My Frenchie had a very bad UTI that was initially treated with antibiotics. When her symptoms worsened, Dr. Kyle did some tests and discovered bladder stones that had to be surgically removed. Dr. Kyle, Megan, and Tonah took all of my calls, made calls to me to check on JoJo's recovery and answered all of my questions. The incision healed without signs or symptoms of infection and Jojo is back to her happy, healthy normal!

Really liked this clinic! They were very friendly , easy to schedule an appointment with. They followed up next day to make sure my dig was okay.

I took my dog there and they told me she was old and nothing could be done about her issues. I took her to another vet who immediately found the problem and successfully treated her. My daughter took her cat there and they performed several tests costing several hundred dollars, had her bring him back a couple of days later because he was too upset for them to take an x-ray of him, charged her again and couldn’t find what was wrong with him. That evening she had to take him to the emergency vet where they quickly found the problem. Their inability to diagnose his illness (which we were told is a common condition) cost the cat unnecessary pain and my daughter a great deal of money. This should have been avoidable.

My friend brought her cat here, he was so sick and really needed help, but they refused. The cat was there just 9 weeks ago for the same problem, and they were aware of the situation. Before they would even look at the cat, they said she had to pay 600$!! So they told them to go to another vet since they didn't have 600 freaking dollars to just hand them, and unfortunately their baby went over the rainbow bridge. I'm appalled. To not even offer any help what so ever when they bring you their baby who is dying is speechless. Shame on you. You are no "hero".

They were amazing from the office staff to Dr. Pratt. They listened to my concerns, came up with a evaluation/treatment plan, and gave me estimates on the cost before I agreed to anything. My cat still isn't a fan of the vet but I think they'll grow on him. On top of that I found out they also see birds so now my cockatiels have an appointment as well. Will update review once I see how well they do with "exotics"!

All they wanted to discuss it spaying her. She is 9 weeks old. We were there to get vaccines. She did not get vaccines. We were charged $95 to discuss things she may need one day. Oh she did get heart worm medication. We definitely not reccomend this office

I definitely love it! Very friendly, helpful love it! I never found a vet that I will stay and trust until I found this one and the Lakeland emergency vet the best! Thank you for the help the follow bup calls the fast response thank you my Chihuahua is as healthy as a puppy thank you again!

Staff is excellent, they explain step by step all the process to keep my dog healthy and when my dog need the next vaccine!!

The staff was very kind and courteous. Everything was explained very thoroughly. I felt their prices were fair, and they didn't push any products you didn't need.

They explained everything that my puppy needed They Told me up front what it was gonna cost they explained to me that some of the services could wait until Next visit and they let me make that choice they were very helpful and they called the next day to see how my puppy was I would definitely recommend them

I had such a wonderful experience with Lakeland Animal Clinic! They helped me right away and called to make sure my pet was feeling better a day later was well! I now live a little further away but still want to stay with LAC as they were so kind and helpful!

Dr. Pratt is an old-school veterinarian. I've been to other animal hospitals all over the area and found those experiences to be much like going to a repair shop in that they threat you like they are fixing your broken car or lawn mower and not a beloved family pet. They call you with a diagnosis and a price and hustle you off the phone so they can get on to the next source of revenue. Not so Dr. Pratt. She has always taken the time to talk to us personally and empathetically. It's clear she loves animals. She's honest about what needs to be done and doesn't try to upsell you on things you and your four-legged friend don't really need. For as busy as they are, I've never felt rushed or been treated poorly by a staff member. Dr Pratt is a rare find. I wish there were more like her and her staff.

COVID compliance fee???? Went up to $11 dollars? For every visit ??trying to make me pay more for pills that not even have available or don’t needed. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed I would take my 2 dogs somewhere else I refuse to pay for a non sense service as compliance fee putting your pockets first rather than the dogs. Do better or be ready to loose customers

I have a senior yorkie who had an ear infection and a growth in his mouth. I am new to Florida and was very impressed with this clinic. Everyone was professional and took the time to speak to me. I even received a follow up call today. I will be back with my shepherd in the future as well as with my senior yorkie. Thank you for caring and exceptional customer service.

We are very pleased with Lakeland Animal Clinic! Dr. Pratt and her staff are animal lovers and top-notch medical providers! It is not easy to find good vets for exotics, and we have been through several. Our menagerie of rats and guinea pigs have been well taken care of here!

1st time here, great care for my dog

The vet called me the next day to follow up and she answered all my question. The staff is very professional.

After 30+ years of having dogs, we just found a kitten and it has adopted us! Chrissy and Dr. Mussnug were awesome. They explained what was needed to get her vaccinated and what was needed in future appointments. They are professional and really care about our furry family members. Thank you!

I changed vets for my 15 year old dog, Memphis, when I moved to Lakeland. Our move was made more difficult because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although, I have never met Dr. Kyle, she has been very communicative and professional. My dog has degenerative arthritis and she has been working with us to effectively manage his pain and improve his quality of life. She listens to my concerns and addresses them. Memphis is not anxious about going to the vet. The staff shares the same level of professionalism and kindness.

I was looking for a new vet because one of my fur babies has been very sick since spending 2 nights in the ICU and my vet is willing to continue to let her get sick and keep treating instead of prevention. Dr. Kyle and her team listened to what I had to say and how I could prevent her from getting gastritis and gave me several options to try. I was not looking for a quick fix and needed to know how to care for her so she did not get sick again. So far she has been well. They were all amazing from my first phone call and throughout the visit. Even called the next day to check on both of my babies and to see if I had any other questions. Amazing place and I highly recommend!!!
