We never knew Lil Rascals was at Gulf Coast Town Center, yet we stopped in to see the puppies once we knew it was there. We absolutely fell in LOVE with a purebred mini poodle after having just lost our 17 year old poodle just weeks before. PHENOMENAL experience, the store was absolutely SPOTLESS, the staff was WONDERFUL and the puppies are so well cared for! Thank You for our beautiful Jilly Beans...shes’s filling the hole in our hearts where the rain comes in! Highly recommend Lil Rascals! 20 STARS ACROSS!!!

This place needs to be shut down. The shop is so filthy that it is unbearable to even stay in there for a short amount of time. The poor dogs sleep and sit in filth. So sad to see these dogs in there.

It always brings a smile to my face to gaze in through the window of Lil Rascals. This adorable Pomeranian caught my eye; and he is not the only one to, it seems from the reviews that many pups have found their forever homes and for that I am grateful. Again, from other reviews it seems that Lil Rascals is taking good care of their pups, but the one time I’ve entered the store all the dogs seemed very lackluster and hardly acknowledged my presence… I would just like to kindly suggest that if these dogs are not taken on walks very often maybe letting them outside in a pen (supervised of course) or them being walked by an employee might be a good way to showcase your selection to people in the market for a puppy and it would also keep the dogs happy and healthy.

When we walked in the door the smell hit you in your face. I was so appealed by the puppies care. We saw a very young puppy blue French bull dog that was in horrible condition. She was in the front of the store. She was in a very dirty pen. She had not been cleared by the vet as the staff had told us and they were still trying to sell her. The don't care one bit about the dogs well being. You could tell that she was so weak. I hope the owners reply cause they need to have a better cleaning staff and make sure that only have healthy puppies in the front. Then the need to have the sick puppies in the back with the care they need or they need to have someone that knows how to take care of them. I would like to hear what the owners say.

Brought my Sharpei beagle home and a few weeks later he had ear hematomas from an ear infection they never treated!!! Terrible place that does not take care of their dogs, needs to be shut down immediately.

I can’t say enough about my guys I got from little rascals. They are my life, my joy!… DNA says they’re perfect health and exactly the breeds they were sold to me as… Dexter is an Aussiedoodle. He’s almost 2. Cooper is shitzu. He’s 4 months today. ♥️… Dexter is so happy I got him a puppy!

I bought my first puppy from here!! She’s the sweetest and cutest little thing for such a reasonable price for the breed. Amber and Malea were so helpful in assisting me and made it overall a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend Lil Rascals.

Writing this because I was so horrified by how these dogs are being cared for. They were all sitting in small pens in their own pee. The store's floor was covered in pee and smelled overwhelming. The employees were making no effort to clean this up or care for the dogs. This is so wrong! Way too many dogs for such a small store, worst condition I've ever seen dogs in. It really bothers me that this type of store even exists anymore - if you're going to sell dogs please care for them, give them space and attention!!! And offering finacing for pets is also terrbile, that encourages owners that are less serious about having a pet. Please do not buy a pet here! Adopt or go through a reputable breeder.

Years ago, I bought a puppy from them, I was told it was from a local breeder. He was adorable, and we decided to finance them using their 0% interested through a third party. What the paperwork did not show was that there was a "financing fee," the monthly payment of that fee was a little more than the monthly payment for the dog. If we paid the minimums on time, we would've paid more than double the initial price of the dog. We paid it off immediately to avoid this scam. Out of curiosity, I walked by a few weeks ago, the dogs look sad, dirty and it smells awful. I later learned, from my brother who attempted to get a dog from here that the financing scam is still in place, and that he was told the breeders were from out of state (puppymill, I assume). While I love my dog, I regret ever help finance this place. Now they are on WINK News for the same financing issues, and I just felt like I had to tell share my experience as the store is acting as if they are not responsible for the financing the third party they partner with provide. Don't go here. Research, adopt elsewhere, meet a breeder in person if necessary, but this place is no better than Pet Kingdom or Petland.

Store smells horrible, very dirty. Puppies sitting in small pens in their own filth. Animal rescue should be involved at this point ????

I walked into this store with my grandma to buy a dog (we had looked at a dog animal shelter 2 hours before going into this store) and the smell was worse than the DOG POUND with 50+ dogs!! We were disgusted. I actually had to plug my nose. We understand if there is a smell because they’re dogs, but the smell in there smells like they’re being neglected, and when u see the dogs they look like they’ve been overbred, most of them look really bad and ugly besides a few of them. Their fur is gross and need to be cleaned. Are the owners aware of what’s going on??? It looks like NO effort had been made in cleaning ANY of these cages. For a “high end” puppy shop this place is disgusting. My grandma wanted to buy a dog just to get it out of this place for its safety. Horrible

My daughter bought a puppy from this place recently and it was so sick due to the conditions of this store. Furthermore, the owner was trying to pass it off as a purebred which any dog owner could tell was not the breed she was claiming. We had this confirmed by our longtime vet. The odor when you walked in the door was horrendous in addition to the unsanitary conditions of the place. These dogs were living in their own feces. Thank goodness Animal Control came in and seized 19 puppies! This owner is uncaring, neglectful and an animal abuser. She needs to be shut down as she is profiting off of puppy mills. I just saw her interview on NBC-2 news and she is crying saying that these dogs were her family! Utterly disgusting…..please shut this store for good!

I don’t know how this place is still in business with the way they handles these poor dogs. It’s clear that the area is not well maintained and I have heard many stories of puppies bought there experiencing serious issues/sicknesses.

The puppies were abused and neglected. The owner is all over the news for the abuses. Shameful practice. Shameful person.

This place genuinely needs to be shut down. I have seen dogs treated better at the pound. Dogs were essentially bathing in their pee, looked hungry, desperate for attention. Never have I seen dogs so neglected. Place smells like pee and can tell they don’t pride themselves on delivering a good life to dogs as much as they care about a profit. You can smell the odor from outside at the restaurant next door. Disgusting. This place should be ashamed of itself. If I could rate it zero stars I would.

This place has the worst smell ever. You can smell the urine from outside the door. Everytime I go in there it's always dirty and smells terrible. Dogs are cute, too bad they are overpriced.

We walked and seen adorable puppies, but it seemed they weren’t taken care of, dirty, no food and no beds. They had dogs in cages in the back that just seemed so sad. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone, but at the same time I’d like to see those pups out of that poor situation. I really wish I could give it 0 stars. Poor pups.

Predatory lending 150% interest if you go through their third party financing. Their full disclosure is gee did you read the fine print? If you want a pure breed go to a reputable breeder. I'm not going to push people to adopt as much as I'm saying there are good breeders out there. And you won't be paying jacked up prices like $3,000 for a Dalmatian. And if you had that 150% interest rate well gee you just bought yourself a car oh I'm sorry a dog.

It’s a shame still seeing puppies produced by puppy mills sold. What they won’t tell you is that all their puppies are provided by puppy mills many of which claim to be rescues and by paperwork disguise themselves - you can visit Bailingoutbenji.com for more info about this store and many similar. The store itself is disgusting. I understand it’s hard to keep clean with so many puppies and obviously there is to be some sort of smell but the stink is ridiculous and absolutely overwhelming. Please do your own independent research before you buy.

I stopped in recently to browse the puppies. I have to admit that I was taken back by the smell when we opened the door. Now, honestly, most places with many animals have an odor. This smell, however, was the smell of filth. My heart went out to the puppies because they are so innocent and vulnerable. I am a believer that all dogs need a home rescue or from a pet store. So I don’t want to encourage people not to shop there because quite honestly they all need to get out of that place. The poor pups where so dirty. To be specific greasy hair, knotted hair, blankets in play pens were dirty. Like I said all pet places have a smell. Every puppy in this place needs to be cared for. There is no excuse for them to be unbathed and not have clean blankets to rest on. Bathe the dogs, wash the blankets, and mop the floors. Seems standard and humane. Seriously, they need to treat those puppies with dignity. They are not just money makers!

We went in and were greeted by Vanessa, all I have to say is amazing. She was willing to help us even though there were several difficulties. As for the puppy we bought, she is amazing and beautiful. This was a great experience!!
