Staff is very knowledgeable and informative and will take good care of your pet. They do not push any service that is not needed, and have found they charge reasonable fees for visits, services and supplies. They make you feel like family' and during our 2nd visit is was wonderful to see a sign welcoming their new patients to the practice our Maverick included.

So glad to have found this place for our puppy. Love the staff and the vets.

My cat had been lethargic and not eating as much so I brought her in and met with Dr. Stratton on Monday who did some blood work and determined she had an infection. Gave her some antibiotics and said she should be feeling better by the next day. The next day, Tuesday, she was not feeling better so we went back and met with Dr. Shivers. While Dr. Shivers did perform the tests I asked for, he also told me I was being overly worried and that she was fine. Turns out I was not overreacting because by Friday, we had to put her down after a vet who took me seriously performed the tests we needed and found out she was full of fluid, had a mass on her heart, and likely was suffering from heart failure. Following this my mother called Companion Pet Care to let them know what had happened and asked them explicitly NOT to call me as I was grieving the loss of my baby. What did Dr. Shivers do? Called me the next day. I don’t think there was anything they could have done to prevent what happened to my baby - and I liked working with Dr. Stratton - but I would never want to work with a vet like Dr. Shivers who doesn’t take my concerns seriously, brushes me off, and disregards my explicit requests. Plus, they charge $20 for a nail trim which is quite honestly ridiculous.

Dr Shivers is great with animals. He's been our pet Dr for years now.

We love our vet :) we’ve had to make several visits recently, since getting a new puppy. They are always so professional and friendly. The clinic is so clean but the environment also feels warm and inviting instead of sterile. All staff is wonderful with both our dogs. Amanda is always such a friendly voice on the phone!

I am VERY picky when it comes to my vet care. I have a lot of experience with home vet care, coming from a remote location in northern Ontario, Canada. I did a lot of research of area vets before choosing Companion Pet Care 2 years ago. I couldn't be happier! I absolutely LOVE how much the staff is understanding of my knowledge, and keeps the conversations at the appropriate levels for me! Dr. Stratton always takes the extra time to genuinely discuss all symptoms and treatment plans. I NEVER feel rushed into making a decision for my fur baby. Since choosing them as my family vet, I have moved to a location with several vets closer to me, but I refuse to transfer! The genuine love and care the staff show my Duke and me have me hooked! Truly an amazing vet!

I can recommend with confidence Companion pet care. The techs are always helpful and friendly and I have complete trust in the doctors. I would travel whatever distance it took to get my Pei to see Dr Stratton. I appreciate the entire team very much.

I cannot say enough good things about Companion Pet Care! I am just visiting the area and needed a quick check up for my 14-year old pup, but I was hesitant about trying a new vet. However, they did an absolutely amazing job and took care of my dog like she had been a patient for years. Both the doctor and staff were wonderful and so nice! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vet in the Ft. Myers area!

Super accommodating. My breeder required blood/serum to be sent for special testing and Companion Pet Care helped out and got my puppy in the next day. The staff is very friendly as well.

I highly recommend this veterinary office! The staff was wonderful I can’t say enough about them! When I brought my elderly pup in a few weeks ago, the way My pup was cared for was exceptional, and I didn’t feel like “just another dog mom” like some places. They listened to what I was saying about my fur baby, and the manager, Amanda, went above and beyond to make me feel so comfortable (my pup can get quite nervous) and you can really tell where her heart is! so a special thanks to her... and all the other staff, I won’t forget the care! I hope it is recognized :) thank you so much!

My dog was so nervous when he first walked in and so was I but as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and he was just spoiled with treats. 10 out of 10 recommend bring your pets here

I love taking my pets here!! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Amanda was excellent with my new puppy. The vet clinic is very clean, organized, and the prices are better than any other vet I've ever been to!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Stratton and her staff!! My 8 yr old maltese Buddy has been under the care of Dr. Stratton since he was a puppy and whether he was being seen for a check up, dental cleaning (and extractions!) or an emergancy visit, I have always felt Buddy was given the best care available! The staff is very kind and shows compassion. I never feel that I am being sold on something Buddy doesnt need. A special thanks to Nicole, Savannah and Christine for being so awesome!!
