When we started using them the staff and support was great. Lately (within last 3-6 months), the service has degraded. Front desk slow to get back to you or fails to call you back. Doctors not available during routine hours. Frequently sending me elsewhere for care. Looking for someone new.

Great place it has friendly staff clean environment great place to go for your pet

I have been taking my dog here for a few years. They are a vet... nothing more really to say. Friendly, caring, and follow up to ensure the doggie is doing well after the visit. Frankly, if they weren't worth going to... I wouldn't! So, I guess I am saying I trust them enough to come back.

They are very caring. Explained everything they were doing as well. Very gentle with my animal.

We have been using Alta Animal Hospital for the last year. The customer service we receive has been good.The pricing has been fair. The Doctors have diagnosed our pets and they have gotten it right every time. So far, they have earned a 5 star rating.

Super nice staff and treated our dog like a king.... But the $$$ cost $$$ was high????

Every time i try to use this vet its a hassel and theyre rude and not understanding that things happen. Please use another vet and save your money.

Edit: our Kitty is sick again.. This time, my husband took her elsewhere (St. Bernard's). Come to find out our kitty is full blown Diabetic and will need insulin the rest of her life. As soon as she urinated, they found glucose. They confirmed everything via blood work then kept her all day and evening to test her reaction to insulin. I'm really disappointed that my previous visit at Alta Bluff did not find this information. Moving to 3 stars because the support staff was amazing. I just wish they would have diagnosed my kitty correctly. Absolutely loved this place. We visited today due to our Kitty having a UTI. I did not know we were supposed to call from the parking lot, and walked right in. Instead of greeting me disgruntly, someone came over to me right away and took my Kitty to an exam room. They were so sweet walking me through everything and setting up a future plan for her vaccinations.

I don't know about the Doctors because the front desk girl who answers the phone is soooooooo rude & impatient. I was trying to bring in my 18yr old dachshund mix for his yearly and she was so rude I was in tears at the thought of leaving him with them so I canceled the appointment. The main Doc responded to my email saying she would like to talk I said yes, I can talk monday. Haven't heard another thing. My 3 dogs are my kids, I do not trust people who act like this, if the Doc really cared she would have made absolutely sure we talked about the problem. IF YOU ARE IN HEALTHCARE YOU NEED TO BE KIND & COMPASIONATE!

Best vet. When your dog loves going to the vet you know they are doing something right. Too bad the office staff has such high turnover. The new ones are horrible and will make you want to change vets.

Would not recommend. I am an established client. took my puppy for grooming, she returned with an ear infection and two big cuts under her neck which also got infected. The office still charged me for treatment of such infections. Recently took puppy for boarding they changed the pricing and did not inform me, i asked for the manager to request previous pricing be honored since they never informed me.Manager did not come to phone and refused to honor pricing. Deciving practices unfair to customer. will not return.

This is the best animal hospital/veterinary office we have ever used. They are friendly, they can get you same day if you have an emergency. They actually make me feel like they care about my animals! They are the best!

Many years ago when the office first opened, their help save my Emma. She was almost a year old and came down with parvovirus. I didn’t have the money to take her to the hospital for the higher level of care she needed. So in stead we came up with plan B. The cost was 1/2. I brought her into office daily pickup before closing. For almost a week. Ever since I bring all my fur babies there. Get the best of care. Oh and Emma is 13 now. Older still hates car rides. But I have two healthy and slightly spoiled babies

This vet clinic is horrible. I took my cat in to be treated for a small infection, the vet told me to bring her in a week from the date of our appointment, but an hour after giving her medication that they prescribed she had a seizure and died. She was only a year and a half and was healthy besides the small infection in her scent gland. I would not recommend anyone take their pets to this facility. The vets didn’t even know the gender of my cat when they spoke to me about treatment. And took no responsibility for her death.

I love the vet and staff but more importantly my boys love it there too. I feel like we always get the best care and I know the doctor and staff care about my babies. I feel like I get more for the money I spend. I found medications are cheaper through this vet then they are through pharmacies or on line.

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies!

My cat got hit by a car today went there they said doctors will be here at 8 ok we go back at 8 still no doctor has to be the worst customer service I’ve lived here for 19 years and I will never go back in the place ever again

They are great for your pets

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I messed up the time of the appt and the staff did their best to get us in. They even made numerous calls to our previous vet to try and get Bentley's records.

Everyone was so nice! so glad I chose them for my new rescue baby!!! I could tell he liked them as well!
