For the first time ever, I feel like my cats have gotten the vet attention they deserve. Dr. Courtney Adams and technician Paul were both very thorough and they listened to our concerns. My experience here were much better than Banfield pet hospital. (My cats received annual exam + blood test + X-ray)

I have adopted two dogs from Haile's Angels and the clinic has been amazing with all the animals in our family. One key thing I love is that they are open 7 days a week. That is the one issue I had with my other vet, was scheduling and timing. I would recommend anyone with a pet to bring their animal to Haile. I love the friendliest of the staff and the way they work with the pets to not feel nervous at the clinic

We had to make the gut wrenching decision to help send my grandma’s dog, Skye, over the rainbow bridge today. Dr. McCollough and her team don’t normally do house calls on Thursday’s, but she offered to come anyway so Skye could pass at home in my grandma’s arms and surrounded by family. While you never want to see the day of losing a pet, Haile Plantation Animal Clinic made the process as painless as possible. We cannot thank them enough for their compassion during this difficult time for our family. Dr. McCollough knows our dogs well and it is great to have a vet that treats her patients like family.

This was my first visit to Haile Animal Clinic. I am very loyal to my vet, but I had a feline emergency and I was recommended to Haile. The front desk staff was very warm and helpful setting up an appointment. The vet and vet tech were amazing with my cat. They were compassionate, thorough, and ran several diagnostic tests. They were upfront about all the costs. I was grateful for such good care in a stressful moment.

Dr. Rivera was so kind and comforting when euthanizing our senior dog with severe kidney disease. She was also very helpful when neutering my kitten. I’m so grateful to have found this vet clinic.

This was our first visit to Haile Vet clinic. They treated my middle aged cat Chickie gently and with respect for her “boundaries”.

Unfortunately our 17 year old dog Paco was at the end of his life and we luckily found Dr. Rivera. She showed true compassion and professionalism while performing the worst part of a Vet's job. She is a great doctor and person. Thank you so much !

We love the haile plantation animal clinic. We have a special needs dog named teddy and they have taken care of him like he’s their own. They have excellent customer service and truly care for the animals they treat. All the vets there are outstanding and their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them for your furry family member!

I’ve taken my pet there for 2 years (1.5 years was through Covid and only got met in the parking lot - never witnessed care). I called on a Monday morning saying I had concern about a cough and thought she had something stuck in her throat. They advised me to go to the UF animal Hospital. I called another vet who made an appointment within the hour and saw my dog immediately. She was diagnosed with kennel cough (no medication needed). I’ve attempted to speak to someone at Haile Animal Clinic and sent an email on 7/12 and then asked on Facebook if they monitor emails. As of 7/21, still no response. I’ve been paying $49.95 a month for the Petly plan for two years. The office visits were to be discounted. Instead I had to pay full price at another vet. So, are they avoiding the “discounted” visits? And the comment below makes me wonder how much I have to pay to get out of the Petly plan. I'm reluctantly writing that I'm extremely disappointed. But I've tried to resolve this before running to review.

This was such a wonderful place for our fur babies. The ladies at the facility were so loving and caring....thanks to everyone, for doing what it takes to take care of Gods creatures, that he has given us.

They do a great job taking care of your pets, but do not go here if you have other places to be and don’t want to spend a ton of money. Waited over an hour for a scheduled appointment for my dog as they took later dog appointments in. Very frustrating to be the only car in the parking lot during a 15 minute time period during that hour and be told that they are busy then have other cars pull up and have their pets seen immediately. I had called 3 times to make sure they had seen my car in the number spot. First call they said they were coming, second call they picked up the phone and hung up, third after a complaint, they sent someone out and handled the phone call unprofessionally with an attitude. It is cruel to have dogs wait over an hour to be seen for a scheduled appoint as the office recommends you stay in your car so they can see and get to you as soon as possible… Secondly the “Petly” plan is a waste of money. You pay $30 a month (for silver plan) plus whatever it does not cover when you go in for your visit. If you wish to cancel that plan at any time you will have to pay all the money in which you “saved”. The $30 a month should have covered all the money you saved but really it just makes them more money since you either continue to pay $30 for the rest of your dogs life or you pay all the “save money” up front when canceling. For example I’ve payed $150 in months pay and paid $143 extra for what it does not cover “saved” $397 and to cancel I would have to pay an additional $253 upfront to cancel totaling out to be $546 when I could have just payed $396 without the plan. Would not recommend this vets office to a friend since they seem more concerned with money than your pet.

I’ve had great experiences with Haile Plantation Animal Clinic over the years. They’ve taken great care of Sebastian, my geriatric golden. The vets and techs have been really responsive and provided him very attentive care and kindness. I’ve had the pleasure of working with all 3 vets (Drs. McCollough, Moser & Rivera) and several techs. All have been very compassionate and professional. They love on my boy. They have navigated the Covid era really well with a well-organized/distanced check-in procedure. Surprisingly, they are open 7 days/week! I’ve almost always been able to get an appointment on relatively short notice. One thing I’d appreciate in the future is to get a detailed, written “discharge summary” upon pickup (including, e.g., bloodwork/imaging, exam findings). I can’t recommend Haile Animal Clinic more highly. Thank you for taking such good care of my “old man.”

This veterinary hospital is unique in a number of ways. Although it is seeking financial success as is any other, Haile Plantation Veterinary Clinic exudes friendliness and empathy for all animals entering its portals, human and otherwise. Thanks to Dr. McCullough's example over the years, all the personnel care, and while offering the usual veterinary services, they do so at a reasonable cost. The clinical services are performed extraordinarily well; however, the clinic even extends itself to abandoned and stray animals seeking a second chance to live and love humans. Haile Plantation Animal Clinic "puts its money where its mouth is."

Wonderful, experienced staff. Everyone is on the same page with the care and quality of each animal. Even though they are all important, there attention to detail will make you feel like your pet/s as my two girls.. Bonnie and Mae! (Cats) Seemed like the most important ones there!

I have been fostering through the rescue and taking my foster animals to this vet for a year now. Despite fostering nearly 50 animals, I have had maybe a few positive experiences with this vet. Often rescue animals are sick, and with kittens, it is usually an upper respiratory infection. Almost every time I would take an animal here worried about their breathing and congestion, they write it off as herpes, and tell me to keep the kitten in the bathroom while I shower for “steam therapy.” Obviously, the kittens do not improve from these brief moments, and are left to suffer from their sickness because the vet is extremely stingy about giving rescue animals antibiotics. I have taken animals here for tapeworms, and have been told that they don’t have fleas, and then finding fleas moments later. I have waited nearly 30 minutes in their parking lot before I am assisted, despite making an appointment. Yesterday they failed in the highest regard. For rescues, they do a mass spay/ neuter day. I was asked to bring all of my kittens in, despite one of them having an URI weeks before that he had not fully recovered from. Although he had been on antibiotics (that’s how you know it’s serious if they’re willing to do that), you could hear the mucus in his lungs with each breath he would take. I assumed that the vet would take one look at him and deem him not healthy enough to go under for his neuter. But no. The negligence and poor training prompted the vet to still put a tube down his throat to perform his surgery, after which he had breathing complications, and passed away. After a year of going to this vet, I can say that they have very little regard for the lives of rescue animals. My kitten had lost a lot of weight from his URI, and was also very likely under 2 pounds- how much he should have weighed to be neutered. One of my recent fosters came to me after escaping her old foster home, and I realized that she was pregnant. After informing the rescue, they told me that the vet (Dr. Rivera) wanted to spay her the next day- which would abort her babies. It is unfathomable to me that any ethical human would take this kill-shelter mentality with their rescue animals. It is one thing to take preventative measures and spay and neuter animals when they are first brought into the rescue, but another thing entirely when they have been in the rescue for a month and a half, gotten pregnant, and are now having to undergo forced sterilization. A veterinarian’s main goal should be to save the lives of all animals. This is very clearly not the case at Haile Plantation Animal Clinic.
