I used to bring my yellow lab lab in the past here regularly where two wonderful caring docs helped heal her recurrent ear and paw infections, hot spots, get her allergies in check, vaccinate, etc until today… where the MA Chris not only had an attitude while going trough his questionnaire but also uncalled for advise regarding my choice of leash which in his opinion was making me not control my dog (not the case). After a 5min consult where the doc checks her ear and inflamed joint I’m being presented with a $900 expected bill - I understand X-rays are expensive but that was only $350 … the total bill included all kind of pumped up fees which, I wasn’t gonna pay for today… not with that kind of customer service at least! Long story short I left and of course was asked to pay $90 for the 5min exam for the doc to confirm what I already knew - that my dog had a ear infection and an inflamed joint that needed an X-ray. Sorry, I won’t bring my pet here ever again. Mind you I’m posting this from another vets office where the consultation is $60 and X-ray is $150, and! Nobody seems to have an issue with my dogs collar, or busy giving me attitude. Smh.

Dr Andazola is amazing, informative, caring, and very helpful. I took my African Sulcata Tortoise to him and was so pleased with the care he received that I took my German Shepherd to him when she became sick. The entire team is a pleasure to work with and they are all very helpful and informative. I highly recommend! Thank you VCA Coral Animal Hospital, and thank you Dr Andazola!

Gave myself 45 minutes to get off the island and traffic was crazy for some reason. I called and talked to Kasey saying I might be late and she was wonderful. I really wasn’t expecting that at all so the rest of my trip in was relaxing. When I arrived they were so professional, kind and my doctor was wonderful also… Thank You once again for a great experience at your facility!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were treated with the upmost friendliness. Our puppy Duece was adored by the whole staff and you can tell everyone who works there loves animals. The vet tech who assisted us was so amazing, personal, informational, and put a lot of our concerns at ease. I can't remember her name but she was tall, skinny, had dark hair, tattoos, and said she had a boxer like us. Also, Dr Long was amazing. He reassured us that we can call with questions at any time and answered all of the ones we had at our visit. He called the next day for results as promised and overall is just a really cool guy. Not to mention the Care Club program they have that covers a lot of the cost is superb. We will be bringing our other dog Moka next week and we hope to continue care here for a long long time.

My dear dog companion of nearly 16 years recently had to be put to sleep. Everyone we came in contact with at the clinic treated us with the utmost empathy. I will forever be grateful for the kindness we were shown.

I dropped an injured small bunny off for Crow to pick up. The gal at the front desk put it in a box and took it away, not even caring about it. I called an hour later and "Ashley" said she thought it was still there. I called Crow later to see how it was doing and they said they had not admitted a bunny from the vet. So I called Coral back and got "Linda" this time who was just as unhelpful as Ashley. First she said she couldn't tell me anything about the bunny because it was not my personal animal! What? I said I dropped it off and I was very concerned what happened to the poor thing. She put me on hold and came back and told me "It died." I was crying thinking about that poor creature laying there suffering, dying in a box. They should have had some compassion and looked it over and at least put it down if it was too badly injured to save. I hope management reads these reviews, because the front staff could learn a thing or two about caring and compassion.

This is the place to go for good care as well as getting your pet USDA approved in case you plan to travel oversees. Lynda and the whole team were very professional, reliable and helpful regarding filling out the necessary papers. Thank you! Rio is doing great!

Dr. Hollenbeck and staff were courteous and knowledgeable. She diagnosed my Moose (cat) with a urinary blockage as a walk in appt today. He's in bad shape but Dr. Hollenbeck was able to skillfully unblock him with a suction type catheter which Colonial Animal Hospital commended because it is difficult to do. Unfortunately, they were not able to keep Moose overnight because its Saturday but they gave me the recommendation of Colonial Animal Clinic and so far I am pleased with them for Moose's continued care. She explained all my options thoroughly and was able to give me an honest estimate. She and her staff showed me compassion when I was crying and upset. Praying my baby gets better soon but I wanted to thank this clinic for their excellent emergency services today.

With a staff of more than six, l was kept outside with my puppy in my arms in the rain! Plus they expected me to dial them to obtain entrance. Not easy to do with juggling umbrella, puppy, purse and docs. Didn't they ever hear of an awning or a doorbell??? Not paying for all those people's salaries. Will not go back.

VCA Coral Animal is the best. The vets are fabulous and really care about your furry family. The vets explain everything to us and answer any of our questions. The staff is also so kind and helpful. Everyone is kind, compassionate and caring. I would never bring my pets to anyone else.

What I liked was the veterinarian who saw my dog called a few days after to check on her but what I didn't like was she was taken to a different room to see the veterinarian while I had to stay in the room we were taken too. I didn't see the point in this but I was in a lot of pain afterwards from having to sit on a hard wooden bench.

My 84 yr old mother has been taking her animals to this place for many years. Today, I simply cannot understand the total lack of compassion, empathy and resistance by office manager, and at times, other staff who could not even see their way clear to see her dying 15yr old cat. She has been paying for twice weekly fluid infusions for weeks and today, of all days they weren’t going to bother with that unless the cat sees the vet. Oh by the way—-no appt available, but begrudgingly offered a squeeze in appt at 2pm! Which was no guarantee, forcing an emergent run to another vet. Upon contacting the Coral office for current labs, the office manager tells the emergent office that they need to take this cat now because Coral will not see her anymore. This uncompassionate, place dumped my mothers dying cat. A copy of this has been sent to the Florida Veterinary Board. Very sad..I could wave off the many times before this of having to wait in a hot car with a weak animal, waiting for IV fluids with not even an offer to place her in a cooler place inside the building, or the seizure the cat suffered on the way to Coral for fluids. But, this was totally inexcusable. If there was a less than one star emoji, I would have pushed that instead.

In the beginning of the new year we had to say goodbye to our sweet baby Kiwi. She was part of our family for 16 wonderful years but started noticeably slipping shortly before. As they say “it was time” - never easy... Dr. Oyer and the staff were so compassionate and caring and made the whole transition so loving and peaceful. Thanking you for your kindness❤️

Absolutely love Dr. Flanigan and highly recommend her. We've been a few times and she's very nice and honest and you don't feel like she's pushing services on you. The office is really nice too and the staff. The only feedback I have is that the Tech that came in took my animal to another room to be examined without me present. She also tried to push all of these services on me which I didn't really appreciate. She did make it clear what costs were and how much I would be paying that day. Maybe she works on commission. Anyway, by the time the doctor came I was a bit anxious which tainted my experience with Dr. Flanigan. Pet Owners want to be with their pets and not be in a high pressure sales environment. I would have given 5 stars would this not have happened.
