Took my dogs here for their shots. I asked them to only do the services that were necessary because I was on a tight budget because I have two little ones and covid impacted us. They worked with me and then when I called in a month later to ask for a prescription for flea medicine so I could get it off of chewy, they refused then offered to price match and then they said they wouldn’t price match and would charge $10 for the prescription. When I called in the lady told me my dogs were overdue on their rabies shot and I was surprised because that’s what I took my dogs in for a month before. Come to find out they never gave them shots because one was “medically excused” and the other I never got an answer for and they charge me for a shot that was never provided and refused to put it back on my card and would only give store credit. Now I called because I needed my dogs to get checked out because something was wrong and they black listed me and would not tell me why? Maybe because I have a budget? Who knows but they obviously don’t care about you nor your pets. All they care about is $$$. I honestly had high hopes for this place, I have never had any vet do what they did to me.

I recently moved to Fort Myers from Naples but was still driving to my vet in Naples. That gets old quickly. Especially when this spot is 3 miles away from where I live now. My wiener dog hurt his back and they were super accommodating. Got me in the next day first thing. It didn’t hurt that the doctor had a wiener dog sweater. Everyone is super friendly and the prices are great compared to over inflated Naples prices. They even called twice to make sure he was doing better. This is our new spot for sure. ????

I have gone to this vet for 4 years but was treated so poorly my the owner that we have decided to take our dog elsewhere. If you want to be treated like a human being and a customer take your money to another vet in town. The owner was unprofessional and is a COVID freak to make matters worse.

My 13yr old chihuahua’s teeth were in horrible condition. A few vets didn’t want to treat him because he has a heart murmur. Many teeth had to be pulled. Dr Courtney Butts said she would do it!! He’s recovering now! I’m so happy! Everyone was great and took great care of my Lucky! So grateful!!

Our first visit to the Clinic, and I was very impressed. The staff was more than accommodating, and other than my weird sense of humor, they let all go. I would recommend this office to anyone to care for their pets

Everyone was amazingly pleasant, and knowledgeable. Even though it was a new vet for Nora, I could tell she was relaxed and she loved the attention. The treat at the end of the visit wasn't bad either!

Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Put my mind at ease when they took our Westie in almost immediately for her condition. Follow up call was very nice to make sure our dog was responding to medication and feeling better. My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Dr. Jones for fifteen years. We feel perfectly comfortable boarding here as well! They take exceptional care of our beloved pets!

We have been bringing our dog(s) to Mcgregor since moving down to Florida. We moved at one point from Fort Myers to Cape Coral and transferred his care for one single visit to a location more convenient to Our NW cape home. We moved back into Fort Myers and when our dog Manny was nearing the last leg of his life we called Mcgregor to bring Manny in to discuss what that looks like. We set the appt and got a call back that the "Doctor didnt think it was a good idea" and she didnt approve the appointment seeing as how we had been seen elsewhere. I explained it was for one visit, all his other check-ups had been done at mcgregor. She put me on hold to ask the doctor again and at this point I actually became emotional while waiting, when she came back again saying it had to be cleared by the doctor I asked if we did something to offend them? because I didnt understand why they wouldnt see our dog during this hard time for all of our Family especially our 3 year old listening to his dad talk about our dog dying. Again she said the doctor refuses to set the appointment and we need to be seen elsewhere. While the dog needs immediate care, their suggestion was to go to a different clinic, sign a release, send the release to them, have them send all their files from the last 5 years and then assess? What a terrible way to end years of service from a Vet.

Kali the cat needed attention for her URI and I was so happy the receptionist was able to schedule an appointment for her right away. Another place I called said they were too busy checking someone out and never even bothered to call me back. So now that she's in Dr. Lura's very competent hands, I'm confident after all the personal attention and care she got today, she'll be back to her spunky self in no time at all. Thank you so much, Dr. Lura and staff for a very nice visit today.

Started taking my new puppy to two other veterinarians which I was displeased with and then someone told me about the Mc Gregor vet. He's been going there for six years. His puppy pic is below. Have never had any reason to not trust them. Their costs are not above or below any other animal care facilities. My only beef with them and were the same with the other two vets previously was they were not willing to give me a prescription for heart worm pills so I could purchase online at a much cheaper price. I understood their reasoning but thought it to be a bit dubious as an excuse for them to tell me those out there in the internet world were not on the up and up and that they wouldn't be respondsible if I were to purchase bad medicine. Other than that they are a good group so far. I would recommend at this time. They have taken good care of this guy.

Very polite clinical and administrative staff, but in my experience the billing process seems either unstructured or too ambiguous to truly understand until they hand you an estimate. Somehow the information I gave the front desk was misinterpreted and I ended up spending $100 more than I intended, and they called me back to tell me that they missed a charge. Basically it's a great vet if you care way more about a nice building and a smiling staff than transparency and keeping your money. Doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful; nothing bad to say on that front. I hope they find a way to include more integrity in their billing process.

Not good at their jobs. One of my dogs had diarrhea and it took 3 visits, 3 different antibiotics and a probiotic. My other dog has a skin condition and needed blood work. The blood work was supposed to take 2 weeks, but took about 2 months. Also, they were very rude and disrespectful during my last appointment. An employee, that I’ve never seen before, was extremely aggressive towards my dog and when I said something to him, he said “sit down” to me, like I was a dog. When I told him not to speak to me like that, he got in my face and pulled his hand back ready to throw a punch. I walked out. Don’t waste your money here, find a better veterinarian.

The veterinarians are phenomenal. I knew it the moment I took a tour and the vet got got down on the floor to interact with my dog. The care we have received has been wonderful. I highly recommend this practice. They are patient and kind. The cost is exactly what I paid at a former vet, but is far superior.

The best Vet clinic/hospital that I have ever had the pleasure of taking our pets to. The ENTIRE staff truly cares and it shows from the minute you walk in the door, to the follow up calls that come days after, to see how everything is going. They go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

There are not enough words to describe the love and gratitude my family has for Dr. Courtney. Not only has she become one of our absolute dearest friends, but she is a true hero among animals. Two years ago this month, unexpectedly and out of absolutely nowhere, our little Pug suffered multiple horrific seizures in a very short amount of time. While most vets would simply say "it's time," Courtney brainstormed and beta tested treatment for literally four hours until she finally found a cocktail of medication that worked. We had to watch Pig suffer through seizures over and over again until she found something that worked. She never ever ever gave up on him. Pig turns 14 this month and he is as happy and healthy as he was as a puppy, running and playing all day everyday with his Rottweiler brother. Thank you so very much to Dr. Courtney and her team for never giving up and saving his life! We are forever indebted to you!

Took great care of my new puppy, told me everything there is to know about puppies (havent had a puppy in 20 years), on time, caring and very loving staff. Felt very welcomed. Highly recommend this vet ❤

I have been going to Dr Laura for years. I just had to put one of my dogs to sleep last week. All of the staff was so caring and they helped me through this very rough time. Thank you just does not see to be enough. I would not dream of going to anyone else.

Dr Butts is the best

The Vet was good but I was insulted by the way she spoke to me. She did not quite understand my situation and scolded me for neglecting my almost 14 year old dog! I am afraid to go back there. The bills are high but they are everywhere I guess. I will be looking for another Vet around here if and when I need it.
