Bow Wow Resort Apopka, Florida

All the staff are incredibly kind and really care about the dogs who stay there. My dog, Nova, loves coming to day care here and playing all day. She gets just as excited pulling up to Bow Wow as when we pull up to the dog park, and that’s saying something. I love not having to worry about her when I’m out of town.

The employees care about your dog and are organized.

Caring, capable and responsive. One of my pup’s had a seizure and they cared for him as if he was their own. Incredibly kind and compassionate!!!

We LOVE the Bow Wow! More importantly, our dog LOVES it even more! Our dog is a rescue who was previously abused and neglected. Because of this, he was not very friendly with other people and animals. After just one day at the Bow Wow, he was a different dog. He is so excited when he realizes he is going to the Bow Wow. He plays with the other dogs and is openly affectionate with all of the employees. He comes home happy and exhausted. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful and safe place for our dog!

This place is great for our two Weims Sasha, and Sadie. They dogs play outside for hours, and the owner is so nice, and very accommodating. Our pups are always happy when we pick them up, and pooped which is great.

Our boys love when they get to hang with the ruff crowd! We know they are treated well there! The owners and staff are so friendly, it feels like dropping them off with family! I posted this two years ago, today I want make a small update. James and his staff are absolutely the best! If I could give them 10 stars or 50 stars, it just doesn’t cover how great this facility is and how awesome they are to our boys!

My dog (Willow) absolutely loves coming here! The staff are always friendly, positive and upbeat. I can trust willow is in good hands when I drop her off! And you can’t beat the price! Highly recommend!

I never leave reviews, but Bow Wow Resort is amazing!!! My puppy has been going here for only 4 days and as soon as we pull up in the mornings he knows exactly where we are and can't wait to get out of the car. I'm so glad that I found Bow Wow...their day care has helped so much with his crazy puppy energy and it's even better because my pup LOVES going! We don't have any more issues with him and his uncontrollable bursts of energy when it's time to go to bed. I'm also already seeing an improvement with his separation anxiety. Highly recommend!!!

This place is by far is the most professional and caring 'Doggie Daycare' we have ever been to. James (the owner) and his staff ALL treat your pet as if he/she was theirs. They are INCREDIBLE and I guarantee you you will never be disappointed. We leave our dog there every morning and pick her up at the end of the day. When we drop her there she is sooooo excited to get in the door jumping up and down and immediately goes outside and plays with all her 'friends'. They play, chase each other, and have a blast all day long constantly wagging their tails!!. When we pick her up she doesn't want to leave her friends and when we get home she is so tired from playing all day she just crashes out on our sofa! This place is always clean and the staff are GREAT!! There are no hidden charges and the price is incredibly reasonable compared to other places we have seen. For a small fee they will also wash your dog, cut the nails, and clean its ears. Just a couple weeks ago we stayed out at a Disney resort for a week and left 'Snickers' at a place nearby the hotel so we could visit her daily and conveniently. It appears from the outside to be Disney owned but is not affiliated with Disney at all (we later learned). OMG, NEVER AGAIN!! When we picked her up she was bleeding from her nose, they told us they had not taken her out to play even though we agreed to 'pay extra' for this, and she lost her sense of being house broken and we had to retrain her all over again. The personal clothing items we had left her 'in her pen' were all saturated with days of feces and urine. In short, it was simply unbelievable and it will NEVER happen again. This place (Bow Wow Resort) is only getting 5 stars from me because it won't allow me to give any higher!! If you drop your dog there I assure you Snickers will keep her or him busy playing all day and the staff will treat her/him like their own!! Dennis Warren, Longwood

I would definitely recommend this place to other dog owners. I was new to the city and had to make a last minute trip out of state and was skeptical about leaving my dog, Shadow, here alone. But he loved it. I was impressed by his level of joy and the level of attentiveness that was provided to my dog. The owner is a very nice man and gave great services at a reasonable price. We will surely use this place again, even if just to allow Shadow to play around with the other dogs.

Bow Wow is a Great place to take your fur family member for the day or an overnight stay. The staff at Bow Wow are incredible, they are extremely tentative and loving. Most places she refuses to get out of the car, at Bow Wow she climbs right out. Our Fur Kid loves her visits at Bow Wow.

Brought our dog in for boarding and the place is great. Clean,good value, attentive staff. We used to bring her in for day care all the time.

We have to be careful mentioning Bow Wow at home because our dog, Cognac gets so excited when he hears it. He loves it there!

My german shepherd has been going to Bow Wow Resort for the past 5 months, mostly for daycare, and she loves it! They have several areas for dogs to play and exercise and I feel the staff does a great job of matching up doggy personalities and play styles. The mornings I drop her off, she jumps out of the car with excitement and walks right in, confident and happy. In the evening, when I pick her up I can tell she had a great day of running/playing and the staff always gives me an update on her play throughout the day. Occasionally I have boarded my pup and the staff is great with instructions for feeding and care. The most important thing for me is my dog's happiness and James and his wonderful staff have a passion and love for what they do and it shows everyday. I have complete trust in their care and highly recommend their services to anyone in the area looking for daycare and boarding.

Do not take your dogs to this place! My puppy came home with scratches on his whole body but especially his neck. It is obvious that he was choked so badly that caused his neck to bleed. His paws have some kind of wounds. He’s been leaking them for the last 3 days. His eye got infected. I had to take him to an emergency at 3am and spent $1000 to make sure he doesn’t loose his eye. My poor puppy hasn’t been the same. I think he got abused in this place. Definitely came home damaged physically and emotionally. What a mistake I did on my part!!! I feel so sad that he went through this

My dogs seemed happy. Owner was very pleasant and they came home smelling great.

Our pup has been going to Bow Wow for many years. She has pretty much grown up at Bow Wow. We can’t ask for a better group of animal lovers to trust our girl with. They take care of her as if she was their own. They have always gone above and beyond for us - specifically the day “someone” rolled in poop before pickup time!!! The peeps at Bow Wow truly love what they do and you can tell by the many kisses Mayci has to give each of them before she will leave for the day. We highly recommend Bow Wow for daycare and boarding.

Mox loves Bow Wow resort! He's been going there for 7 years! This is his second home and we are so thankful for the love & care he receives everyday!

These guys are absolutely amazing. My pitt Pumbaa loves to go to daycare every morning and has such a fun day while he's there. Very thankful that he has pups to play with all day while i'm at work and isn't home alone. He's much more socialized now and loves to greet other dogs we meet while we're out ????

I visited with James and Tom. James, the owner, gave me a tour and shared his ideas on an expansion project at the facility. Good foundation with great expectations.

We had to be away from our baby for 2 nights. After making several phone calls and asking around, we chose bow wow resort. We are very pleased with the experience. Ashley even texted us pictures and updates. When we picked our dog up, her overall attitude was that of excitement. We are happy to have such caring people close by for not only overnights, but daycare as well. Thank you to your whole staff

There is a solid team here. I board my dog when I have long trips out of town and my dog walks in and out just as happy as if we were going to the park.
