Took my fur baby, Foxy, here for the first time on a Saturday, due to my limited availability. They were extremely busy, but did their best to keep everyone updated on where they were at, and what was going on. My appt was at 3pm, and did have to wait about 1.5 hr before going to the back waiting room, where they then took my dog to ANOTHER room to do the check up. -1 star because I prefer to be there so I can help calm my dog, and see that everything is being done that I want done. That being said, the techs and vet were all very polite and thoughtful. My dog had to be muzzled because she is anxious and snappy, and they alerted me immediately (I'd given prior permission) and asked if I'd like her nails clipped while she was muzzled. The vet was great with all my questions, and took the time to research my dog's food to recommend how much to feed her as she was a bit heavy. JUST BE ADVISED Saturdays are super busy, so expect a long wait if that's your only available time. Also, this IS an emergency center so be prepared to see some really hurt animals while you're here, and really upset pet parents.

Waited over an hour to see vet. They were not busy with emergencies. I had to request the vet perform an examination of my dog for the issue I wanted checked.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been to this vet, and usually we have good service. My wife and I took our dog there on Sunday evening after he had a seizure for aftercare and the staff was overall friendly, the room was very clean. The problem was the fact that neither tech listened to my wife when she relayed info to them, neither tech listened when we told them that he hadn’t been on Phenobarbital for a month and a half, resulting in that lab still being drawn unnecessarily and us being charged for it. My wife and I were already stressed from our dog being anxious and sick, and now had to deal with two techs who didn’t or couldn’t relay information between one another and us having to repeat the same info over and over. Not only that, but we never once saw a vet. I understand this is an emergency vet clinic, but if we’re not going to see a vet at all I expect the tech we deal with to be compassionate instead of being short and rushed with my wife and not listening to us. The prices are fair, but having an unnecessary lab charge is wrong period. On top of that, it goes to show that no one we came in contact with took the time to read the chart OR listen to us since this clinic AND the vet we were “seeing” was the original prescribed of the trial medication. Errors like this are frustrating, costly and shouldn’t happen.

Got my dogs vaccines here for a decent price and was able to come here late for an a emergency! My dog is very nervous and they do well with him everytime!

Very busy and the staff is very rude. Charged us for things they didn’t do. No communication and when u ask questions they get upset. Would not recommend.

This is my second time bringing MY chiweeni Benny here. First time wasn't too long of a wait and staff was help and professional. But this time we waited 3 hours to have someone even look at him. Honestly I believe it was because they are so short staffed. There was literally only one person running the front desk and i felt so bad because it was crazy busy and sonloud. When I finally got to meet the vet she was very apologetic and helpful with my dogs diagnosis.

We paid for the office visit and the doctor did not check our diabetic cat’s glucose levels. Apparently the doctor was in surgery and the nurse took our cat back for the doctor to observe only. They then charged us $70 for insulin which we normally get for 30 Also they charged us for 100 count of needles and we only received 10 with no explanation or cost change. When I called the next day about the Needles, we were told that they did not have any of the prior day and we can come pick up the rest.

Brought our 1 1/2 year old dog here because we were concerned about a bump on his face he had for a week and a half and we felt it was getting worse. Was not able to get an appointment with the vet until a week and a half later and was worried it was causing discomfort. We brought him to this hospital for the first time about 7 pm and the front desk was not friendly, they took us back fairly fast but they almost took back the wrong animal (they were going to take a cat), waiting for the doctor he seemed very rushed when walking in and are dog is very sensitive to people touching his face and after 5 seconds of trying he immediately says we have to sedate him. So they did so and they didn’t bring him back for about an hour and they found the problem and gave meds. The tech told us he will be tired and drowsy for the next day or so. We took him home and he was breathing very very very fast and we were very concerned because she did not mention anything like that so I called them and a guy was on the phone he had no clue how to explain anything and was NOT comforting WHAT so ever so I ask to speak to a tech and he told me he just spoke to one. I told him I would feel better if I spoke to them and he told me that none of the techs wanted to get on the phone and if he kept breathing like that for the next hour come back. We felt that maybe he was over sedated because they said they had to sedate him a little more since he was still trying to bite them. Not going back UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT COMPASSIONATE!

Colonial Animal Hospital has been a Godsend for my fur baby. Everyone from the receptionists, techs to the Dr.s are so caring and compassionate. The 24/7/365 care is excellent! Couldn’t have found a better place to care for my fur children.

Colonial is the absolute best! The prices are very reasonable and they don’t up charge for weekends/after hours. The vet knew right away the issue with our Wrigley. Injections for steroid and antibiotics. Our Wrigs is on the mend just like the vet told us! Grateful to have found this amazing place for all our pets. :).

Whole staff is very kind and professional. Doctor Foxwell was the one who handled my dog's assessment. Luis came out and explained what they did and how it was done. Was surprised they could keep my shiba from moving, while around the wound on his head, without a sedative. Very good place. Definitely would recommend.

We had to say final goodbye to our 12 years old beloved boxer, who could not function anymore. Colonial vet hospital handled the difficult task of euthanasia and dealing with this tragic and emotional event in a very professional and efficient manner. They charged us less than half of everyone else in the Naples area. It is refreshing that a vet hospital is not trying to enrich itself by over charging pet owners in stressful situation. Highly recommended !

This place will kill your cat! We spent thousands here trying to help our 6 year old cat. Our cat had surgery here and for a month after we kept bringing him back, stating that something went wrong. For a month, they told us everything is fine and there is nothing to worry about. So, when I have to put my baby down because of complications a month later... DOES THAT MEAN NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HIM? I hate this place, and the grief it's cause me and my family. They will do nothing but take your money, and care not about your animals. Please please please heed this warning. DO NOT TRUST DR.DANE!! DO NOT GO HERE!! RIP Jon Snow, you were our world.

Mr. Foxwell is amazing! He was friendly, he knew his stuff and kept me in my budget without making me feel awkward about it. The rest of the staff are always patient and attentive. I refuse to go to any other vet. All my fur babies go here and I’d recommend this place 10/10. I have no kids of my own so my fur babies are my life. This place is a life savor!!!!!

My experience was so upsetting that I refuse to go back. I took a day off of work and made an appointment for my sick animal. I arrive for my appointment, check in, and I get told nonchalantly the doctor who I had my appointment with unexpectedly blocked off his schedule and is not available. I stand there as I am offered another appointment in s few days. No apology orexplanation as to why no one called me to let me know the doctor wasn’t there so I could have avoided the 30 minute trip. It was unreal.

Been here a couple times and got seen rather quickly for a walk in each time. All the staff are very nice

First time visit and never again. Will not recommend this place. Waited in the room for more than two hours to get blood work results and see the Vet. By the time I left it was midnight.
