Forever Vets Animal Hospital at Riverside Jacksonville, Florida

I will forever recommend Forever Vets to anyone I know in the area. They were nothing but absolutely helpful with us. After a really long day & a really hard time deciding to put our cat down, they exceeded my expectations. We first went to First Coast No more homeless pets & I told them from the beginning I wanted a Feline Leukemia test done because my cat was showing all of the symptoms. They eventually came back & never told me they ran the test but they recommended euthanizing our 2 year old cat without even any further examination or details to what was wrong. They simply said he was too far gone. When we actually decided to put our cat down, they told us we would not be able to be with him but we could spend a few minutes with him. I then decided I was not okay with that & called other vets in the area & forever vets fit me right in. When I arrived they immediately put me into a room, asked questions, ran the feline test, it was negative & the Dr recommended that we run blood work to really see what was going on. We did have to put him down due to FIP & his decline in condition, but they were 100% welcoming & easy going. Really comforting. They knew I was coming in to euthanize my cat but tried their best to see what was actually going on. Dr. Dyer is really great. I’m glad that my parker boy was in good hands when he passed peacefully. They even helped me with the cost & didn’t charge me for the euthanization. I recommend them 100x over!

They were so professional and clean sanitary they offer coffee water anything to take care of you and your fur animal you don’t have to wait long with them you sit in the room with your animal they take such good care of your animals I definitely recommend this vet !!!!

These guys are on point. Switched over to them after we felt like we were getting inadequate care for our golden retriever puppy somewhere else. Ever since switching over to this location we have been very well taken care of. From the receptionists to the doctors/techs, these guys are top notch. After a pretty invasive surgery our golden retriever is healing incredibly well and almost back to 100% Last week our older dog ripped through the trash and ate some bones, they were able to get her in quickly, X-rays to make sure she was okay, updated a couple of her vaccinations and sent me home with some medication to help with nausea. She is now doing well. Thanks forever vets for your continued support & help with our animals

Called on a Sunday afternoon... Miniature Pinscher had something stuck under her tongue- a splinter, possibly? We had never been to FVAH before and assumed it would be an "emergency" vet- being open on a Sunday and all... 1st positive experience- being told they were not considered an emergency vet hospital 2nd their office fee was about $50?! (Which is unheard of!) 3rd the staff greeted us as if we'd been patients there for years, yet I was a frantic mess (not my proudest moment), worried sick about my dog and the bill to come... They took our girl back and darn, if they couldn't find anything! 4th the tech said 5 people looked and felt around her mouth! Talk about a second opinion!?! 5th they didn't charge us one penny! I'm certain it's because we didn't actually see the doctor- nevertheless, they didn't even charge us for taking the techs time... On a Sunday! ???? 6th They called the next morning to check on our girl and made sure she was still feeling ok...! Bonus- the entire place was SO CLEAN!!! The waiting room and exam room... Just beautiful! Needless to say, we will be removing our two girls from the current vet to Forget Vets Animal Hospital. ????

From the ease of scheduling to the care they took with both of our fur babies, everything was great! Definitely 5 ⭐️!

Vet Tech Jade was so helpful and understanding. I look forward to bringing my dog here for a long time. Dr. Dyer is the best!

They were very sweet and professional and provided information we could even take home to make sure we know exactly what they are treating our pup for. My dog loved it there and they gave her treats!

All staff was very friendly and gentle with Kai. It was super easy to get an appointment and the vet answered all my questions.

People wonderful with a GR8 location for Riverside. My pup is handled like a prince every time (and he is a prince ???? :). Seriously, a well run place. Thankful they opened.

Hands-down the best animal hospital in FL. I recently moved to Jacksonville, and my 7 year old cat was experiencing some issues. The day I called they were willing to accommodate me. Front staff and vet techs go above and beyond to make sure you feel at ease. Jade, the vet tech who helped me today, answered all my questions and was incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Dyer is ridiculously kind and takes her time with her patients. I would rate this more than 5 stars if I was allowed to! I cannot thank everyone who works here enough for helping my cat, George ❤️

I called all over the city looking for care for a young stray pregnant cat that I took in the night before calling and finally found Forever Vets. At first they we're fully booked for the day but the receptionist checked the schedule again and saw two same day openings. That got me because NONE of the other vets did that! When I walked in, the building was beautiful; didn't look like any of the dark, somewhat dismal looking clinics I've been in. Everyone was upbeat (or at least looked like they enjoyed working there) and were very friendly. The level of ownership and care they took for our situation was amazing. I was excited the entire time simply because of the staff's energy and responsibility. The doctor was so nice and let me take footage of the ultrasound scan. Although I only purchased the ultrasound but wanted an x-ray, as well, she threw it in at NO ADDED COST! And that is more than the ultrasound! As the visit came to an end, Sarah made sure I had a wellness plan in place and had all the aftercare info needed since I decided to care for the young cat through the rest of her pregnancy and get her spayed some time after the birth. Overall, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every minute and every interaction with this clinic. Just got another kitten and he will be on a wellness plan here also! LOVE this clinic!

Dr. Miller is the best vet to see and always makes sure she thoroughly examines my dogs. My animals have been seeing her for years.

My dog, Beau, needed to be seen emergently the other week and I truly believe FVR saved his life. Dr. Miller was thorough and so knowledgeable. She included me in his plan of care and I felt like she really cared about Beau as if he were her dog. She also took the time to help me write up a letter for his pet insurance after everything was said and done. I can’t say thank you enough to the tech/nurse Rei. She gave me regular updates all day and listened to me cry. I knew Beau was in good hands! My other non-emergent appointments have been great as well- Dr. Dyer and the rest of the staff are top notch. Very happy to be a part of the Forever Vet Riverside family!

I wouldn’t change anything about our visit. We took our baby to the riverside location, as soon as we walked in they weighed her and took us straight to the room. They treated us and my baby so good!

I had a great experience at Forever Vets. I used to go to a competitor vet who also offered a wellness plan and there was always some problem with scheduling or hidden fees or something that was unpleasant about the experience. I didn’t have any of those issues here. I got on the wellness plan, all the fees and prices were stated up front over the phone and when I got there and actually signed up, nothing had changed. It’s so rare that the quote matches the actual price and it really did here and that made me very happy. Also, the service was great, the wait time was minimal, they took very good care of my anxious puppy. They gave great advice for how to fix some of her behavioral issues. I didn’t even know that Forever Vets existed until I was looking into Kanine Social’s daycare and I saw that they have a vet in house. I think it’ll be great to have a vet right there at the daycare that is familiar with my dog because she is very tiny and accidents happen and she may need help one day. I plan to be a lifelong Forever Vets customer going forward.

The staff was awesome, the energy and interaction with my baby Ga was soo delightful and a pleasure to see. And what made it even better I had talk to an associate the day before and her suggestion worked. She was so polite she said”May I suggest something” I was impressed from just that. My baby new Veterinarian home????

Took my dog in to have her Bordetella booster given, she was late for it because their system doesn't notify you of upcoming necessities, we only received the email a month after she was overdue, and we'd already scheduled an appointment at that point. office staff is incompetent, any time i call i have to beg for information and get told "i dont know" more often than not. Leading to frustration on my part, if the office staff doesnt know things, then how are pet parents supposed to be informed?? Calling to get a prescription refilled was like pulling teeth, then picking it up the next day was a pain because again, the office staff didnt know what was going on. The Dr herself is lovely. But the office staff needs some training on customer service, patient care, and overall professionalism. Lastly, they offer nail trims, and charge $15 for it, even if they cannot complete the job, don't ask me why a vet's office can only get 2 of the 10 nails trimmed... Overall this is a very corporate, money hungry vet's office. Go elsewhere.

Our pup got into something toxic this morning and we had to rush her in. She was declining quickly and we were terrified. Dr. Miller and the staff that helped us today were AMAZING. We are so grateful that they were there to help us and our pup is now recovering at home. The pet plan also helped us with costs and I am so glad that we were signed up for it when we needed it.

I came into this animal hospital, after having a horrible experience at San Marco Animal Hospital. My puppy unexpectedly passed in her sleep and in my grief of loosing her , I also had to make accommodations for her body properly. We are new to Jacksonville and had not established a vet home yet so I was left to navigate finding one. After being completely disregarded and disrespected within my grief, I called Forever Vets and the first woman who answered the phone was so caring and helpful, while also respecting my grief. Once I got in, everyone I interacted with provided such amazing customer service. I wasn’t made to get my puppy out of her kennel, they completely took over and treated her as if she was still here with how she was wrapped up and held. I have one surviving dog who I will be happily bringing for follow up care in the future. Thank you to everyone who supported me today.

I love the staff but once you in room the price start off good but here comes money hite. I took 2 dogs there I came out my pocket with the package 300.00 just for shots, 1 dog ear cleaning,lab text for ear bacteria. She kept running the meter up smh.

Service & care are top-notch, if a bit pricey. Location is super convenient for me & I have high level of trust in them.

I would never take my personal pets here. I tried getting help from them for the semi feral cats and kittens living around that street. They offered zero help and proceeded to just ramble off the cost to spay, vaccinate and get flea meds. They clearly only care about the bottom dollar. After asking around and driving to a different clinic I found out about the feral cat program at FCNMHP but it would have been nice if they would have given me this info and saved me some time. I guess they don't care if they end up with 100s of cats by next year, which is what would've happened since there were 2 female kittens and 1 male along with the momma cat.

Our dog cut her paw badly on glass and we called them 30 minutes before they closed but they refused to see her. I wouldn’t take your pet here if they care that little about an injured animal.

I brought two cats here. One for a skin rash, and another for ear problems. I told the tech to give a check-up to both kitties, thinking they would get to the root of the problems I was having. Instead they took them into another room and supposedly gave them a bunch of shots that totaled almost $600. Dr. Dyer brought them back and said she didn't notice anything wrong with either of them. Fast forward 3-4 months - the rash has progressed and the ear problems were treated at home. It seems shady and irresponsible to say you don't notice a problem with black gunk in my cat's ears, or the scabbing across my cat's back. More than dissatisfied, I feel conned.

They did not care about my pet, all they cared about was how much money they could get from me!
