Nice and cheap vet in town

I really took this place for granted when I lived in Gainesville. I recently moved to another city and I can’t find another vet that treats my cat Mochi with the amount of care and patience they did at Newberry. I really really recommend them to anyone. Mochi is a little bit aggressive at the vet and they never had any issues dealing with him when other vets always recommend sedating him for visits. They were always very kind during visits and made sure to check up on Mochi multiple times after visits, which I really appreciated.

I took my dog Charlotte to see Dr. White. The staff was nice and helpful. Dr White was accommodating to our needs and knowledgeable about our issues. The vet tech Ryan was the greatest, I had 2 dogs with me and she actually helped hold the dogs while checking out and made sure if I needed help to my car. The location is not the greatest, but the staff made it worth it.

Friendly and supportive staff. Understanding and knowledgeable veterinarians. If you need pet care, this is the place for service in the Alachua County region! My kitties are never wrong!

If I was rich, I'd buy Dr. Stanley and all the vet techs & reception staff cars. Such kindness, care, and consideration from all of them. Dr. Stanley was the first to take my cat's issues with great urgency and trust my word with past treatment failures. My cat is healthy, happy, itch-free, and perfect bloodwork as a geriatric feline because of all their hard work.

After my mother passed away I took her Chihuahua in for a check up and a vaccine. After three days, he had kennel cough. I had to take him to another vet to be treated with antibiotics, steroids, and cough syrup. He’s 17 years old and I hope he can make it through this since he’s an elderly dog.

They are good. They take care of my Grand dog. They also, like many places in Gainesville, overcharge for medication. It's ok tho. Apparently, you can buy certain things online now!

I am so impressed with the staff and doctors at Newberry Main St. I have an exceedingly difficult cat to treat, as she is completely terrified of vets and becomes very aggressive even though she's a sweetheart at home. The staff and doctors at Newberry worked with me very flexibly on a solution to get treatment for my cat, and were so sweet to my kitty even though she was very difficult. I am so grateful for their compassion with me and my anxious kitty. Highly recommend this place, and a special thanks to Dr. White, Dawn, and Hailey, aggro cat whisperers extraordinaire.

The staff is very kind and gentle. It was a great first visit.

They literally saved my dog's life. I was so thankful that they didn't overcharge me or take advantage like most vets do when an emergency happens. My dog had to come everyday for several weeks and they ALWAYS treated her so well and were beyond kind. I honestly wish there were more stars to give. My heart is so full!!!! I have a healthy girl all because of their efforts and knowledge on what needed to be done to get her back to normal. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart ya'll!!!

Ok. They were good but not as thorough as another place. I will always love this place for taking care of my Mya! She lived through a horrible situation because of them!

Warning: DO NOT see Dr. Erin Hughes at this location. I would personally give her 0 stars if possible. This has been a vet clinic that we love taking our animals to and have never had a bad experience until today. I brought two newborn kittens to them for assistance and to make sure they were doing okay. The tech was great, but the doctor instead started the visit by being rude and judgemental, couldn't even bother to begin the conversation with hello. She said " not everyone should be taking care of kittens" and "they are too young to even be here". I didn't know there was an age limit for veterinary care? Also, if that was the case someone should have told me that when I made the appointment. She then proceeded to say that she's had a long day, but not like an apology for how she was speaking but more like it was an exscuse to be rude. I told her the way she was talking to me was unprofessional and she literally walked away from me. I was basically charged $54 for them to tell me they were cute. They also made a point of getting my phone number multiple times but then called my husbands number when they were done. I believe the doctor did this intentionally because she didn't want to speak to me again. Very mature. We will continue to bring our other animals to the clinic as everything else has always been great, but we will never see this doctor again.

When I arrived for my cat's appointment on Wednesday March 24, 2021, I was astonished to see that the entire staff had changed, prices for services had sky-rocketed and the person who attended to my cat was unknowledgeable and very rude with no bedside manner. In addition, I waited in my car for 2 and 1/2 hours (4:33-7:06 pm) while my cat appeared to be their last patient. I was extremely dissatisfied with the services rendered from my visit!

They were great got sisi toes done.

We LOVE Newberry Animal Hospital Main St location! The vets and staff are always so friendly. We have boarded our dog here many times on weekend getaways, and always come back to a happy pup. We know that he is loved and well taken care of! Can't recommend highly enough!

Newberry Animal Hospital is very good with reminders of upcoming vaccinations or other visits that need to be scheduled. It’s easy for me to forget or lose track of time but with their help that doesn’t happen and my little fur balls stay up to date!

NAH is great. They usually get you in quick in an emergency, are nice and they are affordable.

The staff at Newberry Animal hospital is second to none. They give first class care and service in all aspects of animal medicine. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.
