heard life saving stories. Have seen the tech cry with clients when its time for their baby to go over the rainbow bridge. Again no where is going to be perfect all the time but this place is amazing. And the knowledge that Doc has you just don't find that everywhere.. Love this place, and please don't let the bad reviews scare you off.

I love this place because they are very friendly, their rates are reasonable and they'll email you to remind you when it's time for your dog to get shots, or any other service needed. So rather than me worrying about when he needs to be seen they do that for me. And when they send you that email you can schedule right on that email. I've been taking my dog their for about 5 yrs now, and that's where I will continue to take my baby.

I've had fabulous encounters every time! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, paying attention to detail. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.

They came and got my dog even when she didn't have an appointment. They all are working really hard. Thank you for the care. Unfortunately , bella died, but that was because she had liver problems
