Does Petco have something against pet turtles? I was refused to be allowed to purchase 3 pleco fish by the store manager because I happened to mention that I had a turtle in the tank. She stated that she would not sell them because the turtle would "eat them. I explained that I've had my turtle 37 yrs and have always had fish in her tank and has never eaten them. The olexos would've had a nice home in a beautiful tank! She still refused...but im sure it would've been fine if i were ro buy a Beta fish and keep it in a coffee mug right?! So ridiculous! I did not see any policy posted on restrictions to buying fish? The manager was also rude and very unfriendly. I spend hundreds of dollars at Petco...I will go elsewhere from now on...you can keep your pet pal reward points!

The one in Fort Myers is good but they won't have new fish till end of January , the one in Naples does not sale saltwater fish and the one in Gulf Coast sales saltwater fish and have a so so variety.

The person waiting on me really cares about me and my animals. She saw me waiting in line and opened another cashier to help several of us. She is awesome every time I go in!

Not the store or the employees at a particular location. The pecto cooperation as an entity is horrible.

The associate, Hali, that helped me when I went in to pick up my order was absolutely phenomenal! She was super busy, she had a line full of people checking out, but she was sooooo friendly and positive to every single customer! I was super impressed with her demeanor.

Got so Monday animals from here! Soon to get a new ferret!

Eric our groomer was super friendly and helpful. You can tell he cares about customer service. Trimmed my dog's nails and brush her teeth.

(The picture is of my monitor I saved from petco two months ago) I saw some very unhealthy savannah monitors at this location please to whom this may concern provide proper heating and lighting as in basking spots I fail to see them. These lizards are from the savannahs of Africa and their cages are as dark as a cave. Savannah monitors only grow between 3 and 4 feet but petcos sight says 1-7 feet. Petco generalizes lizards such as Tegus and monitors however they live in different hemispeheres?** You can't compare the husbandry of a savannah and the husbandry of a Tegu if one is native to South America and the other to Africa** I don't know how someone thinks this is ok . Note : savannah monitors can bite hard enough to draw blood and will bite you or tail whip you if they are threatened.

Layne does an amazing job grooming our dog that sheds a lot. She has done the best job so far and is super sweet. Glad we switched to this location and I am sure our dog is too ????.

OVERCHARGE for MANY dog haircuts after giving me the price.......... NOT GOOD..... $57 a haircut for 3 dogs at a time, when the original price, less than 6 months ago was $44...............................................

This is for Petco as a company, not specific store. Awful company with a “holier then thou” attitude/beliefs/ideas, while selling knowingly sick animals. How ironic

Just want to give a shoot out to an employee named Hailey at the gulfcoast location. She was able to help he find exactly what I needed as she was unloading a large pallet. She even suggested for me to mix my dogs old food with the new for a few days and even suggested pumpkin for fiber. I have been in the vet field for over 15 years and she is exactly right. I kept quiet and welcomed the useful information. I usually don't go out of my way to do reviews but she was worth mentioning.
