Dr. Booth was FABULOUS. Yes it took awhile to have my cat seen but it's very busy here but well organized! She was so caring and explained everything in great detail. Totally did not rush any interactions. What a pleasure to deal with and the cost was no different than any other emergency vet facility!

We appreciate Dr. Lang being familiar with records previously provided since this was Isabella's first visit. Dr. Reeper was also very pleasant and compassionate, just like Dr. Lang. Having diagnostics at first visit rather than rescheduling was greatly appreciated. All the staff were great! I highly recommend Florida Veterinary Referral to anyone with a specialty need or emergency.

Took very good care of my pet.He needed to have surgery and since it was the weekend, I was unable to find any other Veterinary clinic that could or would take him.I was very happy with the care that my pet received there.Staff was very informative and called me to let me know how he was doing. I appreciate all the care I have gotten from Dr. Lang, her nurses, and everyone at FVRC. The cost is reasonable and I have faith in Dr. Lang and her ability to figure out the best course of action.

We brought our 15 month old cat, Bryant, in at 2 a.m. with an extremely stuffy nose. He could hardly breathe and was not himself. He had these issues before in SC, but they merely treated the symptoms. The tech, David, and the vet, Dr. Giem, were both compassionate and knowledgeable.They diagnosed the cause of his problems, and recommended treatment to make him feel better and to try to prevent this in the future or at least lessen the severity. We received an email 24 hours later with additional information to help him and his brother here and when we return to SC. We would definitely recommend the Florida Veterinary Referral Center & 24 hour Emergency & Critical Care. We wish they were in SC! ????❤️

Emergency service was very responsive. We needed an immediate ultrasound and the staff found a way to get it done. Very professional vet services and communication. Suggestions were possible to implement and greatly helped our pet. Highly recommend using these services.

I was on vacation and my pet sitter advised me of the emergency nature of my dog (Sasha) condition. I immediately asked her to take to nearest Emergency Hospital and she took Sasha to yours. She was totally impressed as to how you handled the intake of my beloved pet. She called me immediately and from then on, I had constant contact with the Doctor or staff and each time was thouroughly satisfied with my pet's care. I felt confident that Sasha was getting the best care possible and was treated with respect and empathy. Thank you for being there in this time of need and for your superb customer service. The constant communication between the Doctor/Staff and the patience to answer all my questions and concerns. < br /> < br />

I brought my pet in for an emergency visit, and despite the office being very busy with appointments they were very accommodating and took time caring for my pet and communicating with me during the process. Every staff member I encountered was very pleasant and helpful.

FVRC did a great job with our 14 year old Golden, Bailey and gave her the care and us the tools to help her maintain a good quality of life. If you go, ask for Dr. Booth and technician Kim; they were both terrific.

I am from out of town but staying in FL for an extended period. My dog had some issues prior to me traveling but the meds previously given just didn't seem to help. I really wanted him to feel comfortable since we won't be returning to our own vet for a few weeks so I found FVRC and so I'm so happy with the experience. They were prompt, quick, and affordable! I really felt like the exam and meds price was super reasonable and I came out with solid answers. The doctor was kind and easy to understand when explaining what was going on and what I needed to be looking for in the future to help my dog.

Dr Parra and his Staff, top to bottom, fixed up my Coltman after 2 other Facilities, and 2500 dollars, mis diagnosed my best friend, who goes to work with me every day! He’s just over 10, with a lot of life left in him! I’d recommend skipping any other Pet ER’s, and going straight to this Facility! Yes, it’s a bit expensive, bit making this ER your first stop will save you in the long run! Hats off! They really care! Ryan Bennett & Coltman

I was referred here by my local vet due to an emergent need for my senior dog. I was greeted by the front staff and led back to a room. The vet tech sat with me and got all of my information for the vet. She got the vet, which turned out to be Dr. Caro. She told me what her plan of care was and would be back in the room shortly with an estimate. She allowed time for all of my questions before they started with diagnostics on my fur baby. I was given thorough explanations of what each step would be. They informed me of approximate wait times while waiting for results. I was very impressed with the level of communication all staff members provided me. Everyone was pleasant, and I couldn't have been happier. I'm thankful I was given this referral. My 16 yr old daschund was well taken care of, and with the regime of medications they put her on, she was back on the road to recovery in less than a day. I highly recommend FVRC!

I had an excellent experience with everyone. The only time I felt a little uneasy was when Reyna was taken to the treatment room to be monitored, but I know this is part of the treatment process. I did receive communication that she was stable during the waiting. Thank you for your kind care and treatment! The ease at which we were taken in was very helpful, and the receptionist's kind demeanor and concern helped to ease the stress of the situation.

As always, FVRC took great care of my girl! I appreciated the way they got us in quickly, even though it wasn't life threatening on this visit. They were kind and courteous to me and kept me informed, and they were great with my pup! Most importantly, they provided excellent medical care to her, as they have always done in the past. We have been going here since 2010, and I am sure that they have saved my dog's life at least 3 times!

Dr. Parra and the staff were amazing. We got an appointment quickly and we were seen on time. They took great care of my dog and of us. Dr. Parra spent a lot of time with us and extensively explained the condition and all of our options. It was exactly what we hoped for when we made the appointment.

Any stars at all are just for the procedure because my dog has, as far as I know, been successfully treated. Dr. Baez is apparently a credible pet physician but IMO sounds like one of the most unintelligible health professionals I’ve ever met. Aside from a sheer lack of affection for my dog, his attempt to clarify what my dogs operation entailed was the first of many red flags. All while speaking in generalizations and using acronyms that he assumes you’re already familiar with, it took almost half an hour of his ‘complimentary time’ to explain what could have been said in 2 minutes. When you speak or have a question, he is very quick to fire back with a bunch of disingenuous “I understands” meanwhile interrupting you. I felt like I had to decipher the meaningful aspects of what he said about the procedure between a slew of eh’s & uhh’s. His presentation was even more distracting because he repeated himself a few times and spoke with his hands increasingly more after every question I asked. I’m sure that the best doctors/ veterinarians in the world aren’t the best with people but our interaction happens to be part of the overall service and it was fundamentally, a very poor one. Forgive me if I’m wrong when I expect a doctor to be able to be articulate in order to make at the very least, the total cost of EVERYTHING, comprehensible. Not to mention, victim of the old bait and switch with pricing. I won’t go back because this doctor in particular made me feel uncomfortable and their prices are extremely high- since it is an emergency clinic.

I have to say I thoroughly read the reviews before going to this vet and some of them nearly made me go elsewhere and may even have colored my initial reaction while there, but our experience at this s animal hospital could not have been more positive. Dr. Simiento, while initially very straightforward and certainly pulling no punches about the turn our dog’s medical situation could take, was a dream of a caretaker for our Willa. Her worry for our dog may have made us experience more stress, but it is that very worry for our Willa that kept her on top of any possible issue Willa might experience and her skill in meeting that challenge head on was unmatched. Her knowledge and explanations of what were going on were very thorough, as well, even drawing us a pic of what was occurring inside our dog during this emergency. We could not be more thankful for this Doctor, the staff of FLVRC and our experience at this hospital. The care they provided was top notch. The vet techs there kept us fully informed throughout the evening, sending videos to us of our girl and keeping us up to date constantly while also finding the answers to our many questions. Thank you to all of you for saving our Willa this week. We are more grateful than you know. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars was that their ventilator was not in working condition and should our Willa had needed it, she would have died because they did not have the staff overnight to handle manually bagging her until morning. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Just call first to see if the vent was repaired if you believe your dog may need a ventilator but otherwise, five star performance by all.

Dr. Lang is great. She always spends ample time after examining Hoss to explain everything and answer any questions. Melanie is amazing too. She just loves Hoss and is always so sweet and friendly.

I was very happy with all aspects of my visit with Gracie. I will be coming back with any other specialist or emergency care for all of our dogs. Dr. Lang's knowledge and clear, complete explanation of the care she gave Gracie was most reassuring. Thank you!
