Karma K9 was the best decision I’ve ever made. My 1 year old husky Luna was out of control and I knew she needed some sort of training. Thanks to Ryann, Luna is very well trained and ready for the public.

6 out of 5 recommend. My pup was super reactive, we had been through multiple training programs and nothing seemed to work. He did the 3 week board and train with karma. I did not know what to expect. After completion of the program, he exceeded all my expectations. Ryann did so well with him and developed an amazing rapport with him. He is just about the MOST picture perfect pup! I get complimented all the time about how obedient my pup is! I’m so grateful for this great experience!

We took our 4 year old Lab to Karma K9 to meet with Ryan to help us with his behavior issues. Our dog was really anxious and reactive with other dogs before the training session, we thought no one could help us after seeking for help at other places. But after doing the 4 weeks training camp with Ryan, our dog is a completely different dog, she did an AMAZING JOB with Aslan (our dog). He is not anxious anymore, we are able to walk him with no problem and not worried of other dogs around and he listens and follows our commands with no problem. A completely changed dog thanks to Ryan and her dedication and willingness to help us.

My 1 year old Cocker Spaniel, Milo, went to Karma K9 for life skill training where he stayed for 4 weeks! It was definitely worth the money and time separated from my fur baby. I am now able to communicate with him more easily and he is house trained, something that was really hard for me to do alone. Melissa was his trainer and she did a fantastic job! My dog is very anxious and she was catering to his needs and made sure that she trained him at his pace. The staff kept me updated on his progress and sent me report cards and also provided me with pictures and videos of him while he was at boot camp. Bootcamp was not only life changing for Milo but also for me as Melissa taught me how to manage Milo’s anxiety. Milo was also more visibly confident after his training! I sometimes take him there for daycare just so he can socialize and play with other dogs. The staff really demonstrates their care for the dogs and give them plenty of play time out in the yards and always have people watching over them. I feel safe leaving my dog there and my dog loves the staff and his trainer! In addition the staff was warm and welcoming to me. I would definitely recommend this place for training, daycare or boarding!

Our trainer for Cooper was Melisa. She was very good with Coop. They seemed to bond right away. I do think he needs some more training with his potty training other wise he did great. My 11 month old German Shepherd Boxer mix started showing signs of fear based aggression towards strangers which made it really difficult to do anything with him as it stressed me out that he could possibly attack someone because he’s scared. We found Karma K9 on Google and the fact that they work with aggressive dogs was the first thing that caught our interest. My pup ended up doing the 4 week Total Transformation Hybrid with Melissa, she kept him for an extra week to really nail down his leash manners, confidence, and muzzle comfort. The end result was night and day for our puppy and we couldn’t be more grateful!! The follow up lessons were great for us to learn how to work with him and we’ve incorporated the training into our home for our other dogs. We’ve returned several times for day care with both dogs and they love it! Always come home exhausted from running and playing all day. Plus side is that they are able to get bathed while they’re at day care so they come home clean as well! 10/10 would recommend Karma K9 for training and day care services.

My extremely anxious and fearful German Shepherd just completed his board and train with Karma K9 with Ryann being his primary trainer and I cannot say enough good things about the training my dog Max received. He learned valuable skills such as the ability to self-soothe as well as a stellar foundation of basic skills such as place. Max's training at Karma K9 has changed our lives. He is now able to relax and integrate with family and friends seamlessly. If you are questioning whether this level of training is worth the time and the money, I can tell you that it is and you should consider this an investment in your family as your dog is a member of the family and will be with you for many years. Melissa at Karma K9 has trained both of my girls, Mavis and River. She has helped me learn more about both of my dogs personality, their motivations, their favorite things to do and she truly treated them like her own. Admittedly, I was nervous about training methods because everyone has opinions. Both of my dogs are rescues, River came from a very traumatic and abusive past prior to me and is tremendously sensitive and she took to Melissa immediately and returned the exact same sensitive loving dog but with wayyy more confidence! Mavis celebrated her first birthday with Melissa and the Karma K9 team and they even sent me birthday photos! She went in with no care in the world to listen and returned very eager and excited to listen and perform her commands. Step One of picking my dogs up was Melissa having me experience the prong collar and stimulation collar on myself - I couldn’t even feel what stimulation my dogs responded to! I am excited to keep working with my dogs and building bonds with them following the great baseline Melissa created for me and I love knowing Melissa is dedicated to my pups success for the rest of their lives! TLDR; Take your dogs to Karma K9 and be ready for them to return with confidence, excitement and happiness to build an enhanced bond with you!

We sent our rescue GSD dover for 6 weeks of training with Melissa, She did a great job with all of our follow up training, had such a good connection with dover, and in general was a pleasure to work with.

We took our Belgian Malinois here for training with Curtis who did an amazing job. We feel very comfortable with leaving our puppy while traveling. Not everyone can handle the neurotic behavior of a Malinois but I have peace of mind they are taking the best care of Odin.

Took my 4 month old to Karma just to try to get a baseline with obedience. He left there with so much confidence, while retaining his funny personality. I cannot recommend Karma enough. We worked with Ryann and she was amazing! She answered all my odd questions and helped me out as a first time owner immensely with her continuous support. Anytime I'm in Jacksonville I will continue to use their services.

My 10 month old Golden Retriever recently attended the Off Leash training Program and since coming home I noticed such a difference! Before he had difficulties learning commands but Melissa and the team did a great job teaching him Off, Sit, how to go for walks better & so much more. I can't thank Melissa and team enough for their great work!

We love Karma K9! My dog is the sweetest dog, but a handful. With a new baby, we were stressing out about how to handle her behavior with a newborn, and training at Karma K9 was the best decision we could have made!

Melissa and the staff provide a wonderful service, after the training our dog came back much more confident, obedient, and calm. Since she was so smart she would constantly look for stimulus and it created a sense of anxiety, it was difficult for her to relax for a prolonged period. She does fantastic on walks now and doesn't pull the leash at all. When we take her back to board her during vacations she is excited to see her friends again so we don't feel guilty being away from her, which is wonderful while we are away. We would not consider boarding her anywhere else, this is her home away from home. So happy we found them.

We enlisted the help of Karma k-9 for help with my six year old mix breed who was having some reactivity issues and overly dominant behavior. She did a six week board and train with Melissa as her trainer. She is a completely different dog! She listens So well and is overall a much calmer dog. We even bring her back regularly for mail trims and boarding and she gets so happy to see Melissa every time! I would definitely recommend Karma K-9 for anyone struggling to get to the root of their dogs issues. Totally with the time and money!

Amazing !! The trainers are all top in the industry, my dog is more obedient than I could have ever gotten him to be on my own. Him and his trainer are still best friends till this day !

Our boy Corvo went through the 6 week aggressive dog camp. He is a 4 year old german shepherd who is extremely protective and was massively aggressive towards anyone outside of his pack. He was paired with Melissa and she did an amazing job. She constantly shared photos of the training sessions and we really looked forward to every Fridays report card. He has shown a massive amount improvement. The two of them bonded and became so close. Its nice to know that Corvo will always have a friend in her.

I can not speak higher of the Karma K9 team for everything they did for training and taking care of my 8 year old lab! If you need help with your pup definitely give them a call!! He did the off leash training program a little over a year ago and I still bring him there for boarding whenever I leave town. He is always so excited to see everyone again. Karma k9 has helped us get control over our dog from being overly dog aggressive all the way to walking on a leash without pulling. Marley is now able to walk past dogs without being reactive. Marley also had problems with jumping on people when they entered our home and now with the place command our guest are able to come over and get settled before he greets them. Our trainer Curtis has made this experience so wonderful. Curtis takes as much time with the dog and owners to insure they understand everything needed to be successful with the training. I would highly recommend bringing your dog here if they have any behaviors you need help correcting!

We could not be happier with the results that we've seen from BOTH of our dogs. Chevelle, graduated from the 4 week training program in 2015, and our young wild man, Maui, just graduated in July. He was a handful, due to his limitless energy, but they worked wonders with him, and also taught US how to properly communicate with him!! He is just the most perfect little gentleman man now, but is still the same goofy ball of love that he was when we dropped him off. Melissa and Jason are simply the best! We regularly take him back for slumber parties on weekends to let him play w the dogs and staff, and his excitement upon arrival is very obvious! Karma K9 is very accommodating and did a great job training our puppy (jameson) in the puppy program. Jameson is well behaved but still has her upbeat personality, the training gave her so much confidence. We cannot thank Melissa enough, she is amazing and you can tell she puts her all into the dogs she trains. Jameson gets so excited anytime we bring her back for daycare or boarding.
