I took my 9 year old dog there and they did so good with him!! He has anxiety and they were able to keep him calm during his shots. They gave him so much love during and afterwards. I will definitely be bringing him back!!

I took my little 8 week puppy Bailey into Deerwood Animal Clinic this morning and I had a great experience! The staff was more than friendly with my puppy and I could tell they genuinely cared about her well-being. Dr.Williams was polite and professional and explained everything very clearly. I’m glad I chose this veterinarian clinic for my puppy.

As new patients we were delighted with the services provided at the clinic. Before our appointment they broke down the process and set our expectations for how the visit would go. They also sent an estimate with a break down of the individual costs. Once we actually got to our appointment the staff was super friendly and loving to our two pups. Meredith and Gypsy had an easy transition to their new clinic being provided many treats and pets before and after their vaccines. You can tell Dr.Williams genuinely enjoys what she does. She listened to our concerns and made sure to bring them up throughout her assessment. Could not have asked for a better experience! To set the bar even higher Dr.Williams sends out a video explaining any lab results that were sent out like blood work and stool samples. Our pups haven't been to the vet throughout Covid so we were pretty nervous about the results but at the end of the video Dr.Williams thanked us for taking good care of our pups and reassured us that we were doing a good job. Thank you!

Absolutely love the staff, didn't think I'd find a nice vet to make up for our old one but , they made a great impression.

Incredibly kind and caring staff.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Williams for ten years. Dr. Williams is a good vet when you can get an appt. However, the office culture has shifted in the past year to almost all texting, no call backs, a closed office to pet parents even though every business is seeing patients on office now, no available appts when your pet is in dire need and a general attitude of we’re too busy now and have so many new patients the older ones are tossed to the side. I’ve been patient and understanding and made Dr. Williams aware that the care level was in decline a few months ago to just have things get worse. It saddens me to have to leave this clinic but necessary to ensure my 16 year old aging beloved fragile chihuahua is treated with what’s best for her care instead of being tossed aside because they’ve taken on too many patients and can’t manage staffing levels. It’s a shame and I’ve referred several people to her clinic for which I will be letting know my experience. I requested a call to speak directly to Dr. Williams about the concerns and got a general benign careless email back from staff. NO LONGER A VET U CAN COUNT ON!

Would give 0 stars if possible. They will only provide scripts for medications if you buy them directly through their office at a higher cost, and even withhold medications if you ask to buy them elsewhere. They’re now withholding providing my cat insulin, which is quite evil and sickening. Please take your animal elsewhere if you care about them. This is a shady business above a clinic.

Our elderly cat had very recently been acting unlike herself. The staff was able to work her in immediately on an emergency basis. Unfortunately, we did not receive good news, but Dr. Williams and her staff were very compassionate and gave us all the information that we needed.

the Vet is very nice, helpful, and professional. Dr. Williams and her team always get right back to me when I call to ask a question. They understand how concerned I am about my fur-babies and respect that I treat my pets like family members. They give a high amount of importance to their patients. They've also been very accommodating during the Covid-19 issues and I'm glad they've been able to stay open and take care of my pets. I like that I can call and they'll talk with me over the phone (I have a "special needs" kitty). it's so much nicer than having to drag the "kids" into the vet for every little thing. I really appreciate that about this team.

Very good very office. Caring and always looking out for your animals. Will say doc only does written perscription so makes it a little hard to buy products online. That aside it is a great place to bring your animals.

My dog was very ill and I called them on a Tuesday afternoon and received an appointment for the next morning. The staff was friendly from the beginning to the end and they demonstrated a genuine concern for my dog. They were very thorough in explaining everything that was needed and all that had to be done to bring him back to health. Due to the Covid-19, the Vet was awesome as well with the live video chat while my dog was in the exam room and she explained everything with patience and concern. I will always go back to them if I have any issues.

I feel very confident in Dr Williams and her staff. Always caring and takes time to explain any procedures.

Tried charging me 1700$ for a Parvo treatment they said most likely won’t work. Didn’t give me any other choice to cure my puppy. It’s been 6 days and we’ve given the puppy fluids and food and she survived it. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC, they care more about the money than the actual dog itself.

Being a new pet owner, there are lots of questions. They are outstanding! They treat you and your pet like family.

We have used another Vet for years but since they have been bought out by VCA the service and quality have gone way down. Our diabetic cat recently passed away and we decided to get a kitten, I took her to my old vet twice and kept getting the run around about her eye being cloudy. So I decided to try Dr. Williams because I heard wonderful things about her even though it’s a drive to get to her office from our house in Orange Park but 100% worth it. I was definitely not disappointed, Dr. Williams was able to figure out her problem on the first visit. Needless to say, I will be taking all of our animals to Deerwood Animal Hospital from now on. Wonderful and down to earth doctor. Very kind staff that is extremely knowledgeable. The technicians are highly intelligent and can answer questions and are very patient. The receptionists are extremely helpful as well. I recommend this practice!

My cats have been feline patients at Deerwood Animal Clinic for over 16 years. The staff and doctor are very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to my cats when the need arises for a feline exam. They treat each of my cats as if it were their own, and they take time to explain any diagnoses and treatment plans as a result of any health issues. I have received follow-up phone calls to inquire how the cats are doing after office visits. My last two visits were during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the office provided curb-side service due to the lobby being closed for safety reasons. I must say, the curb-side service was top notch!! They had everything planned like clockwork: how they would register pet-patients by phone from the car; retrieve pet-patients from the owners, call the owner once the doctor had examined the patient, process the payment over the phone, and deliver the patient back to the owner's car. That's what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

They let me bring my cat in at the last minute when another vet fell through and they were amazing! They are flexible and have a very caring staff!
