They were pushing x-rays when my cat was on vet table dropping the first drop of blood I saw since cat fight. I examined her and saw a slash on her stomach. I cancelled x-rays and requested her temp be taken instead. The clipping and cleaning was a great deal, but even though I gave permission for antibiotics, they gave her a $90 antibiotic shot instead of the less expensive pink liquid with the dropper.

Dr. Hendon does a great job taking care of our dog, when we are there for the winter. Thank you

Terrible experience all around!! The vet assistants were very condescending and rude. They did not go over in depths what they were charging me for. The vet him self accused my 6 year old golden doodle of having dementia. And he also did not listen to my requests when it came to vacating her. I believe that much of this horrible experience was due to the fact that they dragged my dog out of my car and I was not allowed to go in with her. 10 out of 10 would not recommend!!!

We took our dachshund to Dr. Barry Hendon to be neutered. From the front staff was kind and compassionate. The doctor took his time and explained the procedure that he was going to perform on my fur baby. The surgery went well without any complications. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Barry !!!!!!

Dr Hendon was the first vet my baby boy ever saw. Dr Hendon fixed him as a puppy and is now helping him in his final days as a Geriatric old man puppy ???? I cannot stress how professional and caring all the staff is at the hospital in fact I used to work there over a decade ago. Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital puts that true trust factor and leaves you feeling confident. With incredibly competent & caring AND thorough veterinarians, with great staff who try very hard and are very caring and listen to how you feel about your animal. They take the time, they are professional they are courteous and respectful. Please know, if you are stressed, they know, but be kind & respectful, we are all human. Thank you Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital for all you do and for watching my baby boy Sonic from 1st Vet visit...to the Last Vet visit. He's lived an amazing life!

I take my cats there for check ups and dr Sutton is great there

I called my regular vet to see if they would be able to fit me in for my dog’s stomach issue, and they couldn’t, but asked me to try Daniels Parkway. I called over and they said they were booked, but if I could get there quickly, they would squeeze me in. I rushed over and was seen immediately. Everyone was so thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Hendon sat on the floor outside with us until my dog got comfortable while we talked about his history. Absolutely amazing experience at the vet, and he even gave a bunch of recommendations for things that would help my dog and save us money. I’m so pleased with my experience and am recommending him to everyone in the area. He requested I call him back so he could hear about my dog’s progress, and I am not even a regular patient. Really great!

I would NOT recommend this Vet! I left this place years ago for being over priced and having no compassion for my pets. I recently adopted a kitten. They gave him a booster shot (flu/virus) behind the left ear. Who does that? Now, he has an upper respiratory infection along with a swollen neck and ear. ALWAYS be there when they vaccinate your pet! I wasn’t and knew better!!! VCA Dr. Bradley is by far the best!

Dr. Hendon is a super nice person, and the clinic is great to the animals!

Vet tech Jackie and Dr Kacheline are AWESOME! Not knowing what's wrong with your animal is scary enough, but not be able to go in with my cat really frightened me. Jackie made me feel so much more comfortable and calm, asking all the questions and gave me some really great advice!! Dr Kacheline was very professional and you can tell she really loves what she does! So happy I found this vet. You guys rock!

This is the worst vets office I’ve ever been too. They do not care about your pet, and they don't work with you or care about your experience. They come up with a treatment plan or tell you what the dog needs with not a hint of the cost or other options. Then the prices are ridiculous and I would never mind paying if my dog was actually healthy. But this play just wants your money every time you walk in they are trying to sell you something or hounding you for an up sell. 0/10 recommend

Amazingly friendly, and far more affordable than any vet I’ve been to. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable.

We took our dog there to get her yearly check up & shots. This was our 1st time there. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They have a different approach to seeing your pet. They take you to a separate room that's set up to look like a room in your home. Our dog could even get on the couch with us. A technician takes initial information, then clips nails or in our dogs case they took her to the back. She doesn't like her feet touched. We didn't hear her make a fuss. They brought her back. The Veterinarian came in & got to know our dog by interacting with her by giving her treats, talking to her and had her do a couple commands & tricks. Our dog came back over & sat with us. The Vet came over to see if she would let him give her shots. Of course she wouldn't. The Vet took the time to tell us why she was that way. He then took her to the back & gave her the shot. When they came back in the room, they were friends again. The pricing is higher, but I like their approach! They also have Suite Boarding connected to their office, called CHAMPION KENNELS. We have used them twice. Each animal has their own suite. They never allow all the dogs to mix together. They get walked as many times a day as allowed. There is a play room they go in with a tech. There are toys and play time is encouraged. You also may find a tech in the suite with your pet playing with them. They care about your pet & will treat them like you do!

If you love your pets do not bring them here - I brought my dog with cough and they just gave me some BS antibiotic which made him get worse. I went back and they switched the antibiotics which did nothing either. I took him to another vet, they did an X ray and discovered my dog had a pneumonia. Basically if I didn’t go to another vet right away and continued with their BS treatment he wouldn’t have made it.

Great staff, always kind and helpful. I have been taking my animals here for years. Thanks to Marlin and Rainy for helping with my cat's nail trims, total lifesavers.

Going to look for a new vet

A few weeks ago I brought my 13 year old dog to be put down because she was very sick and almost unresponsive. The doctor was angelic. She took her time talking to us and gave us as much time as we needed. It was if she were caring for her own dog. A week after I received a personalized card from all of the staff. Just yesterday I received a condolence card from University of Florida letting me know that Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital had made a donation to their veterinary school in my dog's name, Bear Amber.

Dr. Barry Hendon is by far the best Vet I have ever met, but he is also a very kind human being. I can not say enough about the excellent service I received. My Baby is doing so much better. And I would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU

I wish I could post pictures of my dog. He had a terrible eye infection which I was told by another vet would require surgery and 1000s of $s. But these ppl took great care and after just 2 days his eye almost looks normal. Thank you. Thank you Thank you

I was only picking up food for a client of mine. But everyone here was very friendly and very helpful.

I continue to use them because they know my dog. Staff caring for the animals ate wonderful. I don't really care for the groomers personality . She looks too rough for me or my dog

Great care for my furbabies

I’m so grateful for the care and attention Marlin and Dr. Sutton gave our baby. I felt comforted my Dr. Sutton’s calmness while recognizing the urgency of care and her confidence in a treatment plan. They took my love on in without any appt and treated her and me like I was family. I can’t say enough. I would have paid anything to help our dog but on top of the compassion, giving me a donut that employees brought in and telling me to go home and nap while they observed her after I’d been up all night, the price for service was more than fair!

My previous review was an error due to the stupid touch pal pop ups in my phone. Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital is a fantastic place for your pets with a wonderful compassionate staff! Their boarding facility rocks!!
