They have been my veterinarian clinic since the early nineties, caring for my last 3 canines. They are knowledgeable and compassionate.

Got me into the office same day, did an excellent job. explained everything to me.

Everyone is very friendly and you can get right in.

God. Literally just got off the phone with the receptionist asking about my pet's "first free visit" that it states he gets from the shelter I got him from. She cut me off before I could even finish my question and was very matter of fact that they do not do free visits. She was extremely rude about it. Money wasn't an issue I was just inquiring about the free first visit on his paperwork from the shelter. It read to bring him there for his first visit for it to be free or discounted. She did not have to be rude and basically yell and talk over me.

I love the staff, had to wait because of emergencies glad to wait.

Best vet and staff ever! My dog has been suffering with allergies for years, we had tried everything and spent a lot of money with no luck until we found this place. He is perfectly fine and healthy now thanks to them. Highly recommend!

I had a very good experience with Dr. Hightman. I practice naturopathic medicine with myself, my loved ones, and my animals, so we avoid white-coats. (This is not an invitation to debate on my choice of medicine, but a precursor for what I'm about to say) I reluctantly came to the clinic to get a blood draw and ended up having a nice conversation with Dr. Hightman. I am positive that he and I do not align perfectly in our ideas/theories on what constitutes good medicine, but I didn't feel pressured to adopt any other systems of medicine. I felt supported to practice what ever methods I felt were right for my pets. It was something that I've never experienced with a physician before. I think that if I'm ever in a situation where naturopathy isn't working (every system has flaws), and I'm in need of osteopathy or even homeopathy, then this is where I will be taking my pets. So as someone who has a generalized distrust of the medical community, I would feel comfortable recommending this practice to friends and family members - something that I can't say about any other veterinary clinician or clinic within a 100 mile radius. The lady Pam is pretty rude. Called about me animal that was dying might I add I have been to this place 20+ time's. Doc and everyone else are always nice. But I Tell you Pam has no social skills at least not proper. she will put a bad taste in your mouth instantly over the phone. But I have gotten this more than once out of her I believe if the owner knew the way she answered the phone he would probably be embarrassed and ashamed. Other than Pam and her negative attitude everything usually goes pretty smooth and well

Brentwood goes above and beyond. We were in a bind with our dog's medication that has to be special ordered. They drove to another pet hospital, picked up the special medication and had it for us the next morning (Saturday). We love this place and really appreciate how much they care for their pets. cannot recommend enough.

Dr. Hightman and his staff are beyond exceptional. They have been vet for 21 years!

It was a good visit very attentive to my furry friend.

I cannot thank this place enough!! My dog was unable to walk on one leg and I could not get in anywhere. I got a SAME DAY appt and Dr. Lynn is a GOD SEND as well as all of the staff. Very thorough, compassionate, takes her time, hardly a wait, and all around amazing! I have been through many vets in Jacksonville and i come from Jax Beach because they are worth it (and I don’t even leave the beach for anything else). Thank you to everyone here ???????????? I will forever be grateful!

Dr. Hightman and staff do a great job at this clinic, which is not in the best area of town. I used to drive there from the beach for my dog who has since passed at a ripe old age of 14. Always recommend Dr Hightman's opinion and veterinary expertise. I have met several others who trust this vet completely and drive quite a distance for their animals to receive acupuncture as well as other treatments. The clinic is not fancy, but the doctor is great!

If I could give Zero Stars I would I wouldn't recommend this Place if You love your pets go To pet's Mart Or Herschel's Animal Clinic great service.Brentwood Animal Clinic Killed my Pet and Tried to cover It up before the vist Dog was Every Alert.Staff so insensitive and very cold after my Dog died.. they went as Far As trying to get her Cremated And even though she died I was still required to spend the $400

I think I've found my new vet for years to come! Wait time wasn't too long, ladies at the front desk are friendly, prices are competitive. I love the fact that they want pet parents to be a part of the process, not just "I'll take your dog in the back and do all these tests" and then you have to trust what they're telling you about results. The tech even let me hold onto my German Shepherd while she drew blood and talked to him during the process to reassure him (which sounds like common practice but isn't among a lot of vets I've been to). Dr Hightman took the time to show us test results and was really wonderful with our dog. You can tell he really cares about the animals and the people who take care of them! Not just a great vet, but a wonderful person!

Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Vets treat your animals with so much care as if they where their own. Dr Hightman knows and uses eastern and western medicine and uses which ever is the best for your animal. Love it here.

I thank the lord for Brentwood animal hospital these people are my heart that saved my cat name Precious years ago done surgery on her leg and the exactly a year later when she got hit by a car again saved her life but she did loose her eye the second and still has being taking care of my pets about 1984 and I don't trust anyone else with my pets their the best
