We were leaving food for a stray, male cat on our porch. We came home after a weekend out-of-town and the kitty was laying on the porch with the skin missing from his left hip. Even though they were understaffed and super busy, Privileged …

I have been taking my pets here for years. They are kind, reliable, and affordable. I'm so lucky to have found them.

Yoda, my decker rat terrier got very sick after visiting another vet for his annual check up and shots. We waited in that office over two hours even though we had an appt. Two days later Yoda got sick, started coughing and throwing up. FIVE DAYS WORTH!! I found Privileged Critters Animal Hospital via Google (Google knows everything) and Google was spot on with this clinic. They arranged to see him ONE HOUR after my calling them for the first time! They actually treated him as of he were their personal animal. Two days later I was still concerned and once again they had me bring him in immediately. It was like we were already old friends. And the doctor took him time, made sure ALL of my questions were answered where I understood them. He NEVER rushed me. And after this treatment I was not shocked at all that they called me the next day to check on Yoda and see how he was responding to the treatment. WHO DOES THIS!!?!?!? I can not recommend this clinic and all staff with enough praise to match my appreciation. Since I’ve been singing their praises to everyone I know, I am finding out they have used Privileged Critters and are just as happy. So for anyone reading this who may be on the fence, don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed but probably shocked with the high level of care they give to the animals as well as setting the owner’s mind at ease!!!!

Took my dog a moth ago due to allergies and was given cytopoint and antibiotic. The rash has not gone away, not the vets fault. (Very nice at the time) I just took her back and told vet medicine didn’t clear her up. Vet got on phone and I could barely understand him and he kept asking me how I wanted to treat her. I finally said “I’m not the fng doctor, you tell me what she needs. He said don’t cuss at me. What a joke. Will never be back

Was super freaked out about my cat having a possible urinary issue and they got me in right away even though they were busy and made me feel so much better. I know my little Dobby was in great hands and I’ll definitely continue with them :)

My daughter took her kitten there because she was sick..they said they didn't know what was wrong with her. The kitten became sicker more lethargic, vomiting and wouldn't eat so they took her back this morning. The vet did not do an xray after my daughter told him that she had been coughing. He gave her antibiotics and then told her I wouldn't work?! The cat was very lethargic and all you did was give her iv fluids! We called and spoke to the owner and let her know we were not happy and they called my daughter back to do an xray but my daughter was so upset and already on her way to the 24 hour emergency vet so she told them no..the lady..we think her name was Brenda laughed at my daughter!! Seriously !! The cat is now in ICU with pneumonia!! On oxygen and an iv and antibiotics. They are having a gi specialist check her as long as she stable overnight to see why she's vomiting. Because again my daughter told them she had vomited up some tinsel from one of her toys but they didn't even check her abdomen or her lungs!! So tell me who is going to help with this huge medical bill because you sent her home to die! You all should be ashamed of yourselves for not caring for her and the lady for laughing! This is not over..our cats are our family and the negligence is will not be left alone!

As someone who looks up to veterinarians and what they do in their profession I am extremely displeased about events taking place in this office yesterday. My sister was sent home with her extremely ill kitten yesterday and unfortunately due to the negligence of whatever incompetent team of staff you had on duty 7/22/2021 the kitten passed away very early this morning while in the care of an amazing and dedicated team of true veterinary professionals who did their job and did everything they could to save her. I’m appalled that a seemingly experienced and well reviewed vet would look at a kitten that could barely hold its head up and not do everything in their power to diagnose and treat the illness. Due to the malpractice and seemingly uncaring attitude of the vet at the time, this poor kitten lost it’s battle with pneumonia which had to be treated elsewhere after being sent home with no answers and no treatment plan from your office. As a compassionate animal lover and someone who cares for animals on a daily basis I cannot believe the actions that took place yesterday. You can read this review and delete it, laugh and think nothing will happen to you over some words on a page but I would not be able to sleep at night knowing how I made a pet owner feel in the last 24 hours. I’m truly sorry your office could not find in their hearts and veterinary experience to do their jobs and do what needed to be done to help this animal.

Very friendly staff. Decent place. I just decided to move on to a different one due to the service being curbside only. I prefer to go inside with my dog. That said this place is very nice if you're not bothered by curbside and not being able to go inside with your pet.

Was ripped off. They said I had to do a deposit over the phone to make an appointment and it would be taken off my bill they charged my credit card and still charged me the office visit. Also they promised to be there to help my dog and wasn't. Will never go back there ever again. I will stay with Cleveland Heights Thank you

I love Privileged Critters Animal Hospital. My cat Banana has been going here regularly for 3 years. I know I can be a overbearing/over reactive cat mom at times and the staff here is so kind and will answer any/all questions I might have! Pam is amazing, if there is a minor emergency or cause for an animal to come in right away, she does her best to accommodate you. Dr. V is thorough with her assessments and is focused on finding both the problem and solution, instead of just trying to do an “easy fix” to abide pet parents. Their prices are also reasonable and good for someone who might be on a budget. I would suggest this animal hospital to anyone who is looking for a new vet!!

There were no surprises, the instructions for covid precaution were clear. They explained exactly what is done and how much my cost will be. Thanks.

Manager is just excellent with the office and making sure that the animals are cared for properly. The office is clean, staff is nice, and currently there are no customers allowed inside the building due to Covid-19. When we went in before the Pandemic, it was a nice experience and a nice practice overall. I do wish they had a more permanent Vet over the years, but other than that it has been a very good experience.

I cannot say enough about this place, they're awesome, I've been taking my dog Boss here since he was a puppy and they are amazing with him, they're always able to help us in a pinch and get us in, they also were there for me when we had to say goodbye to my sweet kitty Elway, I'm grateful to have them care for my fur babies, I couldn't imagine having to take them elsewhere

I brought my 70 pound Catahoula in for basic exam, rabies update and the dreaded "Nail clipping ". My pup, not a fan! But, (names right hopefully) Kim, Joe, Pam , Angela were so patient and understanding. It literally took me 3 separate visits, with their help and guidance ( and doggie meds)to calm her. They earned her trust and mine as well! I recommend them to anyone who really see pets as family! Thank u all so very much!????
