Banfield Pet Hospital Hollywood, Florida

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with your Banfield location on Sheridan Street in Hollywood, Florida. My Prince Charming has been a client for several years and is on the Wellness Plan. I recently called to bring him in for his shots as well as he's been scooting terribly….and made an appointment for Jan 22. Prior to the appointment, the scooting was getting worse and you could see how miserable he was. I called back on Sat, Jan 8 in the afternoon to try and get him in sooner for the scooting issue and was told by the gal who I spoke with (didn't get her name) to walk him in on Mon, Jan 10th. Monday rolls around and I bring him in the morning and explain what the lady told me on Saturday and the lady at the reception desk (again didn't get her name) tells me he has an appointment for Jan 22nd... which I'm totally aware of and I was bringing him in for the scooting issue. She said that they don't take walk-ins and doesn't understand why anyone would tell me this. I explained that this is what I was told to do and I was not making this up. Her demeanor implied that I was trying to pull a fast one and just walk in and expect to be taken care. I would never do something like this... let alone be late for work and have to return the dog back home which only made me get to work much later than if I would have by dropping him off. Needless to say I was very upset as this totally disrupted my morning and Prince Charming was not getting taken care of. I ended up having to take him to another vet and was charged $102.00 out of pocket. In addition, I noticed on my bank account that the Wellness Plan has increased since back in August 2021 and I was never notified. How can you place an increase on someone's bank account without advising them if they want to continue with the plan and increase? Banfield has gotten too large and is now treating their clientele just as number with no regard to the pets’ wellbeing or the pet owners. Such a shame as we were very happy with the service provided in the beginning. I will bring him in for his last follow-up this Sat, Jan 22 and cancel all services from there on. I had a great experience taking my dog Bella to Banfield Hollywood on the occasions I had to bring her there. The staff were always friendly and helpful especially during these trying covd times. Bella was unsure of being taken at the front door but they were patient and understanding with her. I have since moved to Peachtree City GA and plan on using the Banfield location that is here.

Zero stars. I woke up thinking about my mini pin Ringo who passed away many years ago and realized I can't let this slide. I am posting this review and have all the billing etc to prove it. On that day my wife called me crying that Ringo was quite ill and he's not waking up completely. He possibly had eaten something outside which put him into a constant sleep even though he was always full of energy. After calling me she had run with him to Banfield off of Sheridan and they started to do CPR...tubes into his mouth etc... For about an hour or two then told my wife sorry they can't help her that they are closing. They threw the dog into her arms and asked for a credit card and locked her out of the place because sorry they are closing. I do not know how else to put it. She took him to a 24 hour Vet on Hollywood Blvd and I95 where they treated him well and he ended up dying at around 3am because there was nothing they can do. I can't forget the last time he looked at me with teared up eyes. I also can not stop wondering if he would have been better never to be taken to the Banfield in the first place. It won't let me put 0 stars.

I love the vets and staff at the Hollywood Banfield! They take the best care of all my dogs and my dogs love going there!

All the doctors and staff and nurses are wonderful and amazing except for the manager Molina, she was rude and kept ignoring my questions, seemed more interested in billing me than dealing with me and my concern about my little Frenchie otis.

Brought in a sick dog and the doctor refused to see him between patients. Been enrolled in their health plan for 10 years. Will never recommend this heartless place.

Jack really helped me out. My cat food has been in short supply and he found 2 large bags of it and brought it out to me. Not all heroes wear capes. ❤

This week was actually my second visit to Banfield my first was taking my beloved cat there was nothing they could do for her still sad This time I took in a different cat and like all my cats they're fine I never bought a cat in my life but he has some kind of really bad limp and I don't know why because I wasn't home at the time I don't know what happened to him but they were courteous and professional I told him I couldn't afford a big vet bill so they left his foot basically alone and gave him some antibiotics and inflammatories to prevent any swelling or infection and that was like a week ago he seems to be getting around a lot better now

The staff is very friendly, very helpful. They called to update me on my baby's surgery. I also called them beforehand and they provided me with answers immediately. They are taking really good care of him. I feel confident that they actually care and that my cat will heal. Thank you for treating my Oliver. Prices are not that bad, either. They do everything they can under a reasonable price and quote beforehand. They do not try to oversell you on services you do not necessarily require. I highly recommend this vet office. Best vet experience I've ever had. Thank you!

Always a great experience as we travel for my husband's work... so thankful Banfields are located everywhere! Staffs in different locations have been A+ in so many ways and that's been so reassuring during a time when we need to do curbside... definitely no worries ???? ???????? This location was awesome and took wonderful care of my pup!???? *the wellness plans are great and ease your mind as you can care for your pet and stay on track!

We take our bbs sharpei for vaccination and the place its very good.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN EMERGENCY I called Monday around 6pm and asked if I could take my dog for a nail trim but lady said No because it was too late and they were finishing the day but that I could bring my dog any day from 9am-6pm. I left work a little earlier to be there at 1:20pm before going on a work trip. I had little time to make everything happen because I needed to drop him somewhere before going to the airport. I arrived and the lady said everyone was at lunch so they weren’t able to do it. I understand everyone has to have lunch but leaving a place like this without staff is unreasonable.... what if I had an emergency ? Then another lady that’s works there came and I asked her if she can do it but she said no Because she had 20 mins left to have lunch... They should tell you all the staff take lunch at the same time and not waste people’s time.

My mom takes her Dog there. The staff is so nice and delila really likes them . We're happy with the service and care that they show.

Maya at the front desk was very informative and reassuring! She was able to make accommodations to fit my new kitten into their busy schedule regardless!

I have only gotten the best experience at this facility. By far the best of all the Banfield Hospitals I have taken my kittens to. Front desk, nurses, vets, everybody is so attentive, knowledgeable, and nice. The facility is impeccable. They even have free, delicious coffee while you wait for your pet to be tended to. Lots of parking... what can I say... wonderful experience every time!! Highly recommend it!

Good location, staff is very friendly and helpful. Got my dog neutered there and treated for minor issues like upset stomach and regular checkups.

Taking great precautions for COVID. Good communication before and after the appointment. Very kind people!
