I love this office and the staff here! My baby Loki was a sick little kitten. Dr. Gillian fixed him up so we brought our older doggies in. I will not take my pets to any other Vet! They are so loving and gentle with my babies. I trust them 100% to take care of my babies as if they were their own!

Extremely pleased with service given to my cat, Omega. Diagnosis and follow up medication was thoroughly explained and I was listened to, by staff. Explanation given by doctor was both professional and knowledgeable. First time..., excellent experience.

As a former veterinary professional, I have high expectations for veterinary care. I spent 3 months searching and creating a spreadsheet of vet hospitals in the area; I do not play when it comes to the care of my fur babies. I decided upon OPAH, and I am beyond satisfied. Dr. Gillen is a kind, patient , and knowledgeable doctor. His reception and techs are considerate and skilled. I tell everyone I can to go see OPAH for all of their animal needs. My COVID puppy is comfortable with them, and they handled my old man kitty with respect. Their wellness plan is worth it, too. Can't say enough good things about this hospital !

I absolutely love this hospital and would highly recommend it to anyone in the Orange Park area. I have been to OPAH twice now with urgent situations with my dog and they were very accommodating in getting us in same day, unlike my regular vet Banfield, who wouldn’t take him in immediately despite being a customer for over 10 years. Dr. Gillen and his staff are very friendly, caring and extremely knowledgeable. They actually take the time to speak to you in detail, don’t treat you like just a transaction and try to rush to be done with you. Their fees are also less expensive or competitive to what I pay with my Wellness plan discounts through Banfield. If you love your animals and want genuine quality service for your pets from people you can trust, definitely go to OPAH!

The absolute best clinic you will find, you can tell how much Dr. Gillen genuinely cares about the well-being of your sweet fur baby! He went above and beyond to care for my pup, my dog is generally skittish around people and new environments and he was so gentle caring for her. I trust Dr. Gillen and his staff wholeheartedly knowing my pups in the best hands. I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby!

Ty for scanning a lost animal n helping us find there owner

I was grateful for the fact that they were open on a Saturday, and we were Thankful for our kitty getting cared for, but I was disappointed in a few things , I feel like you pay higher prices for the care and also my cat fur was visibly messy from her illness and I expected that she would be cleaned up, while she was back in the area getting x-ray and labs. But I was upset to see that they didn't even clean her up After seeing this review- they offered to try to make it up to us, by providing a free service or next appointment for free

I absolutely adore this place.The staff is extremely friendly, and I never once felt judged during the entire treatment. When I was on my last legs with my senior cat, after another vet refused to help me, I bought him here as a final try before we decided to put him down. Not only did they take the time to actually look at the problem, but they gave me several options of treatment, advice on what to do next, and they explained each thing they were going to do in terms I could understand. Thanks to them, my cat has lived to see his 18th birthday, and here's for hoping for 19! I will definitely be a loyal customer for a long time, and I highly recommend them to anyone in this area wondering where to go.

My husband, David, took our Chihuahua, Gizmo, and he told me that Dr. Gillen and the staff were amazing! I have to agree with him. I called and spoke with Dr. Gillen and he explained everything so thoroughly. My Gizmo was having tummy issues and had an accident in the office and my hubby told me they were so nice about it. I am going to switch vets to Dr. Gillen's office. I really appreciate the love and care they provided to my Gizmo. I 100% recommend this office for anyone's pet needs. Just amazing!
