As soon as I moved to Jacksonville from across the country with no one but my 3 cats, my little guy's "sore tooth or throat" (I thought) required an appointment with our new vet ASAP. When they told me that it was advanced stomatitis, and the best treatment would be a full-mouth dental extraction, I was in full-blown panic over the money I didn't have and whether or not this was good for my young cat's future.I did my research but didn't feel I needed a second opinion...that's when you call a cat expert...and I already had. Pricing was reasonable with their payment plan as an option just in case. One week after surgery he was trying to eat solid food, and he's so much happier now! Every single visit has been so pleasant, the staff is so kind and caring, and the quiet, clean smelling environment is perfect for vet-stressed cats. If you're on the fence, just schedule the appointment! You won't regret it!

When my cat was dying due to their negligence, we called them and the receptionist told us "we close in 15 minutes." The people that work there are absolutely heartless. Your cat deserves better than for you to take them there.

We have been taking our cats to the cat clinic for a few years. We have seen all three doctors over the years, and most recently we have primarily seen Dr. Takacs. She is very kind, thorough, flexible, and compassionate and I love the electronic notes she emails after every visit. It makes a huge difference that this vet only sees cats. My girl, Snippet, seemed much less distressed about it than when I've gone to general practice vets in the past. They're all very courteous, and they know what they're doing. I'll be going to this clinic whenever possible for my girl's care.

First visit today with my 8 year old male kitty. Very impressed.. Gentle loving care. Felt very welcomed. I won't be going anywhere else but here with Abraham.

Very good care. Pleasant atmosphere for your felines because it's cats only. Which makes the visit a little less stressful for them.

They were pretty good with my very fractious cat. They handled her well. The dental estimate was quite high as compared to my regular vet.

I recently took in a kitten from the highway and had ZERO knowledge of cats! I had a very positive experience here! Everyone was so kind and incredibly competent. This will be our Cat Clinic for now on. They weren't patronizing at all regarding some of my basic questions, and now my kitten is peeing all on her own. They're worth their price. ????

I took my Bengal kitten Lilith in for the first time today and had nothing but the best of experiences with them. They were quick and helpful and the doctor came out and gave me a run through of everything that happened. The prices are fair and at the end they even gave us a peacock feather for a Lil to play with. Glad I found them and would recommend them to anyone that has a kitty.

They are excellent at caring for kitties. They listen to your advice on how to handle your kitties if they are grouchy . Jody is EXCELLENT! The other staff members have been nice , too. The staff is so kind to pets and their parents. The vets do their best.

A Cat Clinic has taken care of my babies for several years now. They are knowledgeable and passionate in their care. They were also very honest and compassionate when it came to the condition of my senior cat and decisions we had to make. I'd recommend them to anyone with cats.

I will never choose any other vet clinic to take my kitties. This place is amazing quality and the staff love what they do and they love and take care of every single animal that walks to the stores. They also care for every single owner that walk through those doors! I was a nervous wreck before my kitty had to go into surgery and they made sure to call me before his surgery, while he was under anesthesia, right when he got out of surgery, right before I picked him up to give me updates and to let me know how he was doing and to reassure me that he was doing great. I’ve never had another vet clinic take the time to keep me so in the loop of what’s happening and It really calmed my nerves to be able to know what was going on. They take such good care of my kitties every time I bring them and I will never ever ever take them to anywhere else!

I've taken my cat to other vets and even tried a vet that visited the house to treat my tabby who does not like strangers. All attempts were unsuccessful and vets even said "it's not work treating her" because she was so defensive. The staff at A Cat Clinic was outstanding. They were certain that they would be able to care for my cat no matter what. They treated her, gave shots, and trimmed her nails in 15 minutes without sedating her. I'm amazed and so grateful. Their level of care cannot be beat.

This is one of jacksonville's best vets I couldn't see bring my cats to any one else. I can't say anything bad about them

Dr. Roger's and her staff are amazing! My Siamese who are generally scared of the vet have actually fallen asleep in her office. During her exams, she goes at the cats pace, sometimes getting down on the floor with my cats, sometimes setting them on a small exam table by a window...so they get distracted by the squirrels outside! In addition, I find her "less can be best" attitude refreshing. So, when she recommends a treatment or test, I know my cat really needs it. They are the best vet office we have ever had!
