My first experience with VCA was great. My dog can be aggressive but the two veterinarians handled him perfectly and even got some kisses from him after they gave him some treats! They were all very friendly and helpful.

Love the staff and Dr. Marianela Francesena! We were treated wonderfully and everything was explained completely and thoroughly. *** What a difference 2 years make! I will NEVER bring my animals here again! After bringing numerous dogs over 25+ years, once Dr. Prince retired and sold his practice and VCA bought it, these people could care less except for your MONEY. Didn't even bother to tell me Dr. F had left the practice, apparently they never have appointments on Mondays according to the receptionist/phone answered and you'll NEVER get a call from the 'office manager'. Julington Creek Animal Walk welcomed my geriatric pups with open arms and took EXCELLENT ❤ care of both of them.!

The staff here couldn’t have been more professional and friendly and let me know the cost of my new cats procedures ahead of time. The place was spotless clean and the staff were all very caring and compassionate and considerate and seemed to truly enjoy their jobs from the office manager to the tech and the doctor!!

I bring my beloved pet and the attention they give her is above and beyond. Will not bring her anywhere else. Very friendly staff.

Very welcoming staff who are excited to help you. Vets are great at including you in decision-making for your pet's care. Very accommodating for my dog who gets nervous at the vets.

On March 31st, my daughter and I had to put Our 4 legged little girl down due to Cancer. It was one of the hardest days of our lives and the staff was so caring and professional. Pam and especially Dr. Eslick was so patient and didn't rush us. Dr. Eslick explained the process and rubbed Rileys head and talked to her till she took her last breath. This staff is amazing, caring and professional.

Dr. Eslick and team take awesome care of my cat Zoe, who has PTSD, and has to be sedated to have her nails trimmed. Zoe is 15 years old and just saw Dr. Eslick for some respiratory issues, Dr. Eslick kept me up to date on all test results and discussed all concerns with me. Best vet in the city.

Dr. Eslick is the best! She does what's best for your pet.

I took my almost 16 year old dog in because he had quit eating and was vomiting liquid. I didn't know if he was failing just due to age or had an infection. Dr. Tom checked him physically and determined right away that he probably had a tumor in his spleen/ liver area. He confirmed with x-ray. It was a large tumor. He took plenty of time discussing options. It wasn't good and due to my Sammy's age I didn't want to put him thru a surgery and Dr. Tom never pressured me either way. I took Sammy home that evening and brought him back the next afternoon to be euthanized. Everyone in the office were so kind and understanding and gave me plenty of time with my Sam.

My husband and I bring both our beloved dogs here and we love this office! They are so nice. We’ve seen two different doctors and really liked them both. I would not continue to take my pets to a vet’s office if I didn’t have complete confidence in their abilities. I have all the faith in VCA—highly recommend!
