No care for your dog. They take advantage of people bring there pet in that needs help by over charging 5 times the vet. Doesn't matter if your retired or have money. They wanted $1300 to check my pup and even took her to another room without us being there and came back with theses high prices. Than saying my pup was looking better and braking in her crate. My dog is not barker. I took my dog two days later to my vet and she has a mass on her liver. she hag a 104 temp. I don't think they even checked her and charged me $475. I payed $400 for blood test X-rays and meds. Stay away.

Earlier this week my 13.5 yr old Golden retriever soulmate suddenly took a turn for the worse in his battle against lymphoma. Unfortunately, it was time to say that dreaded goodbye. The entire staff at Blue Pearl we’re absolutely amazing and made this difficult experience as peaceful as possible. From Dr. Heinz to the techs and reception staff each person we contacted showed great care, concern and empathy. Thank you for making this very difficult night a little easier for us.

If I could give a zero. I would. I brought my beloved amber there one night after she had collapsed and could not stand on her own. All blue pearl was wanting me to do was spend money on test and not her well being. She was at the end and they just wanted money. I thought about it and decided not to put her through that can see my vet. They were thinking about her and her quality of life and we did what was best for amber not their pockets. I spend money at blue pearl that I should not have because they didn’t care. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. This place is a rip off

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is so attentive and have a great attitude. The lady at the front desk even remembered us and our kitty Cosmo when we walked in! They have been so attentive and open to answer any of my questions. You may have to wait 1-2 hours but it is totally worth it for the service and quality of their veterinarians and vet techs. This is the only place that I will trust with my cat from now on! They are amazing!!

Not a very good experience, The staff seemed very uncaring. I unfortunately got to the facility 25 minutes before shift change so the doctor did not want to see my dog because Her shift was ending in 25 minutes which was 6 AM. The receptionist advised me that someone would come in to check the dog and then I would have to wait to see the doctor after the shift change no one came in I was advised at 6:10 that I would have to wait another hour hour and a half before the doctor could possibly see my dog. I wish dr. would've seen my dog before she left or at least they could've told me that I would be waiting another hour hour and a half because of shift change.

Only getting a star cause you can't give them half or star or none. This place is ridiculous and not helpful for a pet emergency place. Also anytime I call they and rude to me and refuse to even talk to me. They just demand I come in and don't even let me speak. So I'm informing everyone in hopes they dont have the same experience i do.

Took my Great Dane in for possible bloat, and all the staff were the most awessome people. The facility was nice and clean. By the way my girl is OK!!!

I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Aldrich and her team here. My kitty came in with a bladder blockage in really bad condition because his regular vet told us nothing was wrong. They all were super comforting, and very straight forward about what needed to be done in order to save his life. They saved my kitty. I would 100% recommend BluePearl to anyone with any sort of concerns about their furbabies. They won’t disappoint.

Horrible Place!!! Avoid at all cost. They are not certified doctors as they claim. They are certified butchers! We came with our dog at 8 pm. The "doctor" said he's dying and needs an immediate surgery. The cost would be $8,000. I said: no problem. I have $5,000 on me right now and will give you another $3,000 in the morning. They said no and ask me to take a dying dog home. We immediately went to Colonial Animal Hospital where they said it will cost $3,000 and we do not have to pay in full if we do not have enough on us. Since I had more than that, we paid in full. They operated and saved my dog. Great REAL Doctors, Great Staff. AVOID BluePearl Pet Hospital at all cost. Not only they are overpriced, they are without feelings and do not care about your dog. All they care is $. They will kill your animal or will just let him die.

I went to BluePearl in Fort Myers and I would like to thank the staff and Dr. Heintz. My dog was diagnosed with Pyometra. They were very honest about the illness and the cost of it. I really had a good experience at this place. I’ll highly recommend it !!!!

Took my cat in on Sunday, waited about 5 hours but it was worth it. The price was surprisingly low compared to what I've heard people spend for an emergency visit to a vet clinic. They took great care of my cat. Thank you

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate Dr. Scroggin, Val and the others who have cared for Murphy here over the years. They are truly animal lovers and it shows. They went above and beyond supporting us while we had an emergency when traveling, speaking with me and the local veterinarian on multiple occasions. I highly recommend them. I very much appreciate all that you have done. Thank you.

Bailey was favoring his rear left leg after a fairly long morning. We did a walk/jog almost 2 1/2 miles, went fro grooming then to see his grandma at her new residence. I thought maybe we over did it a little. I didn’t wait for a vet appt in two days. I went to Blu Pearl the next day. They couldn’t have been nicer and understanding. This is our baby, and I need to know he’s not in any pain. The doctor was wonderful and had a very calming way of letting me know he would be fine. She said to keep him more relaxed for the next week, and offered a little pain med. Very happy in a seriously scary time. This little one has been through so much, I was over the moon to know this would pass.

My vet closes at noon on Saturdays. So of course my dog starts acting weird after they are closed. Everyone at Blue Pearl was amazing. My dog turned out to be fine and everyone was compassionate and very nice.

I brought my dog in and waited for 3 hours to not be seen by anyone. Staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful.

If I could leave less than one star I would. We brought a small bird to Blue Pearl who had an infected eye and was not flying. Since it was a Sunday night, and CROW is closed and Blue Pearl is a drop off location for CROW, we brought the bird in. We were assured that he/she would be kept safe and warm until CROW picked him up in the morning. When we called CROW later in the week for an update, they told us they never got the bird. So of course we called Blue Pearl to find out what happened. They had no record that the bird was euthanized and couldn't tell us if the bird was actually picked up. I talked to Carl, the practice manager and he assured me he was going to look into what happened and that he would call me back the following day. I've left several messages and he has been unresponsive. Clearly they don't care about animals. They lost this bird or threw it in the dumpster. If you want anything to live, don't bring it here. *****And the response to my review is completely bogus. I did not work with the practice manager to find the right place. I brought the bird to BluePearl, because you are a site that holds animals after hours for CROW. CROW never got the bird. And your practice manager could not then would not answer as to what happened.

My dog was having spine issues and we could not find a place open in our area (Sarasota) that had an MRI. I called Blue Pearl Ft. Myers, and told them my situation. They let me know there machine was up and running and to come in. I told them I was coming from Sarasota and my eta. My wife and I with our injured dog drove 1.5 hours south just to be told there machine is not on and the do not do scans on Sunday! Three hours wasted while our dog is in severe pain in the back seat. This is just another chain emergency vet that has no care or compassion. Please avoid if possible. Terrible communication and lack of credibility. If they say we don’t have record of your visit in the comments, it is because we communicated only on the phone. It will just be another way they try and justify this review. Be warned.

Took our dog in today because she stopped eating, was vomiting and had diarrhea. So thankful we took her here when our regular vet couldn't get her in. The staff was amazing and took a lot of time answering my questions. Thankfully they were able to quickly diagnose our girl and get her feeling back to her normal self. Highly recommend BluePearl! Thank you to the staff. Truly appreciate you!

Brought my 12 week old golden retriever puppy In for a minor scratch and they said they would give her pain medicine, when I got my dog back she was fully sedated with the maximum dose of a strong narcotic. Had to go to another er to make sure she was ok, wouldn’t even blink or move for hours, unacceptable

Dr. Jonathan Levine and his staff practically saved my little boy Talon. He is still under their care as we speak, but I would not have it any other way. I am so appreciative. The wait may be long and tiring, but so far worth it. I would recommend this place 100%. Thank you all at BluePearl in Fort Myers off Daniels for truly loving our fur babies and other species that may come in and out of your practice. I am thankful. - Marie May

Met with Dr. Scroggin to talk about the next step in trying to figure out what is going on with my dog. It has been a stressful time for us and he listened to what our concerns were and looked at all of the information we already had before looking at our next steps. He was honest and straightforward about the different options and also took into consideration that we had already spent alot of money on our dog without any answers up to this point. I really appreciated that and in the end we found out what was going on. At the end of the day, we went over the different steps we could take and the likelihood that those solutions would work or not. Overall, I would recommend them if you haven't received any answers from your primary but keep in mind they are a specialty vet which comes with a higher cost.

We came to the very difficult decision that it was time to put our 13 year dog down. Unfortunately this time came on a weekend and we didn't think it was fair to our dog to wait until regular office hours at the vet he had been to before. So we went to this place. BIG MISTAKE. They botched his euthanasia. They injected him with the first dose to make him relaxed and go to sleep before the pentobarbital. It DIDN'T work. Doctor Levine said the catheter wasn't done correctly he needed to go get more meds. After more waiting, 2 techs came in that we had not seen before and said they need to shave his other leg to put another catheter in and I was surprised (and very emotional since this wasn't going well) and said you can't do that to him! They asked if we wanted the doctor, we said yes. Waiting more. (Yes I get it that we aren't the only ones there, but we are putting our dog down and you botched this thing). We go out to find out where Dr. Levine is and if you can believe this: he said that we were rude to the techs and if we wanted to we should take our dog somewhere else! So we waited again, the techs came back and our dog was so fully of anxiety and growled and tried to bite them as they were trying to put the 2nd catheter in him. So now they said they had to muzzle him. I had to walk out - they finally were able to get the damn thing in and then more waiting for Dr. Levine. He finally came in, our dog was so frightened and full of anxiety at that point, I just wanted this over. The shot worked this time, THANK GOD. Dr. Levine was the most uncaring vet I have ever come across. This vet decided it was important to escalate this situation rather than stop telling us how rude we were and that we were lucky we didn't wait longer because there were many other people there ahead of us, etc...(I wish we had a video, because we were not rude at all - concerned, sad, irritated at the horrible process and above all helpless to help our poor dog who was frightened). He CHOSE to escalate this situation with stupid accusations instead of just getting the situation with our dog under control. DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

When we called to ask questions regarding our dog and we decided to take him there this evening it would have been nice to have been told that there would be a two to four hour wait. When we got there and found the doors unlocked and that we were not allowed to enter due to covid we were perplexed. The sign on the door gave the optional to wearing masks if we had been vaccinated. If you're not going to allow patients in why was that necessary? We found the receptionist to be a bit abbrasive and borderline rude. When she opened the door she asked which car was ours and that we were to wait there until we could be seen. When she first greeted us she asked" what do you want?" I explained we had called and things went down hill with her from there. We're giving them a three only because a tech did try to help us. What he did only lasted a little while but he did not charge us so we can't complain there. Would not go back there after this experience.

Tried to scam us for more money than required for the procedure. Wanted to keep our dog for 2 nights when all it required was an out patient lavage procedure. The Dr. asked us if we were in it to win it for $7K!! Ridiculous. Had to sign a AMA form. Our baby is fine. They are competent was not happy with the pressure!!!!! Made for a very bad experience.

Dr. Levine and his staff are five stars all the way! When Duke came in with a vomiting issue, they ran every test possible (at my request) and gave him the proper treatment he needed to recover. We are very thankful for Dr. Levine and his team they are incredible!

This place was a god send. Our puppy had decided to jump from the car window going 60mph. They heard about our financial situation and ensured he was still seen immediately. They gave us the prescription so we could fill it when we had money, and allowed us to save our money for home care. Thankfully the pup has no broken bones or major injures

Absolutely the worst. Brought my cat Kelly in for an emergency and was given the run around. I was told by the staff that if I didn’t like it, I can take my cat somewhere else. When I became angry at the callousness of that statement, one of the techs came out to my car. She thought she would put me in my place and she proceeded to argue with me in the parking lot. Then I was told by the so-called “doctor” that my cat needed to be euthanized. I signed the AMA (against medical advice) form and took my Kelly out of there. I got an appointment with South Gate Vet (Dr. Ole is absolutely wonderful and compassionate) and she was given two injections. Kelly is doing so much better now, thank God. DO NOT take your pet to Blue Pearl. They’re overpriced and barbaric. Like many others, if I could give negative stars I would.

Such a bad services! I brought my dog because she was in pain and they couldn’t do anything about it. They literally told me if I wanted to do some exams it would cost around a thousand dollars. They didn’t do anything and I had to pay for a such a bad service! DISAPPOINTED!!
