Vet I Care Jacksonville, Florida

I unfortunately didn't make it to the hospital before my dog passed. But at 4am they were very sweet with helping me with my dog and very respectful. But my mind blowing moment was after I picked up my cremated dog. They put her in the most beautiful urn I could ever imagine. I had no idea thats how I would get her back back and gave me a piece of her hair and I paid for a paw print in clay,I guess that's what you call it. Brant thank them enough for being a 24hr vet care and being so respectful.

Made an emergency visit here. Dr G was caring and patient with us at a very difficult time. He stabilized our bulldog with lots of support and referred us to an excellent specialty group. The staff was excellent also. Would highly recommend.

I whole heartedly recommend this place. I went to another ER and was given an estimate that was over twice what this place charge. In addition they were very responsive, professional and competent. I was so happy with their ER service I am switching to them for my pets routine care also.

They are wonderful!! Took my senior dog to them after hours, it was her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge, they were very caring and made it very peaceful for her and us. Dr. Hicks was very gentle. Thank you soo much.

Definitely recommend this place for an emergency vet , the staff was so warming and comforting . Very caring . My dog saw dr g and he was absolutely wonderful very knowledgeable, took his time and made sure he went through all of my dogs x rays to give me the right information very through . My dog was in excellent care. Thank you dr g and staff !

Because near-by 24 hour vets have closed this has caused a great burden on the Doctors and staff at I-Care. They are doing everything they can to help all who come in. I have never felt anything but love from the entire staff. They go above and beyond to care for my babies. So grateful for this vet and staff.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I took my sweet dog to this place this morning. the tech was fine, but the vet was as unfeeling as they come. Acted put-upon that he had to spend time with me and my dog. he had no bedside manner, seemed like he would rather be napping. He told me she had indigestion and go home and give her gas-x. Sadly, she died less than 10 hours later after going to a better emergency vet, where the entire staff was caring, responsive and made me and my family feel comfortable and cared for. Sadly my sweet dog was gone by 4pm. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I like the actual vets, but the tech Tory is very rude and condescending. She should reconsider working in any form of customer service.

In case of you need pet emergency Please make this clinic is last one in your list. we all know in emergency we going to pay more money to see our pets get well again, but this clinic not only over charge but add on to you bill unnecessary tests, I request an blood test to be done in my son dog and they charge me over $400 and many other procedures was done with out asking us if they could, if we have the money, they in business not to save your pet but to ripe off people that love and care for they pets. REPONDING YOU COMMENT: you didn't fire me as a customer because I have no intention to go back at you ripoff Clinic, you could save your time in write me that letter and try to help the someone with the pets need for a reasonable price. the acting of my son is the acting of any one that someone that work hard for the money for you to try to steal, just because we try to save the life of his dog.

We took our cat in, who we thought at the time had his nose bit off by another cat. We explained he kept batting the scab off and we were very worried about infection. The vet we saw suggested he had pneumonia and wanted to do about $800 worth of tests which we declined knowing our cat needed wound care and antibiotics, not a liver function check. They did hydrate and gave us antibiotics but no wound care, no pain management- not even a cone. We got him to our actual vet the following day and learned he probably electrocuted himself because upon inspection the inside of his mouth was burned. Pain management and wound care were the 2 most obvious and basic needs and neither were met at this clinic. I would suggest seeking care elsewhere.

They took care of my Charlie for 5 days. They were very good with him and dealt with my 100 calls and daily visits. Sadly my Charlie didn't make it. They were very comforting. I miss Charlie more everyday but I know they did everything possible to save him

We had an emergency situation and Dr. Gerstake gave heartwarming professional care to our “Beanzie”..... she was 100% better within 48 hours! Thank you!

I originally went here because my Bella got very sick over the weekend in December. I have switched both of our dogs to Dr G because he is personable and professional. My previous vet was nonexistent during the pandemic. I would go there and have to wait outside and only saw the tech on those occasions. Dr G wore a mask as did I and always took time to answer my many questions. Both of our dogs are elderly and I feel confident that they are being well cared for. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. Knowing they are there 24/7 is a wonderful feeling.

this vet was unfriendly and then not greet with me with a hello, when I first entered it was a negative vibe, and they didn't care to introduce themselves, my dog had a broken pelvis from a car hit, they quoted me a price and I agree to pay that price, and when I went to pay the bill there was an additional $300 charges that wasn't discussed with me, their attitude was very nonchalant and unprofessional. my dog had to be carried in on a stretcher, and when I Was preparing to leave, she asked me can I pick the dog up and put him in the truck, I said no I want you to carry the dog the way you brought him in on the stretcher, and she got upset when I said that,,,having the wrong spirit in the right place does not help anyone or any animal.

I stumbled upon this vet after my local vet misdiagnosed my pom for over 3 years...I feel lucky to have found this place. I drive about 45 mins just to see this staff. They have taken such great care of my dog and have been thorough as well as very kind.

Great place to take your fur babies.

We use to only come for their convenient extended hours services but after so many pleasant experiences we decided to make Dr. G our go to guy! The entire staff is great and treat my dogs like their own!
