I cannot give enough praise to the dedicated team of vets and technicians at Hunters Crossing! I've only ever had great experiences bringing my two cats in to see Dr. Ligman. She's very thorough and friendly, and always takes the time to discuss my cats health in detail and answer any and every question I have regarding their care. When my cat needed 6 teeth extracted seemingly out of nowhere, Dr. Ligman was very attentive and explained everything I'd need to know regarding why the teeth needed to come out, and how that would impact my cat. She even went so far as to email me my cats x-rays while on the phone, so I could see exactly what she explained regarding my cats health. I could not have been more pleased with the level of care they gave my sweet girl. I received multiple follow up calls checking on on her health the week following, and was given the option to bring her back into the office at no charge to make sure she was healing properly before a long holiday weekend. Every interaction I have with this team is friendly and thorough, and I never feel like I'm a bother when I call asking extra questions. I am so thankful to have found a vet who truly cares about my cats wellbeing and takes the time to make sure I'm fully educated as a cat mom. Thank you, Dr. Ligman, and to your entire team! <3

Dr. Ligman, and her caring staff have been such an amazing part of our ‘animal’ family. Our bully was so afraid of anyone - but her staff were so accommodating to Gunner, that he fell in love with her. When we adopted our ferret - he would bite everyone! Except, Dr. Ligman! Chippy didn’t want to leave the clinic to come home. I cannot recommend this clinic, and Dr. Ligman enough! They love our babies, as much as we do!

I needed an international health certificate and called previously to ensure that there were no extra costs associated. I even sent in all my paperwork beforehand to ensure that all the documents were in place, including my rabies certificate. When I arrived they insisted and pressured that I needed to get a new rabies certificate because they didn’t issue the one that I already had, which was perfectly valid. Basically my dog had to get TWO rabies vaccinations which I don’t even know if that’s safe. So I ended up paying not only the international health certificate but also a rabies vaccination that my pet didn’t even need. Just because the doctor insisted on it. It is extremely disrespectful to a client that multiple times called to ensure everything was fine, and once you arrive they start pulling out charges out of nowhere. NOT a reliable vet clinic

Recently found this hidden gem located in North West Gainesville. Everyone at this clinic from the receptionist to the technicians to the doctors are all excellent from start to finish. Every question I have ever had has been answered to the fullest. I have not come across anyone at this clinic who seems to have a bad day, and if they do they still continue to put the customer first and provide amazing customer service. You feel welcome and can tell they truly care about your pets. I cannot say enough positive things.

We were encouraged to wait until February to have our elderly dogs teeth worked on for a “special.” When the time came for his appointment we were told he needed new blood panel because he was old and that the blood work we had just done was not current. So, we didn’t know we were going to have to pay 200 extra dollars to get new blood work for the teeth cleaning but we went for it anyway only to learn that the blood panel wasn’t what he needed and he actually needed an echocardiogram that we cannot get done until June. The vet Tech kaitlyn that we spoke to blamed the terrible miscommunication waste of a Saturday and putting an elderly dog through unnecessary bloodwork on her receptionist that has since been fired rather than taking full responsibility. I was unable to talk to an owner or a vet but I would highly recommend that you stay away from this place. You will end up having people call and reschedule several times, unclear communication about treatment, and essentially a huge waste of time. We will now need to find a new vet and probably it will be months before our poor dog will have his teeth looked at when we could’ve had it done by now if we would’ve First found a more professional vet.

Couldn't be happier with my experience with this vet center! The staff is nothing shy of kind, courteous and timely! Dr. Ligman is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to care for her patients. My two puppies love her and her staff, we definitely recommend this vet center to anyone looking for the perfect place to care for their pet!

I'm so happy we found this vet for our dog. In the past it was hard finding a vet we trusted with the care our dog, but we're so glad Dr. Rogers and Dr. Ligman are just down the road and are so passionate about their profession. Taking our dog to our old vet used to be stressful but now she's comfortable and loves the docs and staff here, especially Dr. Rogers. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Ligman and Dr. Rogers are the absolute best around! This team goes above and beyond for both of my senior dogs, we love them so much that we drive over an hour to get there! Thank you TVC for all your love and dedication!

My fiancé and I swear by this vet center! Everybody we have had the pleasure of meeting has been accommodating and professional. They have always treated our dogs with the utmost care. If you're looking for a vet center that will truly care for your pets, then we highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it!

I love that once the team at The Veterinary Center At Hunters Crossing hears my pup’s name they know us and are excited she’s there! This is top notch care – Dr. Ligman and Dr. Rogers are simply the best. It’s because you can hear how much they love being vets! They have enthusiasm to tell you everything and answer anything you ask. I know my pup is in knowledgeable and loving hands. They have a great office team, always checking in after a visit to confirm all is well. We are very please to have found them.

Brought my new puppy here and Dr. Ligman personally went over everything a new puppy owner should know with me. Very thorough and helpful.

They have healed our pets' recurring health problems that we have suffered with for years while seeking alternate healthcare elsewhere. Make the switch, this is the place to go! They work smart and efficient and will solve whatever problem you can bring thier way.

Dr Ligman, her staff and everyone associated with her are the best around. They took care of my 2 dogs and 4 cats with perfection...they love and cared for my fur babies more than I could even dream. I even boarded my dogs there many times. I love them so much that when I moved I cried over leaving them. No offense to my new vet, but NO ONE will ever come close to comparing with Dr Ligman and Hunters Crossing Veterinary. NCFL is lucky to have them!!! 100 stars!!!

Professional, caring, friendly, efficient, compassionate, trustworthy, reliable... I cannot say enough good things about the Veterinary Center at Hunter’s Crossing! I am very glad to have found them; we have 5 cats, and even our aggressive, “hate-all-vets” cat has started to warm up to them. If your pets are your family, you would love them! ❤️

Amazing experience! Staff and Docs are very compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and professional. You can see it in the way they greet and treat their 2-legged and 4-legged clients! They took the time with explanations and offered several options for treating and caring for my geriatric kitty. I will continue utilizing their services and feel good about utilizing their services for all four of my cats. The Veterinary Center at Hunters Crossing will now be our permanent "go to" vet clinic. A HUGE shout out to Dr. Ligman and her staff for taking such great care of my recently adopted foster fail 11 year old hound dog Gracie. Having a difficult life prior to her adoption - Gracie is a very anxious and submissive dog, scared of her own shadow. Gracie had the absolute best care and came out of surgery today with a new lease on life. She had 12 teeth & a mass removed from her abdomen. Thanks to Dr. Ligman she will be a part of my family for awhile yet to come. My eternal gratitude.

Dr. Ligman is one of the best vets I have ever met. Caring and thoughtful. She Solved my dogs problem with limping within an hour of walking into her hospital.

This is by far one of the best vet offices I have ever been to. They take SUCH GOOD CARE of both of my dogs. My dogs both deal with anxiety and reactivity and they give them so much respect and love. Their response time for prescription requests and quick. They always remember who I am. They are very thorough with their exams and do a great job explaining everything to me. I can't say enough nice things about them. They are wonderful.

Very efficient and professional staff, and the providers are extremely thorough. Everyone was also friendly and easy to work with. Also used their boarding services, easy to coordinate and worked out great for us.

I want everyone to know how wonderful the Doctors and Staff are at The Veterinary Center At Hunters Crossing, they work together like a family. Very professional, caring and going that extra step. The vets are excellent and very good with my pets. My problem is they can’t see them on a day when they are sick or in pain. I thought that’s what vets do. When one of my dogs couldn’t open his right eye and I was worried, I was told the next available appointment was in 2 days. When my other little dog was in pain after receiving shots, I was told no one was available on a Saturday and “feel free to take him to an ER or UF.” I have spent hundreds of dollars here and I would like a bit more respect for my pets.

This is hands down the best veterinary center I have ever taken my pets to and I refuse to go anywhere else for my pets needs. They are compassionate, understanding and have always gotten my fur babies a last minute, day of appointment! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to anybody searching for a great veterinary clinic in town!

We are so grateful for Dr. Ligman and her team. Extremely kind and exceptional professionals for their field. I would recommend this practice to anyone. They treat their animal-patients with love and dignity, as if they were their own. Sadly, I can not say the same about a handful well-known practices in town. Your furry family members will be in great hands here.

The people here always treat my two dogs like royalty, despite one being crazy, and a pain, to work with. The Vets always provide options depending on cost for procedures and are not looking to rob you, they provide fair and honest work. I have NEVER been disappointed or wanted more from them, they exceed my expectations regularly.
