They'll gladly hear any questions or concerns you have and will help inform you how to keep your bird happy and healthy. Again, very professional people, very clean and positive atmosphere. I wholeheartedly couldn't recommend Exotic Bird Hospital enough!

My guinea pig has bumblefoot so I took him to this vet recently. I was amazed at the care the nurse and vet had! Very kind and the vet explained everything thoroughly including the pricing. He has to get minor surgery, x-rays and blood work, I expected it to be very expensive but the price was very reasonable! Thank you guys♥️

They are genuinely concerned for my bird's welfare... I am pleasantly surprised at the level of service I and my bird have received. The doctors call me , often daily , to give me updates... I would recommend to anyone who needs medical pet care , this is where you need to go !

Dr. Stevenson and staff have cared for my birds since 1986. Their care and expertise made it possible for my cockatiel, Maguay, to reach his 34th birthday, my Nanday conure, Houdini, to reach his 26th birthday, and my Blue & Gold macaw< Max, to still be a handful after reaching his 35th birthday. We moved to the Sarasota area in 2013, but I drive back to Jacksonville for Max's medical needs. Finding an avian vet with Dr. Stevenson's skill, knowledge, creativity, ingenuity, and expertise is impossible. No other veterinary practice in the state of Florida can compare to EBH. Take your bird to EBH, you will be glad you did!!

I meant to post this a while back, but we had such a positive experience here. We drove over an hour because our local veterinarians could not get us in for an appointment soon enough. We had just taken in a little rescue tiel with an overgrown beak. They got us in almost immediately. When we arrived, there was little to no wait time. The forms they asked us to complete were thorough but not overwhelming. I've taken in rescue parrots before and have been to practices where the techs jump all over me and start lecturing before knowing the bird was a rescue. That was NOT the case here. The staff was very welcoming, got the full picture first, did the exam and beak trim with ease, and didn't try to back us into a corner and add on services we didn't request. Very professional and worth the drive. We plan on using them again soon.

I take my surgar gliders there . Had to have maxwell fixed and the doctor did a very good job . They are very good people there. They treat us very good . The doctor has very good knowledge about sugar gliders . I recommend them to anyone that has sugar gliders . The most important thing is the care about your babies and you as well.

Went in to pick up medication for a bird I was pet sitting for. Staff extremely helpful, nice, and welcoming. Kermit even seemed too like me! I would love to go back just to talk to their birds. ????

This place, WOW! Called them and was able to book an appointment immediately for the following day. They took great care of my exotic pet, all of my concerns were talked about and examainated. The enviroment is welcoming and the staff is super friendly. This place holds no judgemental feelings toward you or the situation in hand! Need to get your exotic pet checked? I brought in my sick cockatiel expecting my poor baby to be helped, but instead my tech Sky was incredibly unprofessional and not compassionate whatsoever. Every question I asked was met with a condescending, rude response. She was not informative at all, and would not give me any straight answers. When I asked her to go back over my baby’s medications with me, it really felt like she was talking down to me. I left with no concrete answers on my babys diagnosis, and left feeling extremely disrespected. AFTER I poured hundreds of dollars into this establishment. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone that genuinely cares about their pets.

They see more than just birds! Thank you for being one and a chameleon (one in a million!) for seeing our Spyro! And for answering the phone, unlike other places. And being able to take us that day since an emergency. Very friendly and professional, they stay busy but well worth the wait!

The best care!!! This is my first hedgehog and I was so worried about him and the staff were so understanding about another emergency I had making me late. They were so prompt and clearly care so much, they explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions. Dr. Smith was amazing and my hedgehog is all better thanks to them!

The Dr.s and staff are amazing . Treated my bird and I very well. Once there on time for our appointment I've had a fairly long wait. Do not expect your bill to be low. That said good treatment.
