VCA Tri-County Animal Hospital Fort Pierce, Florida

I recently switched over to VCA Tri-County for my dog and I couldn’t be happier with the decision! Dr. Nelson and Jennifer, the vet tech were absolutely wonderful! They didn’t make me feel rushed when we were discussing everything going on with my guy and they were extremely thorough in explaining everything to me. Highly recommend VCA Tri-County. ????

What a relief to know there are still people out there that truly care. A pet's unconditional love deserves to be returned. I am extremely satisfied and thankful with them. Highly recommend

Not satisfied at all with my cats treatment. I indicated my cat had an ear issue and was sneezing ALOT. At no time was there a temperature taken or a look in his ear with an otoscope or in his nasal passage. My cat was given a shot and I was sent home with oral meds and some drops for his ear. He's still sneezing incessantly. I felt like they were in a hurry and didn't take the time to do a proper exam. I know my cat and he has a fever although he is eating and drinking as well as using his litter box. I wasn't impressed at all!!! But, they did take there sweet time to run my credit card for $160. I guess I'll have to take him to a qualified vet next time.

The staff at VCA is the absolute best! They are so friendly and professional. They have shown such care for our dogs, Romeo, Prince and Benji. They take the time to address every issue and concern you have. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Jay is a professional as is all their staff they were attentive and the office visit was reasonable at $49 for first-time visit, today is the 18th of August and I had to bring my dog in for an appointment the check that was helping me name is Jennifer and I am so very grateful to her for her expedients today because I'm having a time constraint issue and I'm a disabled veteran and they were very kind and helpful so I'm very thankful

My boyfriend and I called regarding a kitten we rescued possibly having bronchitis and the person who answered was named Melissa she was completely rude and would keep hanging up the phone instead of answering the question. I don’t know what her job is but I wish she would’ve at least given us a better phone number to call if that was the problem we will never be going here and will find better service elsewhere because of Melissa.

I was on hold for over ten minutes and when I finally got an answer, a woman named Melissa answered the phone and was extremely rude. She hung up on me immediately. I tried calling back five times and each time Melissa hung up the phone and would not take any questions. She then blocked my phone number. I will NEVER use this vet and will be proactively making sure that my family and friends also does not use this vet.

This is such a wonderful office! Everyone is super helpful and provide so much information. They really do care for your fur babies and take the time to ensure they are happy and healthy! Highly recommend!!

You won't find a more caring place to Rely on for your pet care. They went above and beyond when they helped me with my 16 year old pet Kitty was passing away. They really helped me get through an impossible situation. I highly recommend VCA Tri county animal hospital.

Although you have some good reviews here, don't be fooled people. My story about my dog is not going to be, My dog developed a tumor on his foreleg that was growing and affecting his mobility. Dr. Wallace was the person that suggested surgery and removal of the tumor and send to get biopsy. I agreed with the fast talking Doctor. even though my Dog is 12 yrs old I needed to know if it was a malignant tumor. Day 1 operation begins and completed then he was bandaged and drugged up for pain. I pick him up and bring him home. Day 2 he appeared to be alright in the a.m eating and drinking but his paw and leg looked so swollen. I grew concerned and decided to bring him back to have his pressure bandage checked, to my surprise I was told that Dr. Wallace went on vacation. Flag #1 why didn't he tell me prior to operation he was not going to be here., and refer me to another Dr. in case something goes wrong which it did. The Tech takes my dog to release the bandage on his leg. Then gives him a pain injection and inflammation injection together, he was drugged up. I hoped for the best and leave, while driving my dog starts to bleed. I panicked and made a u-turn to bring him back. Flag #2 the girl at the front desk Melissa was turning me away and that I should go to ER room because they will close in a hour. She was more concern about herself than me, I pleaded its a hour away, my dog is bleeding. She gets the tech and they clean him up and re bandage him. I get him back he is very sedated and i drive home. That evening he could not walk, eat, or move. I prayed that the drug will wear off, but it never did, in the morning my baby is dead. I know he died of respiratory heart attack. That amount of drug he was given he should of been monitored. I am devastated. I will never return to this place. The manager Carol all she could say is I'm sorry? My beloved dog is dead.

Always get the help I need. And everyone is knowledgeable and friendly.

Long waits always. Huge fees. Staff is very dishonest. Don't trust your fur baby with this outfit!!

The stuff was very helpful & informative. They nicely helped me carry out my Yorkie & also helped me bring her inside, since I use a walker. I very much appreciated their helpful assistance.

This place is the best! Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The prices were not bad either. They gave a cute welcome bag with a big bag of Science Diet dog food! Most importantly they listened to what was going on with my fur baby and took the time to really try to address the problems she was having. Thank you!

Staff is always friendly and attentive. They take pride in their care for our animals, we have been taking our dog there for over a year now and just took our baby kitten for her first shots. Great team that provides amazing care for our little ones. Thanks VCA!

Good people good doctors good nurses

Nurses are very nice, people wear face covering and abide social distancing. Place is clean and it's easy to make appointments. I'm taking one star because the time spent talking with the actual dr is almost less than a minute. Due to covid they take the pet away for examination, so I do not know how much time in reality does the Dr. spend with the pet, but the time spent talking with the owner is minimal. Nurses are there for questions and seem knowledgeable so that's why I'm taking only one star.

Excellent patient care and superb customer service. Would and do send friends and family there. Want the best care for your 4 legged family members look no further.

They have the best dog and cat groomers, my cat always looks great when he comes home

We had to have our cat Lily put down on Monday and the staff, including the tech and Dr. Wallace could not have been more patient or compassionate.

My Wife and I go to VCA for all our animals, Dr. Wallace is by far the BEST Vet we have ever come across, He really does truly care about ALL of his patients, He understands how you feel about your babies. Dr. Wallace is very understanding of your financial situations. He does everything he can for your little babies, so they have a long/ healthy life. We love ALL the stuff there, They are amazing! I will never go to another Vet office
