My puppy went to daycare for the first time today and enjoyed herself I loved hearing the good news. I wish you guys had a camera in the play area where we could at least see the little pups play ???? I just wanna watch my dog get along with the others.

Owner and his team is wonderful!! I visited them few times for my 2 year old notorious Anatolian shepppard dog and they did good job in full package service that includes hair trim, nail cutting, brushing and shower-shampoo.

After years going there They decided they no longer want me as a customer. The last few times I’ve taken my dog there for a bath, I pick her up and the back of her paws are dirty and wet. I let the owner know yesterday to pay special attention to this and asked to make sure she’s fully dry. My dog is an Akita. I understand it is a lot of fur and difficult job. When I picked her up, the same issue occurred. I showed the girl at the counter and she offered me a free wash Monday. Today, I get s call from the owner offering to refund the money and asking me never to bring her back. I went in to the shop and spoke to the owner, he said it is always something with me and he is sorry but he can’t make me happy. He explains that the bath my dog receives is very hard work and the cost doesn’t justify keeping me as a customer. I’ve boarded my dog at this place, I’ve been a customer for years and never complained before to my recollection. He says my dog is difficult, first time I’ve heard this. I never asked for a free anything. All I wanted was a clean dog. Truly, this was a luxury because I know my dog looks her best when I wash her myself. I’ve recommended many people go to Hollywood Houndz in the past, but never again. For anyone who is in customer service the best thing to do is listen and find a path forward. I will never recommend this place to anyone again, which is sad because they are a small business and could do better if they knew how to treat customers.

We boarded our chihuahua puppy there for the first time. Very friendly staff.

My two dogs levi and butler came back looking great! The groomer was even willing to use the shampoo our vet gave me for butler and was really accomodating when we asked not to have him sprayed with the fragrence because of his skin allergies. I believe it was the owner who checked my boyfriend and I out as well and he gave great reccomendations on what to give our dogs to decrease the shedding! We will definitely be coming back here!

The way you handle negative reviews reveals how you run your business. Why not acknowledge your mistakes and put in the effort to resolve issues? Better organization would help cut down on these repetitive complaints.

The place is so dirty, smells terrible too. We brought our dog in and we spoke to groomer personally to give him instructions. We emphasized not to shave the dog down to his skin. When we picked him up he had done exactly that. My dog has severe diarrhea now. I took him to the vet and they said it was due to the stress from the grooming session. I could only imagine how terrible they must have treated my dog in there for him to literally get sick to his stomach. Animal abuse! I will be calling and reporting this establishment. Please don’t bring this any more business since this is what they do, don’t your fur baby here.

A place I trust my animals with, for sure! The services and the people are very high quality! I love that my animals can stay together while boarding and even though my one dog is very challenging, he loves going to get groomed! We're so glad to have found this jewel in Lake Mary!

We brought our seventeen years old dog, who is almost blind, for boarding. The staff went beyond their duties to make sure that Bruno had his meds and meals. They even fed him by hand and called us to make sure that his sleeping habits were normal. We are very grateful for taking good care of Bruno for a whole week. Thanks.

I left my dog overnight the staff is wonderfulWhen I pick her up they told me that she was a wonderful dog she behavedBut when they brought her out she has some blood and they told me there was a small puppy who scratched herWas disappointedI wonder where was the person watching them at the daycare

Everyone,including alex the owner were the most reliable and helpful people I've ever met when i needed help to take care of my dog. They healed up and took care of my pet at rates that didn't bankrupt me unlike vet care. I definitely recommend coming here if you want what's best for your pet.

Nice place located in Lake Mary Fl. Not a huge selection but they did carry Stella and Chewies my pups fav brand . They also offer grooming and boarding service. Very pleasant staff and helpful. I will definitely go back.

I have a Siberian Husky and we are from Iowa so he started blowing out already. Looking for a groomer I checked here and the owner is Very knowledgeable! They also do doggy daycare and it was wonderful to drop my boy off and go do what we want and come back at 5 to pick him up! Best part? He didn't want to leave! Normally with groomers it's OK Mom, Let's get out of here! Nope, he tried to go back to the play room lol

I Highly recommend Hollywood Houndz for your pets grooming and boading needs. Alex, Tanita and staff deliver personal service that is heads and tails above the rest !!!!!! I called to inquire about grooming aka Spa day. Alex was Informative, patiently answered all my questions and explained everything that was included in the service. I came here ahead of our appointment for a first time visit, I was greeted by Tanita. I set up our account, filled out the paperwork and brought the vet info Alex and I spoke about. I enjoyed my first visit, Tanita is an awesome customer service specialist. I am very particular about who cares for our pampered princess. When we arrived for spa day, Alex and Tanita both greeted us. Spa day was worth it. Her coat is so soft and beautiful. Their prices are very reasonable. Alex is AMAZING!!! They have a wonderful way with people and pets. The store is stocked with a variety of pet products but be sure to check out the bakery and confection section while you are there. There’s plenty of parking and easy access to the front door. Thank you Alex and staff for a perfect day at Hollywood Houndz.

The only place we trust for our two pups for grooming and boarding

It was very easy to get an appointment for a bath. My dog hates water and it is sometimes very difficult to give him a bath. The owner took the time to get to know my dog, Jax. He was able to make him feel comfortable. I was so surprised to find out he was able to give him a bath and trim his nail. The price was very affordable and I will definitly come back. I am extremely happy.

Absolutely love this place. Alex took great care of my girl while i was out of town. The people here truly care about your pets. Definitely recommend!!

I dropped my dog off for boarding and a groom upon calling to make an appointment I stated she would be there 2 nights and get a bath and a cut the girl I spoke with was very nice and documented everything I said. When I showed up to drop her off they had no idea what I was taking about and that should have been a sign to just walk out but we needed my dog watched for 2 nights so I ended up explaining it all over again that she is shedding a lot and needed a cut and that I was fine with it being short that they should do whatever they recommend. 1 hour before I was going to pick her up they called and asked what grooming was she going to get. At this point there was not point in cutting her as I thought it would have been done being I would be there in an hour. They stated she was bathed and was drying to call back before I show up to get her to make sure she was dry. At this point I’m mad because I explained twice what I wanted done and nothing was done. When I picked her up the Guy came out and said he could refund the bath but we said no beings she was washed and I would pay for it but they excuse given about the cut was he should have documented what we spoke about also she was never blown out she’s still shedding and covered in loose fur which I’ve never had happen after a grooming. With that said we will not be bringing our dog back I shouldn’t have to explain what we wanted done 3 times yet alone an hour before picking her up.

I’ve been boarding my fur babies here for several years now and couldn’t trust anyone more with my babies. Alex and his entire team are friendly and go above and beyond every time, from boarding to grooming. My girls are excited every time I get their bag together for a stay.. they know they will get lots of love and attention. I highly recommend!

It's very easy to give 1-star reviews. Some people just do it because they are never happy and they do not consider the whole thing. If a small detail is not perfect, then they forget about all the rest. Well, I can tell that Alex is one of the kindest guys I know. We had a death in our family and had to go out of state for a funeral. Of course it was unexpected and we didn't have time to gel all ready to board our dog. Also we didn't have enough food for all days. So, Alex gave us his personal cell, he purchased food at Pet Smart (because he doesn't carry it) and he make us fell so very confident about it all. Thank You Alex and all the team! We will be back!
