Extremely rude staff. Told me to go somewhere else when I explained my dog was having a seizure. Never going here again, always a bad experience.

Called, before coming, to get an advice, they said that the doctor will be available after operation, in two hours. An hour after I went there with my cat peeing with blood, the woman opened surprised and said that she can't accept me there and send me to another clinic. Is this 24/ 7 emergency clinic ???? And I was almost crying, my cat was in critical condition. Very unprofessional and cold hearted clinic !!!

I wanted to take the time to thank the Doctor and staff. The day before Thanksgiving, I had to bring my 7 year old yorkie for emergency surgery. The office was extremely busy with many different cases. But the doctor came in and took his time in examining her and explaining the process. In about 3 hours I was in and out. In the meantime, The staff were constantly coming in and letting me know that they haven’t forgotten about me. They admitted her on a Wednesday and I picked her up on Saturday afternoon. Every-time I called no one ever gave me any hassle, I always got an update… Thank you again a thousand times!!!!!

I came here for my male cat that was very sick. Staff was kind and very helpful. I’m a new pet owner and I was scared out of my mind but they calmed me down and gave me advice on how to proceed without paying exorbitant amounts for unnecessary tests. I really appreciated this and they were right. My little Minou got much better. They only charged me for what I needed and were crystal clear on what they did and why he needed it or why he didn’t need it. Thank you guys so much you saved my little gremlin ☺️

Something went wrong during my cat's blood draw which they did not tell me about or direct any treatment for this complication. It has been over three months and I am still grieving the loss of my precious young friend.

This is the second time I come to this hospital. I had a good experience the first time. However, this second time around I was treated very unprofessional by one of their workers. It is very sad that one rotten apple has ruined my opinion about this place. I came to pickup my dog, after calling several times throughout the day, and when I got there she was not ready. The lady told me I had to come back. I told her that I lived very far and she yelled at me and replied, “Everyone lives far and come here because of the price”. Now I don’t know what she means by that, but the only reason I come here it’s because they saved my dog’s life. In addition, to making that comment she proceeded by yelling at me. She asked me to come in the waiting room and slammed the door and started talking about me very loud with another employee. Whoever is in charge of this animal hospital please look into providing this lady customer service assistance. It is obvious that she is not happy working there and takes it out on the customers who instead she should be thankful for; if it wasn’t for customers like me she will not have a job. I really pray for this lady as I can tell that she is a very unhappy human being as I also pray for the animals she comes in contact with.

You guys are wrong, the worst staff! Maybe you have procedures but you guys don't follow them. After Wendy passed away we called numerous of times, I have the calls in my phone, to get an update about the ashes and each time we called you guys always said we waiting for the aches they normally come in Mondays and Fridays evenings. No one never told us hey we have Wendy's body hear waiting for payment never was I told this NOT ONCE! We wait two months and now because we call asked what going on is almost 2 months waiting someone said let me find out what goin on. And then you guys said payment must be made before we send her for cremation. Also, when Wendy passed away your office didn't even call us, WE CALLED AGAIN and your office said "Oh we are sorry but Wendy passes away about 20 minutes ago". Train your staff and doctors to communicate is what your next office meeting should be on! I will stop by the hospital to pay for her cremation but I want to see this is our Wendy! Also she didn't passed away for pancriasis you guys didn't find out was wrong with her until she passed away and did the autopsy. Please before answering back talk to the doctor and get your facts together.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place from start to finish suckeddddd ! Super rude staff, I wouldn't recommend any to come here! Even did stuff without letting us know, then after our dog had the needed surgery was an additional $600... without first letting us know anything. Really bad service, we won't ever take any of our dogs here again. I missed up not looking at the reviews first! It's okay tho, NEVERRRRRR AGAIN will me or my family bring our dogs here ????????

This hospital/clinic should be shut down. Poor quality service the doctors does not know what the staff are doing or saying he says one thing the staff say something different. My cat was here for almost one month and they couldn't determine what was wrong with her. At the time of the autopsy they found she has a several nasal infection as many testing, untrasound, xrays, etc. to only alow my cat to die. I asked for her ashes and was told by the doctor that it was $200-$250 after calling for weeks to see if her ashes are ready for pickup i was told she never made it ad that it will cost me $500 two moths later. I'm sure I'll get some other cats ashes

This place never answers the phone, doesn’t give you any feedback on what’s going on with your pet. Horrible service all around.

The NURSE SHOWED ME A MIDDLE FINGER and coursed at me. After I HAD to take my emotional support puppy out, because they were keeping him at the office for 1,5 hours without any assistance. Even that the puppy had major life threatening symptoms, like constantly vomiting with blood, blood diarrhea, etc In the end the nurses were extremely mean and I had emotional breakdown. I never ever experienced such a miserable human communication. If you want your animal to be SAFE, NEVER COME HERE. Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere.

WHATEVER YOU DO, IF YOU YOU LOVE YOUR PETS AND WANT THE BEST CARE AND DOCTORS THAT HAVE COMPASSION AND WILLINGNESS TO TREAT AND PROVIDE FOR YOUR PETS, DOCTORS THAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPLETE AND ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS INSTEAD OF A DIAGNONSENSE… DO. NOT. BRING. YOUR. ANIMALS. HERE.!!!! I HAVE BEEN CONSOLING MY MOTHER IN LAW FOR THE PAST WEEK BECAUSE OF THIS NIGHTMARE OF A PLACE!! THEY ARE DISGUSTING AND SENSELESS. I WISH MY FAMILY READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING THERE

My dog swallowed a fishing hook, we went to three different places and they suggested a surgery for $8k and my dog doesn't have insurance so I came to St Francis and they try a different method and removed the hook without a surgery and we paid less than $100

IS THERE EVEN A DOCTOR IN HOSPITAL??? My pet has been here since last night, no ones would speak or give me an update on my dog health. The “doctor” doesn’t have the courtesy of speaking with me. PLEASE, PLEASE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. Be aware your pet will in a cage without water, food. She was dehydrated ???? Taking her to different hospital. You Don’t deserve to have the name “St. Francis”

I took my pitbull Bella for extraction and it was excellent work thank you to Dr Reich and other Drs who treated my girl. Thank you to all nurses and techs. I’m so happy I brought her to st Francis and I am very picky and indecisive so I’m happy I chose St Francis. The cost was very reasonable. Thank you again.

Nothinf but kind words and good vibes for the Dr and staff, took my baby beethoven in quick and helped us out and explained all the options, my baby ended up having to have eye removal surgery, quote was fair and after the explanation of post surgery recovery procedure we accepted, after 4 days beethoven was dis charged and its been 10 days and he nothing but a happy dog, ty st francis for responding to all my calls and questions, we should be back to get stitches removed but whatever the outcome is or how long our baby will be by our side we are deeply grateful ty

Do not Come here

If you care about your pet DO NOT COME HERE. TURN AROUND AND RUN! Very unprofessional staff and doctor. Not sympathetic AT ALL! They will perform different treatments to your animal without your knowledge. They do not provide any paperwork agreement regarding the patient. They do not care to update you on the status of your pet throughout their recovery process.Very untrusting! There are 3 other 24 hour animal hospitals in the broward county area that will provide better services.

0 (zero) stars This place is absolutely a walk in ultimatum for your pets life. Short and simple. Our dog was losing blood from his rectal area. We were referred to this location due to the fact our local ER had an extremely long wait time and severity of the situation we went here. Was told a blood test would be performed and then got hit with and estimated quote of $800 of tests that would be done to see the cause and meds. When we got there the assistant/nurse just felt my dogs stomach. When I informed said nurse that the cost was over my head if my dog didn’t make it would I be able to receive some percentage of the payment back I was told No. I asked if just blood work and X-ray be done to see the cause and straight forward got walked out on. This is a Hospital for animals so you mean to tell me you guys never seen any similar situation previously that I could not even get a possible reason as to what could be happening. Not once did a doctor come in to see my pet. I walked out of this placing crying as a result due to the fact no possible reason to what’s going on, no reassurance on my dog coming home, and absolute lack of compassion for animals owners facing such difficult decisions. Then the lady collecting a $90 payment for a stomach touch wants to say they can’t split certain test everything had to be paid for if we wanted him treated, yet no guarantee our pet would make it. Do not waste your time cominG to this location unless you want to pay for services with no guarantee your pet will come home but a definite guarantee of a costly bill. ER’s are for emergencies not to be taken advantage of in a life or death situation. Hopefully our dog makes it thru the night to see his regular doctor in the morning. Do not respond with you poor excuses like done for previous reviews DO BETTER . And if you don’t care to see animals live and wish to do the best for them rename your location to Take It Or Leave it because in the end that’s all the services you guys provide. I got more possible reasons for my dog symptoms on Google.

Our poor little Lucy died at St Francis this week. The nurse, Alli was so amazing. She was our best friend during this heart-breaking time. Alli was the one who got us to see Lucy, and we will always love her for that. Deon who is in the front office was just horrible. He blocked us from coming in, I insisted and threatened to discharge my dog unless I could see her. He let us in and then argued with me, all during this time of extreme stress. He had no compassion at all. Alli made Deon leave the room and she took over. Thank you Alli!!! We never got to see either Dr. LoDuca or Dr. Ridge. I think they could have done more to keep Lucy alive; then never gave her IV nutrition, only fluids. My wish is that Alli find a great place to work because she is extremely kind and competent.

I took my three year old cat Jalapeno to VCA clinic in Hollywood and they told me to either pay $4800 or put down my cat bc he was obstructed and would be dead in a few hours. I was obviously upset and distraught. Luckily, a vet tech there recommended that I run to St. Francis and so I did. Thank god. Dr. Ridge and his staff not only comforted me and explained what was happening, but they saved Jalapeno and for a fraction of the cost. They said that he absolutely did not have to be put down. And that they could absolutely help. And they did. Dr. Ridge was kind to me and thorough. And he was good to my cat. Other emergency vet clinics take advantage of people in their state of panic about their pets and try to gouge them. It's very predatory and mercenary. That was not the case at St. Francis. The staff was kind and Dr. Ridge is a good vet. If you have an emergency, you should come here. They serve the community and they serve people. They are not trying to rip you off. You will pay thousands less here and Dr. Ridge is a seasoned pro. Thank you for what you did for me today St Francis. Thank you for saving my boy. ????‍⬛♥️????

I ended up going to St. Francis hospital again, and I wasn’t looking forward to it because of my previous experience, but I had no choice in that moment. However they took care of the cat I found under the car with a very deep wound ! I just figured out how hard they are working , the whole office under pressure and short of staff. I finally understood why is all that waiting time , And just like to say thank you for Dr. Ridge & the whole staff Thank you again

Stay away from this place. Do yourself a favor and take your pet elsewhere. These people have no customer service and are rude. Took my cat in because he wasn’t urinating, 30 hours later, I have no idea what’s going on. No one has called me for an update, so I’m the one who has called. And for 30 hours, I have heard nothing but “the doctor is in surgery.” I have no idea if my cat has eaten, if he’s scared, or what they’ve done to him. This place is unbelievable.

My dog, after a week on medication, had what appeared to be a seizure around 2 AM. I heard the weird sounds from the living room and found her on the floor. I freaked out a bit, drove her to this location. By then she looked a bit more lively. Now, there is a sign at the door asking to call due to covid protocol. I called and they answered right away, took down the pet's info. Minutes later a polite lady came to the door to admit my pooch. I had to wait outside, which I found reasonable given the time. I could see inside that someone who looked like a doctor was checking out my dog. After some time they provided some paperwork and I provided some additional info. I waited a while longer and I was provided a positive resolution and I was only charged the emergency fee. I am extremely grateful to them for taking care of my pooch right away, even though I showed up at their door in the middle of the night. I am fortunate enough that they were able to attend me immediately, as they did tell me there can often be a long waiting time.

7 hours waiting with the feral cat, they kept him in a cold room didn't even cover the trap he was a wild cat in extreme stress and bad condition. Broken torned leg, wounds alll over the everything and needed immediate attention . We went the around 11pm they didn't even look at the cat until 6am in the morning. It was two other patients before him but 7 hours waiting really?? they are extremely rude keep you waiting outside don't talk to you even if you standing front of the window for hours trying to talk to them.. They don't come out if you have a question or anything.. They only come out hours later to slap you with the bill the cat had to be euthanized in the end, after keeping him in a cold room all night and didn't even check him they did a feline leukemia snap test after 7 hours of waiting which came back positive and told me to put him to sleep is the best option.. Really had to torture a cat for 7 hours in pain and cold just to tell me to put him to sleep? How long a snap test takes, 5 mins? The nurse could have done that while the doctor was with the other patient.. This is unacceptable.. I called them the next day to talk to the doctor cause he didn't even bother come out to tell me about the cat condition, he sent the nurse out.. Forget reaching him on the phone I tried 3 times and they keep telling me he don't have time to talk with patients.. I Rude stuff and extremly long waiting time so if your pet need immediate care take him somewhere else
