1. The only vet in town who agreed to take in a kitten who was hit by a car and saved her life, thank you Dr. Barbara (July 2020). …

Edit for owner response: she was last seen by your clinic September 1, 2021, which is well within the 12-month legal requirement. When this happened previously and I called your office, I was told even though she was seen recently it was not a "medication review" and they would not approve her meds until I made another appointment. For basic heartworm chews and flea chews the hassel isn't worth it, I'd rather find another vet clinic. Five years ago when I first started using this vet, I would have given them a five star review. But they have honestly gone downhill so fast it's sad. They hold you hostage for appointments and medications, and look down on you when you question cost or reasoning behind their recommendations. If I don't bring my dog in exactly on time for their recommended 8-month checkups (she is a perfectly healthy 3 year old dog) they will not approve my order for heartworm medicine or flea medication through chewy. It has honestly gotten so ridiculously frustrating trying to igure out why they decline her orders constantly. Then I bring her in for an unecessary appointment that costs me $60 for them to tell me what I already knew:She's healthy! Not to mention that it has become almost impossible to get a pet in for any sort of emergency. They're so booked up I typically can't get an appointment sooner than 2 weeks out.

My service dog see Dr Barbara and we couldn’t be happier. He’s healthier and happier and full of energy. At Florida Wild they don’t push meds or unnecessary treatment for dogs and promote healthy and holistic diets that will definitely extend the quality life of your pets ????❤️

The staff are so friendly, everyone as a team really care for your furry friends. I would definitely recommend Florida Wild Veterinary Hospital to my friends and family. Many thanks to Dr. Holder and everyone at Florida Wild.

I wanted to bring my cat in for an upper respiratory infection and the girl said they are booked out for 3-4 weeks then laughed about it. That’s ok and understand that they are booked up however the fact that she laughed about it was extremely rude. Definitely won’t be giving these people my business

Every visit I've ever had at FloridaWild has been nothing short of enlightening. The doctors are the most knowledgeable and thorough that I have literally ever experienced. Their insight to the various health conditions of companion animals and small exotics is absolutely incomparable. I would recommend them to anyone, anywhere.

I have always loved going here, as the staff is not just knowledgeable but caring as well. I always feel like they take hard news and loss just as much as I do, so it feels great to know that they care so much.

Dr. Holder did more for our dog with cancer in 2 appointments than specialists did for $thousands- truly impressive skill and care. We had been to a dozen vets in the last year. Finally our dog is doing better than she has been in a year. I would drive a long way for Dr. Holder's veterinary CARE.

First Dental at Florida Wild! Dr Schrager and Kevin went above and beyond for our baby! Bella needed a dental and Dr. Schrager was able to do a liver biopsy and remove a spot on her eyelid all at once. They bonded 4 of her teeth amd treated her inflamed gums. She had one completely broken tooth which they were able to treat. Her teeth look so much better it’s unbelievable. It’s not a cheap process but the job they do is well worth the price. Dr. Schrager is great at figuring out how to work smartly on your animal and do things when they make sense while she is under anesthesia. We have used Florida Wild for many years and love the practice!

Very knowledgeable vet with specific plans to help your pet. My dog has bad allergies, and this is the only vet that has helped her get back to normal. They have a very holistic approach that worked wonders for my dog. I drive all the way from Jacksonville to go here!

We recently took our sweet Kevin (7 year old standard size goldendoodle) to FloridaWild for an emergency issue. He was showing signs of some of back pain, couldn't jump up on the bed and his back was overly hunched, very abnormal for his regular behavior. I was not an established client, having never visited their offices I thought for sure they would not be able to see me the next day. They fit me in first thing the next morning for an emergency appointment, took xrays, performed his annual exam, and did not load him up on medication. He ended up being majorly constipated, the vets took a very holistic approach in giving me natural pain relievers to give him, along with making changes to his diet with raw foods and adding certain things to his diet. They also did an adjustment to his back. All around they did everything they could to ensure he was well taken care of while he was there, and when he was sent home. The staff was wonderful and followed up on more than one occasion to make sure he was on the mend.

We are so happy with Florida Wild; our little Coton de Tulear was having issues with the pads on her paws; we received multiple phone calls and emails in addition to the appointments while she was being treated. The level of concern and care made us feel like our pet was their pet. Highly recommend these talented doctors and their outstanding staff.

Florida Wild has always treated my sweet puppy with the utmost priority. They are so respectful and loving to all their patients. Their safe, unconventional treatment plans for rehab and care makes me feel like I'm giving him the best care. HIGHLY recommend for anyone, any pet type, any need and ESPECIALLY Rehabilitation or long term care of special needs.

Truly the best vet office i’ve ever been to. I took my leopard gecko in and they were extremely knowledgeable and kind. I will be making this office my main veterinarian for all of my animals. Plus, it smells amazing and is the coolest/cutest building ever. It’s nice to go to people you feel you can trust when your babies are hurting.

Exceptional facility with docs who are trained in Eastern and Western medicine. They have really tried to continue the care with good Covid protocols. Dr. Holder continues to see the animals through caring, empathetic eyes and heart. ❤

I adopted a chinchilla who has been extremely lethargic and not drinking water. Since tonight would have been 72 hrs without water I decided to call and talk to a vet assistant to see what they recommended, and they said to bring him in as an emergency visit. They gave him an exam and called to say that he was healthy besides being a bit dehydrated, and offered a fluid shot and gave him some emergency care powdered food. The doctor was very professional and seemed compassionate about my new boy. It was a little pricy for the emergency visit but since I brought him home he has perked up, is foraging, and is eating the treats that were scattered across his cage. Will definitely be back here for my chinchillas annual checkups!

Fantastic veterinary practice. They love my animals just as I do. Compassionate, professional, reasonably priced. Words cannot express just how happy I am with this vet especially Dr. Schrager!

Our guinea pig was recently suffering from a skin condition, and she was rather uncomfortable (scratching and popping). Last year we visited a different local vet office for a different problem, but the provider was obviously lacking in knowledge to treat our little critter. Fortunately, she recovered from that on her own. At FloridaWild, they informed me that they had exotic pet vets, and they were seeing many local referrals for guinea pig care. This reassured us, and we were delighted to get an appointment that very day due to a cancellation. The vet (Dr Hathaway) and her team were very thorough, and clearly knew their way around a guinea pig. After some great recommendations, medications and special bathing, Twix is happy again! Our waiting room chats with other pet parents revealed that they are all very happy customers, so it was a wise choice to call them. We can highly recommend them for excellent guinea pig care.

Took my Super-Senior pup in for a skin issue that was making her bleed and scratch all day. Dr. Holder called me and we discussed the treatment and she did a full workup on my old lady. With her skin issue healed Dr. Holder is giving her holistic care so that she is happier and healthy for what time we have left. She was happy at pick up ( a first ever!) Despite the current covid situation, Fl Wild is doing a great job at communicating care and taking care lf their patients! We couldn't be happier!

Florida Wild took in a bunch of puppies that were found abandon, 1 of thoses puppies became my fur baby once she was old enough to go home. When she was just a few months old she needed an emergency surgery or she would die within hours. My husband and I were scrambling to get the money together and the Doctor told us to just get our baby to the clinic so they could save her life and didn't care about the money, money could always be worked out later her life on the other hand could not wait. We got her to the clinic and the doctors saved her life no questions asked. I knew right then that this clinic actually cared about animals, that their patients werent just a dollar sign.. and I've been there ever since - I have used them for boarding as well. My dogs enjoy it there and they are trustworthy !!! Thanks Florida Wild

I took my ferret BoBo to see the vet he has adrenal disease.. He needed an implant. I was not allowed in to the clinic and I understand because of the virus. So I can't tell you how they treated him. What my problem was I was told 85.00 for the implant and when the vet called me I was shocked 385.00 almost twice of any vet I talked to. I think they are very over priced.
