Intracoastal West Veterinary Hospital Jacksonville, Florida

I feed 6 feral and stay cats along with others in the neighborhood. One of them showed up with a terrible swollen infected eye. Intracoastal West Veterinarian was able to fit him in that afternoon and did a thorough exam. The vet and tech handled Orange with care and kept him calm the whole time. They found a bad ear infection during the exam I didn't know about. We went home with drops for both, and he's doing so much better. I'll keep taking them there if they get injured. Assuming it's not one of the two ferals, unless tranquilizing is an option. ;)

Cannot say enough good things about Intracoastal West Vet. They took great care of my senior great dane and made sure he had the medication he needed to be comfortable as he approached the end of his life. When it was his time to go, they were also there to help send him on to his next journey with compassion. For such a difficult situation, it was so peaceful and the best experience I could have imagined. Thank you for being who you are!

I will only bring my dog here! The staff is kind and willing to go the extra mile in all things. My dog loves the staff! Thorough and works with you on pricing! They care! I will go no where else.

Darlene and the doctor was sooooo nice! I am so happy I found this vet because it will be my new vet for all of my animals now. I called and they were able to fit me in the same day for an appointment for my sick kitten. The doctor was so thorough and explained everything step by step. She answered all of my questions and really cared for my newly adopted kitten, Finn. This vet was priced very reasonable and they did not do any unneeded tests like I feel most other vets do. I am extremely happy with this vet and will recommend to everyone. Thank you!!!

I am beyond thankful to the team at Intracoastal West Vet, they are all so compassionate and keep an amazing upbeat attitude. From the moment you call to book an appointment, until they’re bringing your baby back to you with discharge instructions, you are met with a caring staff that is always thorough and happy to answer any questions. I love that even during Covid times, Dr M performs her exams by the window with you right on the other side, while she is on the phone explaining everything she is doing or seeing along the way. Two of my cats have underwent surgery at this hospital, one of my cats needing multiple surgeries, and I’ve had incredible experiences, despite it being such a scary thing for us to experience as an owner. Thank you Rob and Luna for treating my babies wish the highest level of care during their anesthesia monitoring and recovery.

I recommend this place! Took my dog for a routine exam, staff were very friendly, professional and I was in and out in no time.

The staff at Intercostal West Vet are amazing and so caring! Dr. Mars takes the time to answer all my questions and make sure I'm comfortable with everything going on during the visit. Both my little dog AND my cat were vary comfortable with her and Darlene which is very important to me. They were kind and patient with both babies and didn't rush or man handle them like I've had happen in the past. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Mars to anyone looking for a great a veterinarian! Added bonus they aren't outrageous with prices either! I will definitely be bringing my babies here from now on!

The workers was great and friendly

Dr. Marsigliano literally saved our dog's life. We have a pomeranian with trachea collapse and were told the only options were heavy sedatives until death or surgery. Since our initial consult with Intracoastal our dog is off opioids and is thriving with excellent health at age 12. 100% will recommend this thorough, intelligent, and communicative vet to every single person I meet with veterinarian needs.

My old little man hates the vets but due to him being 13 he is starting to have some issues so regular check ups are a must, intracoastal has been AMAZING with him. The vets and techs are absolutely AMAZING with him and love my little Oliver. Due to their compassion towards animals he is comfortable and trusting of the vet which puts me at ease because the less stress he has the less his heart races and raises my stress. Wish I could give them more stars but it only allows me 5 ???? personally they are a 9 out of 10.

Dr. Marsigliano is an excellent and compassionate veterinarian. One of a kind thats hard to find!

Dr. M showed the utmost compassion and love to our sweet old boy. He was given a peaceful and loving send off in our home. The doctor has a big heart and it shows in how she helped us say goodbye to him. I would see her again for any future services, since it’s obvious that she truly cares for her patients and their human companions. Thank you so much.

Shameful!!! This veterinary clinic lost a dog while in their care and is not helping search for the dog and is not offering money for a reward or paying for a tracker to help find the dog. It's been well over a week since the dog got out of the clinic. It appears all they have done is put some traps out for the dog in a wooded area. The dog simply vanished. This is so mysterious...cameras across the street do not show the dog running away from the clinic as they claim it did. The family that owns the dog and many in the community have searched for the last 9+ days and have had no luck finding the dog. This clinic should be investigated.

They let a dog loose in their practice unattended and mysteriously lost it. It is unclear what happened to the pup (escaped?, theft?, negligence?) but in any case, the vet is not helping the client find the dog or giving any solid answers as to what happened. All they have said to the media is they let the dog roam around unleashed in their lobby (not even in an exam room), would not allow the owner into the building, and mysteriously the dog just vanishes into thin air. This is very irresponsible and unprofessional, not to mention suspicious behavior. The state licensing board should take a close look at the goings on at this place.

I am a good friend of Tootsie's family. You know the dog that magically disappeared out of the vets care? ???? coming from someone that has been in the vet field for 16 years, I have never in my life seen an animal randomly disappear and the vet nor the staff have offered assistance. Why? Where is Tootsie? Why are you not offering assistance or video footage? I do not believe for a second that your cameras do not have recording on them. How is it that the other buildings did not show a dog running out of your clinic around the mysterious disappearance of Tootsie? Why is Courtney and her family having to pour out thousands of dollars to get help in finding their dog and you are not doing anything to assist? You should have shut that clinic down for the day and went to go help if what you are saying happened actually happened. None of this is making sense. Where the heck is Tootsie? I live a few hours away and I am doing more to help find Tootsie then you have offered and that is not right. I have never worked for a clinic that did not have camera recordings. It's a shame that this family is so beyond devestated to the point where they have to reach out for help all over Central Florida. The heartache they are suffering due to this is absolutely sickening and you should be ashamed of yourself for not going out of your way to assist. I can write so much more but I will leave this here. All I have to say is, do YOUR PART!!! If something happened to her inside your clinic then give my friend and her mom closure. As a vet and someone who is supposed to love and protect animals, you sure are disappointing people like me that would do everything in their power to help someone find their dog especially when it was your fault. I believe a major investigation needs to be done and I pray to God it happens.

This office is terrible! They are very fishy, unreliable, horrible communication. They do very suspicious things in this office and I would never recommend! Save Tootsie!!

DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET WITH THIS OFFICE!! They claim a small dog got loose and ran away while in their care, yet cameras show no footage of dog! Have not done their due diligence to help find the dog either. Something happened in that office that they don’t want getting out. They should not be in business! If you love your pets, find another clinic NOW!

This vet is curbside only, which is pretty standard right now. However, they tried to force me to wear a mask when I was outside speaking to them. When I refused, they went back in and claimed that my pet had no vet record of his existing hypothyroidism, which I was there to have treated. They obviously did not contact my prior vet and intentionally lied. They then asked me to find another vet because I refused to wear a mask OUTSIDE. Horrible customer service.
