We started coming here because we recently adopted a new dog who was vetted here. I have been taking my cats and dogs to what used to be Hershel animal clinic (now River city animal hospital) for over 25 years. Let me tell you, I am so glad that I did. Not only are they significantly lower priced, but staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s clean and bright and cheerful. Not rushed and when I left, I was so glad that I had decided to give them a try. You WILL not regret taking your loved fur babies to this veterinarians office. We are there to stay.

We've been using this vets office for over 20 years and they take good care of our pets. The only negative I have is they're no longer open on Saturday since Covid began.

The staff are awesome. They really seem to care and don't mind that my big dog thinks he goes there for a play date ????.

Very Good Vet, took our female dog in for her shot, nails clipped, they found out she has an inner ear infection. They treated her & gave us the antibiotics to treat her. Very nice people up there, highly recommend.

It was just ok, first time coming in after years of not bringing my pets in. Got get use to some new people and dr. I liked the original vet dr. The best but she is no longer there.

Very friendly and caring. They do a excellent job clipping my great Danes nails. They are very patient with her when she is throwing a Dane fit.

Dr Sanders and her staff are the best. They treat our two Boxers as if they were their own. They are close by as well. I also am grateful for their willingness to work with rescue organizations like BARC (Boxer Aide and Rescue Coalition). I have no reservations about recommending them as a good place to take your beloved fur baby.

I brought my 1 year old female German shepherd into this animal clinic for the first time because she is sick. My German shepherd could not hold in food, bad diarrhea, and also was having issues eating her own feces; I explained to the clinic. After having a fecal exam, blood tests and was almost pushed to get my dog unnecessary Bordetella shot, all that was done was her vaccinations. Her blood work and stool samples both came back with out any issues, THEY SAID, and on paperwork shows the dog is in perfect health- BUT SHE IS NOT! This was almost 7 days ago since I had taken her to the clinic. Today I almost lost my dog out of sickness. She wasn’t given any medications or treatment and was sent home after paying almost $200 to be told my sick animal is healthy. My poor 1 year old, I cannot even afford now to be taken in, due to the amount of money I’ve invested already to be told she is FINE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO ANOTHER VET CLINIC!!! Update: After much research and with the help of other certified veterinarians, thanks to my partner who works in a different city as a vet tech, we have discovered my 1yr old German Shepherd has Pancreatic Insufficiency and not receiving enough B12. Symptoms include chronic diarrhea, weight loss, despite a normal or increased appetite, frequent or greater volume of stool and gas, and coprophagia- a condition which causes animals to eat its own stool. All due to Lack Of Digestive Enzymes. Sure wish my veterinarian would’ve treated my dog properly and should have KNOWN better!!! Not a happy client nor is my rib showing, diarrhea having, feces eating puppy that didn’t deserve to not be given actual needed treatment and diagnosis.

I got on live chat back in March. I did get ahold of them a few times.I finally booked an appointment which they did not keep. They called me after hours very cheerfully.. and I tried to show support and appreciation, before I even said my peace.. I told them about my cat and about a prior cat that had FIP and as soon as I said that I was cut off and I got the coronavirus until my head fell off.. also the doctor tried to condescend and make everyone feel like they were lesser than she was on any knowledge or any information. and after saying the coronavirus at least a dozen times while I kept trying to converse I realized the situation was futile.. The other thing that she reminded is that this place wasn't cheap.. To that I said you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get that's how it should be .. to that she said nothing.. my rating is if you value protocol and overpaying for an ego or anything that isn't going to be communication in benefit of your animal or situation, then this is your place. If you're worried about more than a mask and you really care about your animal find someone that will communicate with you instead.. I won't recommend this place or ever go here and it is the closest place to my house I am very regretful to say.. Based on other reviews I've read I didn't try to copy anything or compare anyone because I didn't really get that far this was weeks turns into months and finally I got on the phone my appointment was for 7:30 a m and they called me about 6 p.m. that day so I'm sure they were busy... My cats are my family all I can say is let your conscience be your guide this is the information I have God bless you all
