Get ready to wait on your car for more than 1 hr and 20 min then call and find out you still have sick pets ahead and it will take over 1 hr to wait and them get to you. Love Hector but seriously they can do better. I had an appointment for the anual exam and rabies and it couldn't happen that day i end up taking my friend to another clinic . But thank you

I love the staff here, they are always so friendly and careful with my dog. Their services are not overpriced..very economical.

Everyone here is very nice and they take care of my cats very well.

I called and discussed nail trim options for my dog. She is an old rescue with a history of neglect as a breeder female at a puppy mill. I told them that she does not typically do well with nail trims but she needs them done. They said to bring her in and see how she does and if she freaks out they can stop and we can discuss having them trimmed under sedation. Sounded great. Today, I brought her to the clinic. I told the guy that came out to get her (they are doing curb side pick up) that I noticed blood in her stool the night before and asked if it could be tested. He said she would have to see the vet and have a physical and as my appointment wasn’t with the vet he wasn’t sure it could happen today. He said he would let me know. I get a call 15 minutes later saying the vet examined her and wanted to do a fecal and blood test. It would be $130 total. My response: ‘I’m not sure if there was a misunderstanding on my end but I thought you were going to see if there was an opening and let me know. I don’t have that money right now.’ He said ‘let me see what I can do.’ 10 minutes go by and I call back to see what’s going on. They say he is trimming her nails. 5 minutes pass and he comes outside with her and says ‘it’s a good thing our regular vet isn’t in today because they wouldn’t release your dog back to you without you paying the exam fee.’ I’m completely speechless and scoop my dog up and get in the car. I instantly notice all of her nails had been cut down past the quick and had bled. I call to make the payment for the nail trim and ask the receptionist about this. She said it’s normal when they are overgrown and that she was already uncomfortable with getting them cut that they just wanted to get them cut as short as possible. I have never had a vet cut her nails down to the point that that bleed. I also don’t know what happened with the phone call about not cutting them if she freaked out too much. Instead, I was given my dog back with bloody nails and her leash was soaked with urine. I can only imagine her experience behind the closed doors. I will never return to that vet.

Had a lovely first visit at Allendale. Our girls loved Hector! I feel like we made a good choice coming here. Jadhi (not sure if I'm spelling her name right) was very helpful and sweet with our dogs! Their first visit was during the Covid19 Pandemic and they came out to the car to pick them up... my dogs went in tails wagging and came out all smiles and wags too. I trust my pups response, they acted like they had a great experience. Next time I hope to meet the vet. Thanks Allendale!

Staff is great specially Hector, but sadly they have no influence in making decisions. I called this vet on Saturday. My cat was sick and they accepted him as a walk-in...........I waited 3 hours in my car. While I waited I saw many unhappy people walking out( weekend vet/ Dr. Vaile). This should have been the first red flag! After 3 hours, my cat was given a vitamin b shot, a $50.00 prescribed cat food, X-ray and IV for a nice total of $500.00!!! I have never paid this much for a vet's visit!!! I was told to text if I had any questions regarding treatment, well my cat got worst and started vomiting. I texted the Vet and nobody answered my text. So I ended up taking my cat to another vet who gave my cat a shot for his vomiting, anti-inflammatory medication as my cat had swollen muscles, an IV for a total of $89.00. So my advise get help somewhere else, your pet might not get the right diagnose at this clinic. I call the vet's office and I explained everything I asked to get a refund on the examination fee which was $50.00 but Dr. Figueroa declined. So I truly believe that If the doctor is not willing to correct mistakes made by his fill-in vet, then he is proving to me that he doesn't deserve my trust or perhaps your trust either.

My dog needed surgery and I had an (x) amount of money to be able to performed the surgery. They worked with me and I was able to get the surgery done. I have been to other vets office in the past and at lease the ones i went to would not have done what this vet office has done for me. That action has showed me the type of people that works at allendale animal hospital. I would recommend this vet office to anyone. Thank you again for all you guys have done for me and my dogs

We really like Dr. Jose and his staff. They are professional and very kind to our 2 Boston terriers. Like with children, you hope you find the right Dr. for them, these 2 are our fur babies, and finding this Vet Practice was important. I see some comments here about pricing, I’ve been in Fla for 8 months. We traveled from NY to Texas and now here, the pricing for services here are comparable. You get what you pay for I’ve found out the hard way. Now, I must mention one of the stars of this practice, Hector. I want to adopt him, he has a way that makes my dogs feel comfortable, and Astro my 2 y/o old can’t wait to see him. They greet me and my dogs by name when we walk through the door, that means a lot to me.

These folks are outstanding. Friendly efficient staff, experienced and knowledgeable Doctor.

I have taken my animal's there since 2008, they know you and your animals by name. They are very caring people. I won't go anywhere else.

We have been enjoying the services of Allendale Animal health center since our first puppy in 2003. The service has always been excellent. Dr. Figueroa and his staff is always warm and super friendly. We love them would not think of taking our furry babies anywhere else.

Love the ways in which my Dogs are treated PLUS I love the staff ????????

I like taking my dog here the staff is awsome specially Hector he is the best he always makes me feel comfortable even though my dog gets scare of him Tommy Boy but he cares for my dog so much and he you can see the passion for animals!!!

I wish I could give them 10 stars! I have 3 Boxers who are all getting up there in years and all have issues. The staff at Allendale are compassion and caring and have taken care of my babies like I would take care of them myself. Dr. Figueroa gives you the bottom line when it comes to your pets health and then gives you choices about their care. I feel like my pets are cared for as the wonderful individuals they are and I am so very grateful for all that Allendale has done for them. Thank you from a very grateful mommy and her three babies (Ripley, Lily and Chewy). Special shout out to Hector who isn't afraid to love them like his own! :)

Amazing clinic! Once again my dog has visit Dr. Figueroa due to limping ..... The Doctor took the time needed to let us know what happend and made sure we understood everything! You guys are amazing! Imory will be visiting again Monday! I will always recommend this clinic!
