Dr Caballero has been our family vet for over 20 years and I trust him fully to care for my pets as if they were his own. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful!

Doctor discussed the problem with my cat By end of day I saw a great improvement in my cat.

I took my puppy for her last shot and she has the “puppy Plan “ with them which after last week I noticed it’s a scam. After this being her last shot they came in and said sign here it’s $150.00 I called my husband to confirm and he said no the puppy had everything needed. The RUDE DR Vet. Once I we declined the $150.00 fee he tells his assistant whatever gives the puppy the shot and tells her send her out she’s done. Not only did he not allow me to ask any questions but disrespected me in front of my 10 year old son! We use to take our 3 puppy’s to this place his lost. Shame on this Man & if that was to a customer I can imagine how he treats his staff.

Dr.Caballero is the best!! I don't trust any other doctor, he is honest and to the point.

This is the first time I’ve been here. I had an appointment for my puppy today and they were extremely rude to us. They talked down on us and they had no costumer service skills. After waiting for 3 hours, they scheduled her without even asking if the date was ok. They tried to say something was wrong with her when she’s in perfectly good heath. We overheard them also being rude to other costumers for no reason. I understand that we can’t go in because of corona but their communication skilled lacked. They were very rude. How are you going to work with pets when your emotionless and degrading. The price is not the reason I wrote this review. If someone talks down on me, I’m not going to sit around and do nothing about it. They talked to me like I was stupid. Expensive or not the employees are rude.

This Vet has no regards for their clients time. I have brought my puppy to this office on three separate occasions and on all three, I have had to wait over an hour with an appointment. Today was just plain right nasty what they did, let me explain. I decided to take my puppy in because I think she might have puppy mange. I arrived at 9:15am the tech met me outside because they are not letting clients wait inside because of Covid-19. When the tech asked if I had an appointment I said no and explained why I was bringing my puppy in. She said it would take a few minutes. After waiting in the hot sun for an hour my husband knocked on the door to ask how much longer it would take to see the vet, the tech said very sarcastically “keep in mind you did not have an appointment” It can take another 20min. Seriously... she should have said from the beginning since you don’t have an appointment you will have to wait out here over an hour and 20min. not it will take a few minutes. After waiting so long in the Sun I told her we would wait in the car, and asked her to call us when the vet was ready, 5min later at 10:25 am someone else called us to explain that we did not have an appointment and with the Covid 19 situation they were taking longer than usual. I told her the wait time has nothing to do with the Covid situation, I have taken my puppy several times with an appointment before Covid 19 and have always waited over an hour. I asked why their tech would tell me it’s going to take a few minutes and leave us outside in the hot sun for an hour, that was OUR Fault though for having too much patience! We should have knocked on the door 15min after. The girl proceeded to tell me they had another appointment coming in at 10:30 if they made it on time we will continue to wait or we could come in at 12:00pm I was so upset, I told her we would go to another vet. I understand emergencies come up but every time I have come to this office the wait is well over an hour even with an appointment. The fact that their tech was so nasty to say it was going to take a few minutes and leave us waiting in the hot sun and then had the audacity to say we did not have an appointment after waiting an hour goes to show they have no respect for their clients.

Thankful is an understatement! I would give them 1000 stars if I could. Dr. Caballero literally saved my dogs life! Words can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am for him and his amazing staff. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust my dogs with any other vet. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive! Specially Dr. Caballero, he was beyond attentive and went above and beyond for my baby. His passion is admirable and you can see how he genuinely loves what he does! Again, thank you for everything you do!!!!

We Absolutely love our vet! He is thorough, caring and has been great with our puppy, Cooper. We are first time dog owners and the doctor and staff have been so supportive in answering any questions we have and helping us through the puppy stages. The staff is friendly with Cooper and he loves to visit them.

I love the clinic staff, they really seem to like the animals. Dr Silva is lovely, very professional!!! Highly recommend this Animal Clinic!!!

Dr.Caballero and his staff are comebsexond to none when it comes to Customer Service, the treatment of their animal patients. I live in Hammocks and drive all the way to Miami Gardens just to have my dog be seeing by Dr. Caballero.

My 16th year old baby has been under Dr. Caballero's care for most of his life, and I have nothing but praises. Thank you Dr. for helping me keep my baby healthy ????

This is the BEST Hospital we have ever taken our yorkie ("BABY") to. Dr. Caballero has saved our baby's life so many times. We relocated and drove 3 hours yesterday. They made the time for our baby with no appointment. There is nothing negative to say about this hospital. He is very understanding along with his staff. Words cannot even begin to explain how thankful we are for him and his amazing staff. As we just relocated and we can say honestly, we wouldn’t trust our baby with any other vet. They are very knowledgeable! Especially Dr. Caballero, goes above and beyond for our baby. Dr. Caballero and staff thank you for everything you do for our baby. When it comes to saving our baby's life I rely on Dr. Caballero no matter what it costs!!!

BE AWARE!!! Worst veterinarian experience ever. I’m giving 1 star because there’s no 0. If you’re looking for a rip-off this is the place. 2 years ago I took my Rottweiler to this clinic due to an access in the ear. The doctor told me it required a surgery and some exams prior and after the procedure. I went to another doctor and he told me that it was the result of an insect bite and did not require surgery just antibiotics. Indeed after the treatment my dog got fully recovered and access was gone. The price that this clinic asked me for because of the surgery and overall procedure was $1200. The treatment by the doctor that recommended the antibiotics was just $230. But it seems that we never learn the lesson. Since they are really close by my house I took my new puppy 3 times because of giardiasis according to both of the “Doctors” after several treatments of metronidazole and panacur following instructions by the book and paying over $1000 in prescriptions and exams my puppy continues the same if not worse. People like this shouldn’t hold a veterinarian license and much less should be allowed to consult our pets.

I've visited Sunset Pet Hospital 10 years ago when they treated my GSD. I just brought in a stray cat for a check-up. They're courteous, thorough in there work. Definitely recommend.

My dog has epilepsy and I was going to another vet and he didn't seem concerned about my dog switch to this vet who cares & the multiple attacks he was having with old vet has gone to only a few in months..

Very deceiving business practices- zero stars if it was possible. Their website states a 10% discount for new clients. You fill out an on line form to make an appointment and no one ever calls you back. They then claim you never registered on line - they conveniently delete your registration. You then need to call them and make an appointment over the phone since your pet is ill and you can’t wait too long. Once you do that you “forfeit” the 10% discount - what difference does it make? Whether you register on line or in person - A new client is a new client! My cat came out the same way he went in (no improvement) except I’m $ 275 poorer - then, they have the audacity to email you their website with that exact same 10% offer for a review! And then offered me a 10% discount on my “next” visit. Seriously? Are you joking? All they would do is jack up the fees by 10%and still screw you over. Fat chance! I was suckered into coming here. Do yourself a favor and try someplace else - you won’t regret it. There are more honest and ethical animal comics in town. Banfield in Pembroke Pines was much better.

First time visiting Sunset Pet Hospital and I was so happy I did. Dr. Caballero is very caring and compassionate. He truly cares about my pets health. During my visit the clinic was very clean and the staff was very courteous, prices were also very reasonable. I am so glad I picked Dr. Caballero as my pets new Dr. Thank you to Sunset Pet Hospital for getting my baby healthy again!!

Dr. Caballero it's the most caring doctor any pet could have. His knowledge and love for the animals it's amazing. Many years ago I had two malteses and they loved him, they both had long lives thanks to his care. Now I own 3 malteses, 16 yrs old, 9 yrs and 8 yrs of ago. He's always been by their side. They go there often and love the place. The older one (16 years old) have broken vertebraes and thanks to his Laser treatments she's able to walk. All the personnel are very helpful. I would recommend this Hospital to everyone. Must mention that I drive 20 miles to get to their Hospital and don't regret it, it's worth the drive
